Abstract

本实用新型公开了一种同轴微电缆用转接头,其用于将同轴微电缆连接至同轴连接器形成机械与电气上的结合。本实用新型包括一可接纳绝缘材料层的柱形件;及一可导电的插销可接纳细小的同轴微电缆中心导体以提供足够的刚性,且转接头插入同轴微电缆连接器的轴向导槽中,并在插销的分裂部与中心导体间提供附加的压合力量,迫使分裂部紧密的卡合在中心导体上。本实用新型无需焊接及压合就可使同轴微电缆与同轴微电缆连接器稳固接合。

同轴微电缆用转接头
技术领域
本实用新型涉及一种同轴微电缆用转接头,可使同轴微电缆与同轴连接器简易的完成安装,并确保机构及信号传递的质量。
背景技术
在信号传输的运用上,对于传导信号的同轴电缆而言,通常是以连接地点间的距离、信号频率、所需的最大弯曲半径以及在特定的传输和/或接收装置内可容许的空间来决定选用的标准。一般而言,使用的同轴电缆越长,频率越高,就需要越大的外径,以防止过多信号损失。传统应用于诸如有线电视,宽带信息以及微波信号传输等方面的同轴电缆,其传输距离在501000呎的范围,外径为0.251时。在室内传输距离需求较短的设备(约624时),可藉由使用外径0.1-0.14时等较小的同轴电缆,以克服局促的空间及弯曲半径的限制。此类较小外径的同轴微电缆需与一标准同轴连接器成为结合,如图1所示,显示目前同轴微电缆连接技术的情况,此处所使用的”同轴微电缆”一词,意谓一种中心导体直径大于0.1mm而小于0.8mm的同轴电缆,例如RG179。先前技术中的同轴微电缆10具有一外皮层11,一编织导体12,一绝缘材料层13及一中心导体14。标准同轴连接器15包含一内部导体16,一插销17可装入连接器的轴向导槽,并与内部导体16成为机械与电气上的连结。插销17末端内部设有一圆柱形凹孔18。依据先前技术,该插销17系焊接于剥除外皮层11的中心导体14上。此种焊接方式,需要电力以及干净明亮的工作场所来进行接合作业。组合完成时,微电缆的外皮层11可藉由一传统挤压工具压合于连接器15上。
综上所述,目前需要一种免焊接的装置,使微电缆的中心导体与标准同轴电缆连接器能稳固接合。
实用新型内容
本实用新型所要解决的技术问题是,针对现有技术不足,提供一种简易且不需焊接的同轴微电缆用转接头,使同轴微电缆剥除外皮的中心导体与标准同轴电缆连接器能稳固接合。
为解决上述技术问题,本实用新型所采用的技术方案是:一种同轴微电缆用转接头,用于将同轴微电缆连接至同轴连接器形成机械与电气上的结合,该同轴微电缆具有一外皮层、一编织导体、一绝缘材料层及一中心导体,该同轴微电缆被剥除外皮层,使绝缘材料层及中心导体露出部分长度,该转接头包括:一柱形件,设有一管状部,内部设有一第一收容孔及一第二收容孔,该第一收容孔可接纳该同轴微电缆的绝缘材料层;及一可导电的插销,具有一环形部与该柱形件的第二收容孔结合,及一分裂部与该同轴微电缆的中心导体套接;当该分裂部受到径向挤压,迫使分裂部紧紧的与中心导体卡合。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型的有益效果是:本实用新型藉由转接头使被剥除外皮的中心导体具有足够刚性,并无需焊接就可使细小的单线或绞线中心导体首先以微小力量插入转接头内,再将转接头推入连接器本体的内部导体中,使分裂部受到径向压缩力量而与中心导体紧密接合,这样就简化了生产工序,进一步降低了生产成本。
下面将对实用新型的结构、操作方式以及目的与优点,藉由参考下列的叙述及附图,进行详细介绍。

