Background technique

The kaleidoscope is a time-honored optical toy that captivates with its varied images. Generally speaking, the observer can only observe the image formed in the kaleidoscope through the eyepiece of the traditional kaleidoscope, and the image is small in size and limited to be displayed in the kaleidoscope. US Patent No. 4,077,706 discloses a projection kaleidoscope, which projects images displayed in the kaleidoscope to the outside of the kaleidoscope. However, such as only projecting the image in the kaleidoscope to the outside of the kaleidoscope needs to be improved.

Figure 1 is a schematic diagram of images displayed in a general kaleidoscope. When such an image is projected outside the kaleidoscope, images with different brightness will be observed in practice, and relatively low brightness will occur at multiple junctions 1 of the imaging. Perhaps, ordinary people would think of using a higher-brightness light source to solve the above-mentioned low-brightness problem, but a higher-brightness light source cannot effectively improve the low brightness of junction 1, and a higher-brightness light source will consume more energy. The lack of performance does not meet the energy-saving design.

The light emitted by the light source 14 passes through the rotated pattern sheet 36 to generate changing patterns. Moreover, since the body 12 and the lens barrel 52 are detachable, the user can easily take out the rotating member 32 and replace the pattern sheet 36 therein, so that the purpose of the kaleidoscope projection device of the present invention can replace the pattern sheet 36.

Also, the light-transmitting sheet 38 can also include a pattern, which is distributed on the entire light-transmitting sheet 38 or its local area. In this way, through the overlapping combination of the patterns of the light-transmitting sheet 38 and the pattern sheet 36, the collocation The relative movement of the two during rotation can form a variety of changing patterns. In the first embodiment, the light-transmitting sheet 38 and the pattern sheet 36 are circular sheet-shaped positive film patterns, and the size of the light-transmitting sheet 38 is larger than the pattern sheet 36, but the shape of the light-transmitting sheet 38 and the pattern sheet 36 in the utility model is the same as The size relationship is not limited thereto. When the rotating member 32 rotates, the light-transmitting sheet 38 can be consistent with the rotating member 32 because it is fixed on the rotating member 32; The movement of the sheet 36 may not coincide with that of the rotating member 32, thus increasing the variety of pattern changes. It can be understood that a plurality of pattern sheets 36 can be accommodated in the accommodation space 325 , which can also increase the variety of pattern changes.

It can be understood that the light emitted by the light source 14 can pass through the diffusion sheet 34, the pattern sheet 36 or the light-transmitting sheet 38 and then arrive outside the kaleidoscope projection device to project the pattern sheet 36. Therefore, the diffusion sheet 34, the pattern sheet 36 or the light-transmitting sheet 38 are all transparent. Secondly, the diffuser 34 is arranged at a position adjacent to the light source 14, which diffuses the light emitted by the light source 14, increases the uniformity of light passing through the pattern sheet 36 and the light-transmitting sheet 38, and then increases the reflective refraction passing through the lens barrel 52. The light uniformity of the optical component 50 improves the projection effect of the traditional projection kaleidoscope, makes the brightness of the intersection of the projected pattern and other positions uniform, and optimizes the quality of projection. In the first embodiment, the diffuser 34 , for example but not limited to, can be formed on a transparent substrate such as PET by coating or rolling to make an irregular structure on the surface.

It should be noted that those in the know may think that the disadvantage of low brightness at the junction when projecting a kaleidoscope can be improved by increasing the brightness of the light source. However, in terms of the manufacturing cost and usage cost of the kaleidoscope projection device, it is not economical to use a high-power light source to produce high brightness; and in practical applications, it has also been observed that the use of a high-brightness light source cannot effectively improve the projection The low-intensity junction of the pattern. Therefore, the utility model adopts the setting of the diffusion sheet, which not only takes into account energy saving, but also optimizes the quality of the projected pattern. In addition, the diffuser is placed closest to the light source, so that the light is homogenized before passing through the gobo. This effect can improve the low brightness at the junction when projecting a kaleidoscope compared to other positions. Moreover, since the size of the handheld projection device must conform to the convenience of the user's hand-holding, the size of the kaleidoscope projection device results in very limited space for installing components inside. location, ease of assembly, and more. Therefore, although the present invention adopts the method of adding components, it takes into account the installation, position and convenience of assembly of the diffuser, and achieves the purpose of optimizing the quality of the projected pattern.

