Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine zum Zerschneiden von Grünfutter, Stroh u. dgl. bestimmte Vorrichtung sowie auf mit dieser Vorrichtung versehene Maschinen, die mit einer Anzahl an einer in einem Gehäuse drehbar gelagerten Welle angebrachter Schneidemesser und einer Anzahl in die Zwischenräume zwischen den genannten Messern hineinragender Gegenmesser versehen sind. Diese Gegenmesser sind mit ihrem einen Ende an einer zu der die Schneidmesser tragenden Welle parallelen Welle befestigt, die drehbar gelagert und mit einem radial hervorragenden Arm versehen ist.
