Abstract
Compuestos basados en peptidos, incluyendo anillos de tres miembros que contienen heteroatomos, inhiben eficiente y selectivamente las actividades especificas de las hidrolasas de nucleofilos N-terminales (Ntn) asociadas al proteosoma. Los compuestos basados en peptidos incluyen un epoxido o aziridina y funcionalizacion en el extremo N. Entre otras utilidades terapeuticas, se espera que los compuestos basados en peptidos exhiban propiedades antiflamatorias e inhibicion de la proliferacion celular.Peptide-based compounds, including three-membered rings containing heteroatoms, efficiently and selectively inhibit the specific activities of N-terminal nucleophilic hydrolases (Ntn) associated with the proteasome. Peptide-based compounds include an epoxide or aziridine and functionalization at the N-terminus. Among other therapeutic utilities, peptide-based compounds are expected to exhibit anti-inflammatory properties and inhibition of cell proliferation.
