Description

Cartridge for accommodating optical recording medium in the form of optical disk
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an optical disc cartridge, and more particularly, to a cartridge body, such as a Compact Disc (CD) cartridge, a Digital Video Disc (DVD) cartridge, etc., for receiving an optical recording medium in the form of an optical disc, which can completely protect the medium or the optical disc from environmental factors around the medium or the optical disc.
When the case body is closed, the optical disk can be completely fixed in the case body, and when the case body is opened, the optical disk can be automatically released without any other operation in this respect.
Background
According to the prior art, the case for containing the optical recording medium in the form of a disc has a raised structure in the middle of its base for coupling, usually by means of engaging teeth or projections, through holes in the disc for adjusting the disc. The raised structure has a compressible deformation zone which allows the disc to be released from its holder by applying pressure at the raised portion, or by pulling the disc directly from its peripheral zone. In addition, the base typically has a plurality of circumferential projections concentric with the central projection structure for supporting the disc from the outer edge.
The raised structure is adapted to be manufactured during the plastic moulding of the box wall so that it is integral with the box wall.
The operation of loosening the disc results in a number of excessive forces that may damage the cartridge of the disc and deform the disc, causing the disc to bend radially, or at least causing disc fatigue effects.
Other methods have been developed to try to move the optical disc smoothly on the original infrastructure, and some methods have been developed to ensure that the optical disc is provided or convenient for the user. To this end, devices such as those described in US 479380, US 5573120, US 5906257 and US 6283284 have been developed to facilitate the opening and removal of the cartridge by the user, with different configurations.
However, due to the lack of integrity of these structures or devices, some cases are prone to damage to the disc due to the weak position of the disc and the pressure or friction exerted on the data area by the platform that raises the disc.
In addition, the devices described in these documents have other significant drawbacks, such as the fact that the optical disc is not presented horizontally to the user when the case is opened, making the operation of removing and replacing the optical disc difficult. Moreover, the construction of the case filled with the optical disk is difficult to realize.
These structures also suffer from a number of other drawbacks, including the fact that when the case is opened, the conventional protrusion or central socket is used for attachment, and the user must additionally actuate the release of the disc by means of a disc adjuster or other type of removal mechanism.
The utility model discloses the content
The utility model provides a box body has rationally solved above-mentioned problem, ensures the CD and fixes completely under the box body closure state to the CD can loosen automatically and take off when the box body is opened.
To achieve this, the case is provided with a tray, one end of which is connected to the case base and the other end of which is connected to the case spine or the upper cover, so that the tray moves relative to the case base during opening or closing operation, performs separation operation in accordance with the opening operation, and performs insertion operation in accordance with the closing operation.
The tray is of unitary construction, with a central position thereof associated with the central hole of the disc, and has elastic prongs for engaging the disc with engaging teeth, said teeth being inclined in a released position, maintained at a distance from the edge of the central hole of the disc, and they being inclined only outwardly in the direction of the locking position, during the movement of the tray towards the bottom of the case, in the closed condition, the stop of the latter penetrates the centre of the tray and stops moving and forces said teeth to incline radially outwards, and towards the locking position of the disc.
Thus, the optical disc is simply placed on the tray, centered on the tray support member, without any radial pressure being exerted on the optical disc, and the tray is automatically lowered to the bottom of the case in a case closing operation, and then the disc locking means is automatically activated, thereby keeping the optical disc completely stabilized in the case and continuously fixed in a closed state. When the case is opened, the tray is automatically lifted by the opening operation, and then the optical disc locking structure is automatically released, so that the optical disc can be manually grabbed and separated from the case without any effort.
Finally, another difference of the invention with respect to other devices designed according to the prior art with the same purpose is that the case can be made in one piece, with obvious advantages.

