上肢残疾病人是我们生活中的弱势群体，他们的日常生活需要我们更多的关怀，随着科学技术的飞速发展，触摸屏设备在我们的日常生活中起到了越来越大的作用，而电容屏以其较优良的性能占得比例越来越大。这其中不乏有很多的上肢残疾病人在用他们的脚操作电容屏设备，鉴于电容屏的工作原理，上肢残疾病人即使是在冬天也只能赤脚操作电容屏，这样会很冷，甚至使上肢残疾病人脚冻伤。针对这种现状，迫切需要生产一种可支持电容屏操作的五指袜，但目前市场上没有这种设备。
