Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con procedimientos paraformar una punta biselada en catéter caracterizados porque comprenden: a) colocar un pasador en un catéter tubular, de manera que el pasador se extienda más allá de la punta del catéter; b) calentar un molde que tiene una superficie interna complementaria de la superficie de punta externa deseada del catéter; dicho molde tiene una zona de mayor temperatura y una zona de menor temperatura, alejada de la zona de mayor temperatura; c) insertar el pasador y el catéter dentro del molde, de manea que el pasador alcance por lo menos un extremo distal de la superficie formadora de molde para formar un espacio definido al menos parcialmente por el pasador y la superficie del molde; d) continuar avanzando el catéter dentro del espacio, de manera que dicha zona de mayor temperatura haga que el material del catéter se ablande y fluya hasta que el material hace contacto con la zona de menor temperatura, con lo que el material del catéter deja de fluir. Procedimientos para formar una punta biselada en un catéter, caracterizado porque comprende: a) calentar un molde que tiene una superficie interna complementaria de la superficie de punta externa deseada del catéter; el molde tiene un pasador que se extiende desde él, para recibir en él dicho catéter; el molde caliente tiene una zona de mayor temperatura y una zona de menor temperatura, alejada de la zona de mayor temperatura; b) insertar el pasador en un catéter tubular y hacer avanzar el catéter dentro del molde; c) continuar avanzando el catéter dentro del molde, de manera que la zona de mayor temperatura haga que el material del catéter se ablande y fluya hasta que el material hace contacto con la zona de menor temperatura, con lo cual deja de fluir el material de catéter.