In order to supplement the above description, the characteristics of the invention, according to its preferred embodiments, forming part of said description, are then appended: wherein,
fig. 1 is a perspective view showing an opened state of a cartridge body for accommodating an optical recording medium in the form of an optical disc, which achieves the object of the present invention;
FIG. 2 is an enlarged partial perspective view of a central region of the tray with the tray body open;
FIG. 3 shows the same components, but with the disc locking mechanism activated by the tray drop during the cassette closing operation;
FIG. 4 is a partial perspective view of the hinged portion of the tray and the spine;
FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the tray in an unconnected state;
finally, fig. 6 is identical to the fig. 1 part, but in which the tray is also not connected to the cartridge spine, but as an extension of the latter, the state of fig. 1 being obtained after connection.
Detailed Description
As shown in fig. 1 to 6, which show a case 1 of the present invention, as an optical disc fixing device integrated, a hinged movable tray 2 has a protrusion 2a for supporting the periphery of an optical disc and a means 3 for fixing the optical disc from the center. The tray has three swivel joints 2b, one of which is connected to the bottom of the box. The other end of the tray is connected with the box ridge through a shaft hole system 7, the shaft hole system comprises a horizontal cylindrical shaft 8a extending out of a bulge 8 vertically extending upwards from the inner surface of the box ridge when the two box bodies are opened, and two horizontal cylindrical holes in the tray. Each hole is formed by two claw-shaped projections 9 and is elastically deformable so that they can open and allow the cylindrical projections on the cartridge ridges to engage. This connection allows the tray to rotate relative to the spine at the connection. When the case is opened, the spine rotates relative to its swivel attached to the case and causes the tray 2 to rise by three swivel movements until it is clear of the base.
A second design to ensure that the tray is raised during opening of the box is to attach one end of the tray to the inner surface of the lid instead of to the spine of the box. This design is similar to the above described design, using the same axial hole system, but with the projections 8 in the case extending vertically upwards from the inner surface of the lid in the fully open position of the case.
Variations of the two designs described above include placing elements on the tray that act as a shaft and elements on the spine or cover that act as holes.
The means 3 for centrally holding the optical disc, attached to the tray 2, consist of a cylindrical platform 3a supporting the inner surface of the body of the optical disc. The platform has a hole with three holders 4 at its center, which serve as a central structure for holding the disc when engaging with the hole in the disc. Three resilient prongs 5 with engaging teeth 5a are embedded in the structure. In the supporting condition, the pins are inclined at least 45 DEG towards the centre of the hole in the platform of the tray, so that the teeth 5a and their periphery do not touch the disk. The three prongs resiliently deform when the case is closed so that the opening faces outwardly, keeping the disk out of contact with the platform 3a of the tray and lowering the tray so that the projections 6 on the base pass through the apertures in the tray and push the prongs upwardly and outwardly. Therefore, when the case is closed, the pins 5 are deformed and urged by the projections 6 to keep the optical disk out of contact with the tray by engaging the teeth.
The projection 6 has three walls perpendicular to the base, the top of which is in contact with the spring pins 5. The shape of the projection is generally slightly conically curved, widening towards the bottom.
To ensure that the tray is below the level required for the prongs to fully open, when the box is closed, a plurality of projections 1 on the inside surface of the lid push the tray down until areas 2c press against the knuckles 2 b. Also, to avoid excessive fall of the tray, the inner surface thereof has a protrusion 11 for blocking.
The base 1b also has a plurality of circumferential projections 12 for supporting the edge of the optical disk when the case is closed and for ensuring the moisture retention around the optical disk in the closed state of the case.
The preferred embodiment of the invention is obtained by injecting sufficient elastic plastic, integral with the tray, not requiring connection to the box spine or upper cover, and sufficiently low. The trays are connected through their shaft hole system in a concurrent folding and clamping operation. The geometry of the product simplifies the manufacturing process.
According to this construction, and according to the case configuration shown in fig. 1, the optical disk can be simply placed in the center of the tray 2 by means of the protrusion 2a, the elastic prongs 5 directly pass through from the inside, and the same number of engaging teeth 5a are located thereon and are inclined upward and inward. In this configuration, tilting the cover 1a toward the closed position moves the tray 2a downward and, at the same time, laterally, causing the projections 6 to pass through the openings formed in the circumferential holders 4, forcing the resilient pins 5 to deform radially outward. The teeth 5a are made to pass through the central hole to lock the disc, completely fixing it in the case until it is opened again.