On the other hand, in the limited space 127 provided by the main body 12 , a reflective cover 16 may also be provided around the LEDs of the light source 14 to increase the amount of light passing through the diffuser 34 . Secondly, in order to provide the power required by the light source 14, power supply components such as primary or secondary batteries (not shown in the figure) can also be placed in the space 127 .

60。FIG. 5 is a schematic view of the appearance of the embodiment of the second kaleidoscope projection device of the present invention. The kaleidoscope projection device includes a lens barrel 72 , a projection assembly 60 , a motor 62 and a body 42 , wherein the projection assembly 60 and the motor 62 are located between the lens barrel 72 and the body 42 . Secondly, a power switch 48 is provided on the main body 42 , turning on the power switch 48 can make the electric component 62 rotate, and then rotate the projection component 60 .

Fig. 6 is a three-dimensional view of the projection assembly and the electric part of the second embodiment of the kaleidoscope projection device of the present invention, and Fig. 7 is another perspective view of the projection assembly and the electric part of the embodiment of the second kaleidoscope projection device of the present invention A three-dimensional view, FIG. 8 is a partial three-dimensional view of the projection assembly and the electric part of the second embodiment of the kaleidoscope projection device of the present invention. 5, 6, 7, 8, the projection assembly 60 includes a light-transmitting box, which includes first and second covers 603, 601 and side walls 605, and the first and second covers 603, 601 and side walls 605 jointly define an accommodating space 607 . In the second embodiment, the pattern sheet 66, the first and second covers 603, 601 are all circular and light-transmittable, and the radius of the first and second covers 603, 601 is larger than that of the pattern sheet 66, so the patterns The piece 66 is movably and replaceably placed in the accommodating space 607 . In addition, when the first cover 603 is located on a side adjacent to the light source (not shown in the figure) in the main body 42, the first cover 603 can be a diffusion sheet, so that the light emitted by the light source in the main body 42 passes through the first Cover 603 after homogenization. Another option is that a diffusion sheet (not drawn on the figure) and pattern sheet 66 are placed in the accommodating space 607, wherein the size of the diffusion sheet is equivalent to that of the first cover 603, so it is placed in the accommodating space 607 The diffuser will not move in the light box. Optionally, a diffusion sheet (not shown in the figure) is disposed on the body 42 and interposed between the light-transmitting box and the light source. Moreover, the second cover 601 can be like the light-transmitting sheet of the first embodiment, which can not only transmit light, but also include light-transmitting patterns distributed on the entire second cover 601 or a partial area thereof.

Secondly, the electric assembly 62 includes a driving part 622, a rotating part 624 and a supporting part 626, wherein the driving part 622, the rotating part 624 and part of the supporting part 626 are accommodated in the body 42, and the supporting part 626 can be connected to the body 42 cover. Moreover, the driving member 622 , such as a motor, can drive the rotating member 624 to rotate, and the side wall 605 of the projection assembly 60 that is in contact with the rotating member 624 can rotate accordingly, thereby driving the projection assembly 60 to rotate. In addition, the projection assembly 60 of the light-transmissive box is rotatably disposed on the supporting member 626 , and the supporting member 626 is provided with cover notches 621 , 623 . The positions of the cover notches 621 and 623 correspond to the light sources in the main body 42, so that the light emitted by the light source in the main body 42 passes through the cover notch 623, the diffusion sheet (not shown in the figure), the pattern sheet 66, and the cover notch 621 in sequence. and the catadioptric mirror in the lens barrel 72 , the light is emitted from the lens 64 of the catadioptric mirror to the outside of the kaleidoscope projection device 3 .
