Abstract

The invention relates to a fixture according to the preamble of claim 1 , comprising parts such as mixer taps, temperature controllers, possible regulators or controllers and the like, and used in shower installations or the like.

Background technique

In previously known methods the above-mentioned parts are usually fastened directly or arranged as an insert in the wall or in a single column of a shower installation such as a shower cubicle or the like. This means first of all a lot of complicated installation work. Furthermore, when the above-mentioned parts are installed, its disassembly, for example during maintenance or repair, requires the entire installation to be disassembled, which is costly and time-consuming. This is of course also the case with regard to the installation of conventional faucets or showers connected to bathtubs or the like.

The object of the present invention is to obtain a fastening device which avoids the above-mentioned disadvantages and which is simple to manufacture and flexible to use. This requirement is met by the sealing device according to the invention, the main features of which are given in claim 1 .

The invention is based on obtaining a substantially separately manufactured fastening device which, if necessary, can be easily attached and detached. The device is arranged to connect the aforementioned parts to a releasably fastened fastening plate arranged to be fastened to an opening in a fastening seat such as a wall or a pillar. Additionally fastening connectors are provided for releasable connection to respective water mains and/or electrical connectors. In this way, the above-mentioned parts and the connectors connected thereto can be easily disassembled for maintenance, such as cleaning the water filter, or removing the fixing plate for repair. The above parts can be easily reinstalled by re-fixing the fixing plate including the connector on the fixing base.

Conveniently, the fixing plate can be made of a rigid material such as aluminum plate, whereby the fixing plate can at the same time receive fasteners to fix it to the fixing base. The advantages of aluminum sheet are easy processing, light weight and corrosion resistance. Of course, the fixing plate can be manufactured from other correspondingly suitable materials.

To simplify installation of the mounting plate, the mounting plate may receive fasteners for engaging the interior surface of the mounting base. The advantage is that the fixing plate can be easily positioned in this way and inserted directly into the correct position of the fixing base.

The fastening plate is preferably provided with a seal, which can be, for example, an injection-molded sealing element around the fastening plate. This results in a reliable seal without any additional measures.

The fixing plate is preferably provided with a grip which acts as a resting surface and/or as a hanger hook, in other words as a shelf with handle and a possible means for hanging soap, shampoo bottles, cleaning brushes and the like. Such a grip can also serve as a support handle when one is exercising in a slippery bathroom such as a shower or the like. Furthermore, such a grip simplifies handling and fixing of the fastening device.

The grip can be arranged independently of or attached to the fixation plate and its fixation device independently, which, for example, makes it possible to use different grips as required. In this case, the grip is preferably configured to receive the fastener in order to fasten the grip and the fixing plate to the fixing base. Furthermore, the handle is preferably provided with a fixing member capable of firmly abutting the fixing plate against the fixing base.

The grip can also be fixed to the fixing plate. This fixing grip simplifies handling of the fixing plate. In this case the grip is preferably configured to receive a fastener to fasten the grip and the fixing plate to the fixing base.

If one does not want to use the grip, the fixed plate itself must be provided with fasteners to secure the fixed plate to the fixed base.

The grip can of course also be fastened separately to the fastening plate.

Suitable fastening means in the above-mentioned examples are eg bolts or threaded means to allow easy fastening and dismounting.

The shower cabin is indicated with the reference number 1 in FIG. 1 . The shower enclosure is installed in a corner of a wet room, such as a bathroom. The remote corner of the shower enclosure contains a pillar 2 consisting of a fixed base, in which a fixing device 3 consisting of a releasably mounted fixing plate 4 is mounted, and parts such as a mixer tap, temperature controller, regulator or controller or similar .

FIGS. 2 , 2 a and 2 b show different embodiments of a fixing device comprising a fixing plate 4 detached from the support 2 , or more precisely from the opening 10 in the support 2 . Example 3a includes mixer taps 5, 6 and shower connector 7; embodiment 3b includes mixer taps 5, 6 and steam regulator 8; embodiment 3c includes mixer taps 5, 6, shower connector 7, steam regulator 8 and Electric controller9. For these embodiments, the grip 12 is releasable relative to the fixed plate 4 . The handle 12 is provided with a handle area 15 in the form of a shelf.

Fig. 3 shows in more detail how the fixing device 3a including the fixing plate 4 and the handle 12 and the connectors connected thereto are arranged. This figure shows the side of the fixing device 3a ready to be installed towards the opening containing the mixer taps 5, 6 and the shower connector 7 arranged in the fixing plate according to FIG. 2 . The connectors in this example comprise hot and cold water pipes 18 and 19 connected to distribution pipe 22 by respective coupling means, such as threaded connectors 20 and 21 . By detaching from the opening 10 of the column 2 the fixing plate 4 comprising the devices 5, 6, 7, the water pipes 18 and 19, the connectors 20 and 21 and the distribution pipe 22 and e.g. the filters and seals connected thereto are all easily maintained, repaired and replaced. Furthermore, as in the embodiment shown in Figures 2a and 2b, the connectors may contain steam devices, electronic equipment, etc., which in turn require monitoring to some extent, with the fixing device according to the invention, which monitoring is described in terms of way can be easily realized.

As shown in Figure 4, the grip 12 has the form of a receiving surface or shelf. The fastening plate 4 shown is detachable from the opening 10 in the strut 2 . Furthermore, the fixing plate is provided with fastening means such as screw means 13 , 14 to fasten the fixing plate at the opening 10 of the column 2 .

In FIGS. 2 , 3 , 5 and 6 the fixing plate 4 also includes fasteners 11 which are placed on the edge of the opening 10 ready to engage the inner surface of the post 2 . The fastening element 11 simplifies the installation of the fixing plate 4 at the opening 10 of the column 2 and also fastens the fixing plate at the opening 10 interacting with the grip 12 and the threaded means 13, 14 connected thereto, these threads The device is shown in Figures 2, 4 and 6 in the unclamped state.

The fixing plate 4 is preferably provided with a sealing device 17 intended to obtain a secure connection between the fixing plate 4 and the opening 10 of the column 2 . The seal is preferably injection molded according to the fixing plate and the opening. The seal is only shown in Figure 2a, however, it should be understood that a seal 17 is used in all the embodiments shown.

The fastening device can of course also be used without a grip, whereby the fastening plate is provided with suitable fasteners for fastening the fastening plate at the opening of the post. Additionally the grip may come in different forms to suit different applications. The use of fixtures is not limited to shower enclosures, but can also be used in other corresponding installations, such as bathtubs, sinks and sinks, etc.

Fixtures for shower installations or the like comprising parts (5, 6, 7, 8, 9), such as mixing taps, temperature controllers, regulators or controllers or the like, characterized in that the fixtures (3 ; 3a; 3b; 3c; 3d) includes a detachably mounted fixing plate (4) and the above-mentioned parts (5, 6, 7, 8, 9) connected thereto, the fixing device (3; 3a; 3b; 3c ;3d) comprising means (20, 21) releasably and fixedly connected to parts (5, 6, 7, 8, 9) for connecting water mains, electrical connectors and the like, the fixing plate (4) being arranged to fix In the opening (10) of a fixed base, such as a wall or a column for connecting a shower. 2. Fastening device according to claim 6, characterized in that the handles (12, 15) have fastening elements (16) for fastening the fastening plate (4) to the fastening base (2). 8. Fixing device according to claim 5, characterized in that the grip (12) is fixed relative to the fixing plate (4). 9.
