本实用新型的目的是这样实现的：一种带钉子锁定装置的锤子，包括锤头和手柄，手柄内有空腔，末端有开口，开口处盖有堵盖，其特征是：锤头前端开有凹槽，凹槽内倾斜安置有压板，压板通过轴与锤头连接，压板的尾端在锤头后部跷起，跷起部位下端有弹簧，弹簧安置在锤头的凹孔内。
使用时，按压压板尾端，使压板前端从凹槽内升起，在凹槽内放入钉子，松开压板尾端，压板前端下压，将钉子夹在锤头上，敲击锤子，钉子和锤子一同下砸，将钉子部分砸进固定物，由于此时钉子已经被初步固定，不需要再用手握持，即可继续用锤头敲击钉子，直至完全钉牢固。
通过实施本实用新型，不必再用手握持钉子，避免了锤头容易敲击到握持钉子的手指，同时，锤子增加了存储钉子功能，钉子不易丢失。
