A single top cap container allows substances (eg, supplemental protein powder) to be filled into the container and discharged from the container via the same mouth opening. The finish hole can be sized like a funnel (ie, sized to have an opening of a funnel-like size) so that the finish hole can fit into a standard water or beverage bottle opening. The finish aperture can also be sized to have a wider mouth opening that readily allows the container to be filled and emptied from the same top opening of the container (ie, the finish aperture). A single top cap is removably attached to the finish portion via threads positioned on the inner circumference of the finish cap and the outer circumference of the finish portion. A single top cap may be removably attached to the base portion via other mechanisms including, but not limited to, snaps and clips.
