Abstract
<p>Un método (600) a realizar por un dispositivo inalámbrico, que comprende los pasos de: transmitir (610) datos de usuario en un primer símbolo de un primer tipo de símbolo, configurar el dispositivo inalámbrico para que el primer tipo de símbolo tenga una primera duración de símbolo, un primer ancho de banda de frecuencia, y un primer plano de tono, configurar el dispositivo inalámbrico para que el primer plano de tono comprenda un primer índice de tono de inicio válido, un primer índice de tono de finalización válido, y un primer conjunto de tonos de corriente continua (DC); y transmitir (620) un campo de entrenamiento largo (LTF) en un segundo símbolo de un segundo tipo de símbolo, configurar el dispositivo inalámbrico para que el segundo tipo de símbolo tenga una segunda duración de símbolo, un segundo ancho de banda de frecuencia, y un segundo plano de tono, configurar el dispositivo inalámbrico para que el segundo plano de tono comprenda un segundo índice de tono de inicio válido, un segundo índice de tono de finalización válido, y un segundo conjunto de tonos de DC, en el que un tono válido es un tono utilizable para la transmisión por el dispositivo inalámbrico excluyendo tonos de guardia y tonos DC, y en el cual el primer plano de tono es diferente del segundo plano de tono; en el que la segunda duración de símbolo es menor que la primera duración de símbolo; en el que el segundo índice de tono de inicio válido es una función del primer índice de tono de inicio válido, y el segundo índice de tono de finalización válido es una función del primer índice de tono de finalización válido.</p> <p> </p>
