被子是床上用品的一种，是面积足以覆盖人体、长方形的布料，一般用作睡眠时保持温暖。被子通常由被套或者被单包着棉絮而成，用棉做的被子叫做棉被。除棉被外，也可以用羊毛、蚕丝，或者丙烯酸纤维等人造纤维制造。
随着科技的发展，在子炎热的夏天夜晚我们都会开着空调睡觉，一般只需要保护腹部不受凉，上半身及腿部掩盖就可以。由于传统的被子整体都是同一材料，没有厚薄分层，夏天使用时保证腹部不活受凉但是上半身会嫌热出汗，时常将被子掀掉造成感冒等情况。

本实用新型的目的是提供一种新型的局部保暖被，它结构简单，分层是结构，在被子中上部增加了保暖夹层，保证可腹部不受凉的同时有使上半身不会嫌热出汗，避免了嫌热着凉感冒。