具体实施方式
如图2及图3所示,本实用新型同轴微电缆用转接头20包括有一柱形件21及一可导电的插销30。已知的同轴微电缆10(如图6)具有一外皮层11,一编织导体12,一绝缘材料层13及一中心导体14。
图4的剖面图表示柱形件21的一例。柱形件21可由非导电材料制成,具有一管状部22,其内部界定一第一收容孔23及一第二收容孔24通往第一收容孔23。第一收容孔23的直径尺寸使其能接纳同轴微电缆10的中心导体14及绝缘材料层13。第一收容孔23的终端形成有一斜坡25。
图5的剖面图表示可导电的插销30的一例。插销30包含一环形部31及一分裂部(segments)32。环形部31配置于柱形件21的第二收容孔24周围边缘成为稳固的结合,环形部31界定一孔33。分裂部32具有多数切割有一定宽度的槽(slots)34。
图6至图8显示安装转接头20于同轴微电缆10上且与标准同轴连接器40连接的方法。同轴连接器40可为F型、BNC型、RCA型、IEC型等连接界面,本实施例以RCA型的同轴连接器来做说明,该同轴连接器40包括一连接器本体41及一套筒48。连接器本体41具有一轴圈42,轴圈42的内部设有一轴向导槽43,导槽43的终端设有一锥形孔44。连接器本体41更包含有一内部导体45,内部导体45的末端内部设有一圆柱形凹孔46,凹孔46的末端具有一斜面47。套筒48具有一内部通孔可接纳同轴微电缆10且折回编织导体12在套筒48前端的锥形表面51,以露出部分长度的绝缘材料层13及中心导体14。
此时,将同轴微电缆10插入转接头20,使绝缘材料层13被推入柱形件21的第一收容孔23内,而中心导体14被推入插销30的分裂部32内,如图7所示。
最后,将连结有转接头20的中心导体14插入于连接器本体41的轴向导槽43中,而套筒48与连接器本体41间可藉由螺纹机构或传统的连接方法使其相互结合,该螺纹机构具有一外螺纹49形成在套筒48上,及一内螺纹411形成在连接器本体41的末端与外螺纹49相对应;当插销30的分裂部32完全进入内部导体45的斜面47时,该分裂部32受到如图8所示箭头’X’方向的径向施力而卡住中心导体14,如此,转接头20将固定于中心导体14上且与内部导体45产生良好的导电接触。由于,连接器本体41与套筒48间相关的尺寸,最后的结合将使锥形孔44催迫编织导体12与套筒48的锥形表面51紧密结合以保证可靠的电气连接,及使同轴微电缆10具有足够的拉拔力。
如图9及图10所示,本实用新型转接头20可预先安装在连接器本体41内部以供剥除外皮层11的中心导体14插入结合。它们的零组件和图2至图8一样被一一标示出来。转接头20更包含有一外凸缘部26容纳在导槽43中,而该管状部22则容纳在锥形孔44,导槽43与锥形孔44之间形成有一肩部50,该外凸缘部26受到肩部50的限制,可防止转接头20自导槽43滑出。该转接头20以可滑动方式容纳在导槽43中,当中心导体14完全插入转接头20时,可施加一推力使转接头20沿横向自第一位置位移至第二位置,直到插销30的分裂部32完全进入内部导体45的斜面47为止,此时,分裂部32受到如图11所示箭头’X’方向的径向施力而卡住中心导体14,如此,转接头20将固定于中心导体14上而可导电。
总而言的,本实用新型克服了已用技术的缺点,并提供一种藉由转接头使被剥除外皮的中心导体具有足够刚性。此细小的单线或绞线中心导体首先以微小力量插入转接头内,再将转接头推入连接器本体的内部导体中,使分裂部受到径向压缩力量而与中心导体紧密接合。
虽然本实用新型的特定实施例已经图解说明于前,但是对于熟知本项技艺的人士而言,其它各种可轻易达成的变化或修改,皆明显不脱离本实用新型的精神。

Claims (7)

1.一种同轴微电缆用转接头,用于将同轴微电缆连接至同轴连接器形成机械与电气上的结合,该同轴微电缆具有一外皮层、一编织导体、一绝缘材料层及一中心导体,该同轴微电缆被剥除外皮层,使绝缘材料层及中心导体露出部分长度,其特征在于该转接头包括:
一柱形件,设有一管状部,内部设有一第一收容孔及一第二收容孔,该第一收容孔可接纳该同轴微电缆的绝缘材料层;及
一可导电的插销,具有一环形部与该柱形件的第二收容孔结合,及一分裂部与该同轴微电缆的中心导体套接;当该分裂部受到径向挤压,迫使分裂部紧紧的与中心导体卡合。
2.如权利要求1所述的同轴微电缆用转接头,其特征在于,该分裂部具有多数切割有一定宽度的槽。
3.如权利要求1所述的同轴微电缆用转接头,其特征在于,该同轴连接器包含一连接器本体,其具有一内部导体及一轴向导槽,该内部导体的末端内部具有一圆柱形凹孔及一斜面,该斜面可在分裂部提供附加的压合力量以形成径向压缩。
4.如权利要求3所述的同轴微电缆用转接头,其特征在于,该柱形件更包含有一外凸缘部以可滑动方式设置在该连接器本体的轴向导槽中,该绝缘材料层可推动柱形件,使分裂部进入内部导体的斜面。
5.如权利要求4所述的同轴微电缆用转接头,其特征在于,该柱形件的外凸缘部可沿横向自轴向导槽的第一位置位移至第二位置,使分裂部卡合于中心导体。
6.如权利要求3所述的同轴微电缆用转接头,其特征在于,该同轴连接器更包括一套筒可接纳该同轴微电缆,该套筒与连接器本体之间藉由一螺纹机构使其相互结合。
7.如权利要求6所述的同轴微电缆用转接头,其特征在于,该导槽的末端具有一锥形孔,而套筒的前端具有一锥形表面与锥形孔相对应,锥形孔催迫编织导体与锥形表面紧密结合以形成电气连接,并使同轴微电缆具有足够的拉拔力。
