降温治疗是一种临床上常见的物理降温疗法，物理降温（冷疗法）包括局部冷疗法和全身冷疗法。局部冷疗法包括冰袋、冰囊、冰帽、冰槽、冷湿敷法和化学致冷袋等。全身冷疗法现在大多采用电动降温毯或降温治疗仪进行物理降温。而在进行全身冷疗法时，有时病人体质较为虚弱，尤其是心脏部位不能较好的适应冷疗法，使得治疗不能顺利进行，且存在安全隐患。
