人的一生有三分之一的时间都在睡觉，充足的睡眠是健康生活的保证，枕头在睡眠中扮演者必不可少的角色。随着生活水平的提高，人们对生活质量的要求也越来越高，为了迎合不同使用者的需求，市面上出现了各种各样的枕头，有竹枕、棉枕、记忆海绵枕、乳胶枕等，竹枕头主要是在夏季使用，具有软硬适中、透气凉爽等优点。普通的竹枕头功能单一，只具有凉爽效果，不具备磁疗保健作用。
磁疗是以磁场作用于人体治疗疾病的方法，磁场影响人体电流分布、荷电微粒的运动、膜系统的通透性和生物高分子的磁矩取向等，使组织细胞的生理、生化过程改变，产生镇痛、消肿、促进血液及淋巴循环等作用。
