Abstract

本实用新型公开了一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体(10)及若干导电端子(20),该绝缘本体(10)设有沿配接方向延伸的配接部(12)及与配接部相交设置的板接部(11),配接部(12)上设有若干沿配接方向延伸且贯穿配接部与板接部的端子收容槽(121),上述导电端子(20)收容在该收容槽(121)内,所述板接部(11)设有支撑部(111),该支撑部用于支撑电路板(6)。

【技术领域】
本实用新型涉及一种电连接器,尤其涉及一种降低配接方向厚度的电连接器。
【背景技术】
目前,小型化是电连接器的发展趋向,特别是应用在内部空间较小的携带有存储设备的电子设备中的电连接器。中国专利ZL200720034229.2揭示了一种线缆连接器组合,其包括绝缘本体及若干固定在绝缘本体内的端子,该端子延伸出绝缘本体后端并向下弯折形成焊接脚,一块转接电路板收容在焊接脚与绝缘本体后端之间并且与焊接脚相焊接,这样,整个连接器组件在配接方向上的厚度就会因为电路板与端子焊接脚的位置关系而增加,因而无法适用在较小空间内。因而有必要提供一种电连接器以解决上述问题。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型的主要目的在于提供一种电连接器,其沿配接方向的厚度较小,适用于狭小的安装空间。
为了实现上述目的,本实用新型采用以下技术方案:一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体及若干导电端子,该绝缘本体设有沿配接方向延伸的配接部及与配接部相交设置的板接部,配接部上设有若干沿配接方向延伸且贯穿配接部与板接部的端子收容槽,上述导电端子收容在该收容槽内,所述板接部设有支撑部,该支撑部用于支撑电路板。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型电连接器具有如下有益效果:电连接器在板接部上设置有支撑部,在电路板安装时该支撑部用以支撑电路板且使电路板贴近板接部,从而可有效减小电连接器在配接方向上的厚度。

【具体实施方式】
如图1和图2所示,本创作电连接器组合包括电连接器1、固定在电连接器1后端的电路板6、与电路板6电性连接的线缆4、固定线缆4一端的固定件5和包覆电连接器后端的盖体3。盖体3与电连接器1共同将电路板6与线缆4收容于其中。
如图2所示,电连接器1包括纵长的绝缘本体10及若干固定在绝缘本体内的导电端子20。绝缘本体10包括设有两个配接端口120以与对接连接器配接的配接部12及与印刷电路板6相连接的板接部11。本实施方式中配接端口120为符合Serial ATA标准的电源与信号传输接口。配接部12呈纵长形,设有与对接连接器相配接的配接方向(沿箭头A所示)及与配接方向垂直的纵长方向(沿双箭头B-B所示)。板接部11呈长方形,配接部12沿配接方向自板接部11垂直延伸出。配接部12上设有若干端子槽道121,其贯穿配接部12前端面及板接部11后端面。导电端子20沿纵长方向排布于槽道121内,借助两侧形成的倒刺(未标号)固定在绝缘本体10上。端子20包括位于配接部12内并延伸至配接端口120内以与对接连接器相配接的对接部21和延伸出板接部11后端面以焊接在电路板6的焊接孔61内的焊接部22。当然,在其他实施例中,端子焊接部22也可为表面安装型(SMT)以平面焊接于印刷电路板。
如图3和图4所示,绝缘本体10的板接部11的后端面沿纵长方向设有凸肋状的支撑部111,支撑部111垂直凸伸出板接部11的后端面以在电路板6安装时起到支撑作用。支撑部111与端子槽道121分别位于板接部11的垂直方向上的两侧(板接部11的垂直方向如双箭头C-C所示),且支撑部111在纵长方向上的长度与板接部11相当。电路板6沿配接方向安装至绝缘本体的板接部11,其一侧抵靠在支撑部111上,由于电路板6的厚度较绝缘本体的支撑部111的厚度小,电路板6安装后并不会在配接方向上增加电连接器1的厚度。电路板6的另一侧则通过与端子焊接部22的焊接而固定在板接部11上,这样,电路板6与板接部11就贴合在一起。当然,在其他实施例中,板接部11可以在垂直方向上分别设两个相互平行的支撑部111以夹持电路板6于其间。
如图4所示,在电路板6安装至绝缘本体的板接部11后,其沿纵长方向的一端延伸出板接部11并与一线缆4电性连接,同时,一固定件5卡扣在线缆4上。如图3所示,固定件5为长方形状,其一侧垂直凸伸出两相互平行的延伸部51,延伸部51在相同的一端设有开口52用以收容线缆4上形成的突出部41。
如图2所示,盖体3包括上壁31、下壁32和连接上、下壁的侧壁30。上、下壁之间形成一收容空间来收容电连接器1的板接部11,上、下壁上还面对面设置有细长的狭槽33。盖体3自电连接器1的一端沿纵长方向滑入连接器1的板接部11,板接部11的上下边缘上沿垂直方向设置的凸肋112收容在狭槽33内,从而将盖体3固定在板接部11上,同时,电路板6、线缆4与固定件5被夹持在盖体3与电连接器1之间,从而形成一线缆连接器组合,如图5所示。

Claims (9)

1.一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体及若干导电端子,该绝缘本体设有沿配接方向延伸的配接部及与配接部相交设置的板接部,配接部上设有若干沿配接方向延伸且贯穿配接部与板接部的端子收容槽,上述导电端子收容在该收容槽内,其特征在于:所述板接部设有支撑部,该支撑部用于支撑电路板。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述配接部与所述板接部一体成型。
3.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述支撑部为凸肋状且与板接部垂直。
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述支撑部厚度较电路板厚度大。
5.如权利要求4所述的电接器,其特征在于:所述配接部与板接部呈纵长状,所述支撑部与所述板接部在纵长方向上长度相当。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述导电端子包括延伸出板接部的焊接部,该焊接部与所述支撑部相对设置。
7.如权利要求6所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述支撑部分别位于所述端子的焊接部两侧,电路板收容在支撑部之间并且与导电端子电性连接。
8.如权利要求7所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述电路板在纵长方向上延伸出所述支撑部。
9.如权利要求1至8项中任一项所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述配接部设有符合Serial ATA标准的配接端口。
