Rychlý rozvoj nových technologií při přenosu důvěrných informací a jejich masové využívání v běžném životě je provázeno nebezpečnou snahou po jejich falšování, kterým mohou být uživatelům způsobeny značné ztráty především finanční.The rapid development of new technologies in the transmission of confidential information and their massive use in everyday life is accompanied by a dangerous attempt to falsify them, which can cause considerable losses to users, particularly financial ones.
Známé způsoby ochrany těchto informací na nosičích jsou založeny na tom, že plocha informací je překryta neprůhlednou stíratelnou vrstvou, jejíž setření umožní informaci přečíst. V takovém případě může falšovatel setřenou vrstvu obnovit a nosič informace znovu prodat. Telefonní karta 1 je v obdélníkové ploše 2 opatřena tištěnou informací a minimálně v rozsahu obdélníkové plochy 2 je překryta neprůhlednou stíratelnou vrstvou 3. Na stíratelnou vrstvu 3 je v celém rozsahu vytvořen metodou termotransfertisku čárový kód 4, který plochu stíratelné vrstvy přesahuje po celém obvodu o 4 mm.
