Der Belag 11 ist etwas höher als die ringförmige Nut im Halter 4, in der er liegt, so daß zwischen den Teilen 4 und 6 ein Spiel in axialer Richtung besteht und daß, sobald auf das Brett eine Klemmwirkung ausgeübt wird, dieser Belag zwischen den Teilen 4 und 6 gepreßt wird. Daraus ergibt sich eine Verformung dieses Belages, welcher alsdann radial nach außen gedrückt und gegen die Innenwand des Rohres 1 gepreßt wird, wodurch die gewünschte Bremswirkung zwischen Halter 4 und Rohr 1 entsteht. Im Inneren des Rohres 1 befindet sich noch ein Gegenflansch 12, welcher in bezug auf den Flansch 6 auf der entgegengesetzten Seite des Einschnittes 10 untergebracht ist. Dieser Flansch ist mit einem elastischen Belag 13 versehen und mit dem Rohr 1 mittels eines federnden Halteringes 14 verbunden, der im Raum zwischen zwei Nuten eingebracht ist, die ihrerseits im Umfang des Flansches 6 bzw. in der Innenseite des Rohres 1 vorgesehen sind. Fig. 2 zeigt diesen federnden Ring 14 mit umgebogenen Enden 15 und 16, welche in eine öffnung 17 des Gegenflansches derart eingreifen, daß durch Nähern der Enden 15 und 16 mittels einer Zange der Ring 14 so verformt wird, daß er aus der Nut des Rohres 1 austritt und so den Gegenflansch 12 freigibt. Der in den Einschnitt 10 eingeführte Rand des Brettes wird durch Betätigung des Halters 4 zwischen den ringförmigen Belägen 9, 13 festgelegt, deren Reibungskoeffizient am Brett hoch ist, wodurch ein wirksames Festklemmen des Brettes im Einschnitt gesichert ist. Besteht das Brett aus hartem Werkstoff (Glas, Metall), so ist es zweckmäßig, für die erwähnten Beläge weichen und elastischen Baustoff, z. B. Polyvinylchlorid, zu wählen, da dieser Stoff in bezug auf Glas und Metall einen hohen Reibungskoeffizienten aufweist. Bei der beschriebenen Ausführung können auch Änderungen vorgenommen werden; so> könnte der Gegenflansch weggelassen und der Brettrand zwischen dem Rohreinsatzflansch 6 und dem Einschnittrand 10 festgeklemmt werden. Die ringförmigen Beläge aus weichem Material könnten durch kleine Einzelblöcke ersetzt werden. Auch könnte man mehrere konzentrische Beläge auf der Backe und auf der Gegenbacke anordnen; die Beläge können aus verschiedenen Stoffen bestehen, unter denen Kautschuk, Kork und zahlreiche synthetische Stoffe namhaft gemacht werden können. Die einzelnen Teile der Vorrichtung können sowohl aus Metall als auch aus gießbarem oder dergleichen! Stoff hergestellt werden. Der Sperring 8 kann ebensogut aus Metall bestehen. Ferner ist selbstverständlich, daß der obere Teil des Halters 4 beliebige Gestalt, etwa polygonale Form aufweisen kann, um das Festklemmen zu erleichtern.
