Es ist bekannt, daß bei Kondensatbildung oder Verbleib von Wasser in den Toträumen im Innern der Gehäuse von abgeschlossenen Absperrschiebern durch Aufheizung hohe Drücke entstehen können, die das Schiebergehäuse unzulässig hoch belasten. Das Diagramm in Fig. 3 veranschaulicht die Druckzunahme, die dadurch entsteht, bei einer bestimmten Temperatursteigerung, wobei die Füllung als Parameter aufgetragen ist. Die Füllung V ist dabei das Verhältnis des Volumens der eingeschlossenen Flüssigkeit zum Innenyolumen des Schiebergehäuses.
