Abstract

本实用新型公开一种电连接器,可电性连接芯片模组至电路板,其包括基体、组接于基体的盖体、以及若干导电端子,基体设有上表面、与上表面相对的下表面,基体设有若干贯穿上下表面的端子收容槽以收容导电端子,盖体设有第一、第二表面及连接第一、第二表面的若干侧壁,盖体在对应基体上端子收容槽的位置设有若干贯穿第一、第二表面的贯穿孔,其中基体的上表面向上延伸有若干不连续的凸块,导电端子至少有部分超出基体的上表面。本实用新型电连接器基体上凸块之间的间隙能够增加通风效果,进而增强散热效果。

【技术领域】
本实用新型关于一种电连接器,尤指一种电性连接芯片模组至电路板的电连接器。
【背景技术】
用以电性连接芯片模组至电路板的电连接器一般包括基体、盖体、驱动件、端子等,基体中设有若干贯穿其上下表面的端子收容槽,盖体组接于基体的上表面且可相对基体适当滑移,盖体上对应基体上端子收容槽的位置设有若干贯穿孔以供芯片模组的针脚通过,提供驱动作用的驱动件收容于基体与盖体之间的适当位置。驱动件驱动盖体相对于基体滑移,使芯片模组的针脚通过盖体上的贯穿孔插入基体上的端子收容槽中,且与端子接触,由此达成电性连接。相关现有技术可参考美国专利公告US6,340,309、US6,431,900,以及中国大陆专利公告第2501204号、第CN2588065号等。
随着芯片模组性能的提高,其对散热的需求逐渐增加,然而上述类型的电连接器,其电性连接芯片模组至电路板时,端子封闭在塑胶基体中,因此容易造成端子区散热不良,进而影响芯片模组的正常工作。
因此,确有必要提供一种改进的电连接器,以克服上述类型的电连接器存在的缺陷。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型要解决的技术问题是提供一种可增加通风散热效果的电连接器。
为解决上述技术问题,本实用新型提供一种电连接器,其包括基体、组接于基体的盖体、以及若干导电端子,基体设有上表面、与上表面相对的下表面,基体设有若干贯穿上下表面的端子收容槽以收容导电端子,盖体设有第一、第二表面及连接第一、第二表面的若干侧壁,盖体在对应基体上端子收容槽的位置设有若干贯穿第一、第二表面的贯穿孔,其中基体的上表面向上延伸有若干不连续的凸块,导电端子至少有部分超出基体的上表面。
与相关现有技术相比,本实用新型电连接器的基体的上表面向上延伸有若干凸块,导电端子至少有部分超出基体的上表面,电连接器电性连接芯片模组至电路板时,凸块之间的空隙可以增加通风效果,进而增强电连接器的散热效果。

【具体实施方式】
如图1至图3所示,本实用新型电连接器1,可电性连接芯片模组(未图示)至电路板(未图示),其包括基体10、盖体11以及若干导电端子12。
基体10设有与盖体11相对的上表面100以及与上表面100相对的下表面101,基体10设有若干贯穿其上、下表面100、101的端子收容槽(未标号),端子收容槽在纵向延伸的第一方向(图1中箭头M所示方向)及与第一方向垂直的第二方向上呈矩阵设置,导电端子12收容于端子收容槽中,且导电端子12至少有部分超出基体10的上表面100。基体10的上表面100向上延伸有若干不连续的凸块103,至少在第一方向上,成列的相邻端子收容槽之间设置有若干不连续的凸块103,这些凸块103实际上形成阻绝相邻成列端子收容槽的隔栏。基体10上的若干凸块103的高度相同。
盖体11组接于基体10上,其设有承接芯片模组的第一表面110、与第一表面110相对的第二表面111,以及连接第一、第二表面110、111的若干侧壁112,盖体11上对应端子收容槽的位置设有若干贯穿第一、第二表面110、111的贯穿孔113。侧壁112在对应于基体10上凸块103之间的空隙的位置凹设有若干凹槽114,且该凹槽114贯穿了盖体11的第一、第二表面110、111。
若干导电端子12对应容置于基体10上的端子收容槽中,该导电端子12包括主体120、自主体120延伸的焊接部121以及自主体120延伸而出的一对端子臂122。主体120大致呈平板状,其于竖直方向延伸,其上设有至少一个固持部1200。焊接部121及两端子臂122自主体120于同侧沿水平延伸,其中焊接部121自主体120的下端延伸而出,所述一对端子臂122自主体120两侧对称延伸而出。端子臂122包括自主体120一侧延伸的延伸部1221、自延伸部1221上端弯折延伸的弹性臂1222以及自弹性臂1222末端延伸的接触部1223,其中,弹性臂1222自延伸部1221上端起朝向另一端子臂122延伸而成,而所述接触部1223自延伸部1221的末端向上沿平行于主体120延伸方向延伸而成。芯片模组的针脚插入到两接触部1223之间,从而使电连接器1与芯片模组之间建立电性导接。
本实用新型电连接器1的基体10的上表面100向上延伸有若干凸块103,导电端子12至少有部分超出基体10的上表面,电连接器1电性连接芯片模组至电路板时,凸块103之间的空隙可以增加通风效果,进而增强电连接器1的散热效果;盖体11的侧壁112上设有若干凹槽114,且所述凹槽114与基体10上其中若干凸块103之间的间隙对应,从而可增加通风效果,进而增强电连接器1的散热效果。

Claims (6)

1.一种电连接器,可电性连接芯片模组至电路板,其包括基体、组接于基体的盖体、以及若干导电端子,基体设有上表面、与上表面相对的下表面,基体设有若干贯穿上下表面的端子收容槽以收容导电端子,盖体设有第一、第二表面及连接第一、第二表面的若干侧壁,盖体在对应基体上端子收容槽的位置设有若干贯穿第一、第二表面的贯穿孔,其特征在于:基体的上表面向上延伸有若干不连续的凸块,导电端子至少有部分超出基体的上表面。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述基体上的端子收容槽呈矩阵设置。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述矩阵设置的端子收容槽设有第一方向及与该第一方向垂直的第二方向,至少在第一方向上,成列的相邻端子收容槽之间设置有凸块。
4.如权利要求1或3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述基体上的若干凸块高度相同。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述盖体的侧壁在对应于基体上凸块之间的空隙的位置凹设有若干凹槽。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述凹槽贯穿盖体的第一、第二表面。
