本实用新型的目的是以如下方式实现的：该试管包括玻璃试管体，另有一个能塞住试管体上口的试管塞，有一个套在试管体上的连接环，试管塞与连接环之间连有连接带。用试管体存放液体或固体物料时，将试管塞塞住试管体上口构成一个密闭容器，里面的物料不会撒落，打开试管塞后，试管塞由于通过连接带、连接环与试管体连接在一起，试管塞不会丢失，在对试管加热时，可以将连接环从试管体上取下。
本实用新型由于对玻璃试管增加了试管塞，可以使玻璃试管成为密封容器，便于试管存放实验或检验用品，扩展了玻璃试管的用途，给实验室和化验室带来了方便。
