Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un biorreactor de estado sólido estático y método para usar el mismo. El biorreactor comprende un recipiente que tiene un extremo superior y un extremo inferior, el extremo superior tiene una apertura sellable. Un sistema de distribución de gas en comunicación con el extremo superior y el extremo inferior del recipiente. Un sistema de distribución de líquido en comunicación con el extremo superior del recipiente. Un sistema de recuperación de líquido en comunicación con el extremo inferior del recipiente. Un sistema de remoción de material dispuesto en el extremo inferior del recipiente para remover biomasa a partir del recipiente.
