由于在外柄套上设有凹块使刨丝器具有防滑功能，由于在内柄上设有小刀使刨丝器具有切瓜果功能；在刨体上设有刨丝孔使刨丝器具有刨丝功能；在刨体上设有削片刀口使刨丝器具有削片功能；在刨口上设有锯齿使刨丝器具有切割冻肉功能。
