由于本实用新型的插座在导线上设置有干簧管，在插头上设置有磁铁；利用了干簧管遇到磁性物质可以使电路接通的原理，使导线只有在具有磁铁的插头插入的情况下，才接通；插头拔出时，即使手伸入插座内部，也不会触电；有效地防止了触电事故的发生。
