Abstract
本发明涉及基于容易生物降解的矿物油的生物降解涂布组合物。本发明还涉及该涂布组合物用于涂布塑料模制品、纤维或纱线的用途。具体地说,该涂布组合物在进一步加工用该涂布组合物涂布的弹性聚氨酯纤维或加工由该纤维生产的织物的过程中显示出优越性。
Description
本发明涉及基于容易生物降解的矿物油的生物降解涂布组合物。本发明还涉及该涂布组合物用于涂布塑料模制品、纤维或纱线的用途。具体地说,该涂布组合物在进一步加工用该涂布组合物涂布的弹性聚氨酯纤维或加工由该纤维生产的织物的过程中显示出优越性。例如,在该织物或纤维在染色前在拉幅机框架中定型过程中或在水洗过程中不会有污染环境的物质排放到大气中或废水中。
对本发明来说,术语“纤维”包括短纤维和/或长丝,这些纤维可以通过本身已知的纺丝工艺生产,例如通过干纺或湿纺和熔体纺丝等工艺生产。
从由至少85%基于例如聚醚、聚酯和/或聚碳酸酯的多链段聚氨酯合成的长链合成聚合物制造的弹性聚氨酯纤维是纺织工业中常用的弹性纤维。由这种纤维制成的纱线适用于生产弹性织物、机织纺织品或材料,而这些织物或材料又特别适用于紧身胸衣、长袜和运动服,例如游泳衣或游泳裤。
为了使纤维表面适应进一步加工成纺织品的条件,该纤维通常要用表面处理剂即所谓的涂布油剂进行处理。例如,为了改善弹性纤维在纺纱机中的可加工性,就要给该纤维提供涂布油剂。
在生产织物或机织纺织品或材料的过程中,例如在加工阶段,如水洗、热定型或染色过程中,会有各种组分如低聚物或稳定剂从该聚氨酯纤维中溶解出来,并排放到环境中或废水中。在典型的弹性纺织品加工工艺中,涂布油剂也会从该聚氨酯纤维中被洗出来。用于涂布聚氨酯纤维的涂布油剂通常是基于聚二烷基硅氧烷或矿物油的涂布剂。这些涂布剂公开于例如下列专利中:US 3 296 063、US 3 039 895、US5135575、US 4 296 174、US 3 039 895、US 3 717 575,JP 188 875、JP 9 188 974和JP 60-67442。根据这些先有技术,目前最常使用的涂布油剂是各种聚二甲基硅氧烷或其混合物或含有各种聚二甲基硅氧烷的分散体。所述这类涂布油剂有很大的缺点,即它们不是可生物降解的。如果将它们排放到自然环境中,它们就会在环境中到处积累。因此在某些情况下,必须在水处理之前将织物或纤维在后处理过程释放出来的涂布油剂从废水中分离出来,因为这些油剂在排放物处理装置中的生物纯化阶段中是不能降解的,或者说仅仅这样做是不够的。
美国专利5,569,408提出了一种解决合成纤维涂布油剂生物降解能力问题的途径,公开基于碳酸聚酯的水溶性生物降解软化剂。然而,该专利文献中所述的软化剂的一个缺点是其粘度太高。因此,聚氨酯纤维无法成功采用传统的涂布方法,如用涂布辊的方法时就无法成功地对聚氨酯纤维进行涂布。
本发明的目的是提供一种用于容易生物降解纤维,尤其聚氨酯纤维的涂布剂,这种涂布剂很容易用已知的涂布方法进行施涂。意图在于确保在生产聚氨酯纤维并将其加工成织物的过程中,没有任何不能生物降解因而可能会在自然环境中积累的涂布油剂会从该纤维释放出来排入大气或废水中。意图还在于提供一种涂布油剂,这种油剂与先有技术所用的产品,例如聚二甲基硅氧烷相比,显示出没有在纤维,例如聚氨酯纤维加工过程中由于,例如,纤维在纺织机中的粘附作用而产生的缺点。
按照本发明这个目的是通过用有效量的易生物降解矿物油涂布聚氨酯纤维而实现的。这种基于易生物降解矿物油的涂布剂任选地还含有用于聚氨酯纤维的涂布油剂中的传统添加剂,而且是以适当的形式从外面施涂到弹性纤维上的。
本发明提供一种用于涂布纤维,尤其弹性纤维的可生物降解涂布组合物,该组合物含有可生物降解的矿物油,其粘度为2.5-100mPa·s(20℃),优选2.5-50mPa·s(20℃),密度为790-880kg/m3(15℃),优选805-860kg/m3(15℃),以及粘度/密度常数(VDC)为0.770-0.810,优选VDC为0.775-0.805,特别优选VDC为0.775-0.800。
本涂布组合物中所用矿物油的生物降解能力例如可用OECD 301(经济合作与发展组织)的试验方法测定。粘度/密度常数(VDC)按照DIN51378测定。
由于使用易生物降解的矿物油来涂布聚氨酯纤维的结果,在聚氨酯纤维的生产和进一步加工过程中,如水洗、热定型或染色过程中,没有会在自然环境中积累的涂布油剂从聚氨酯纤维中释放出来排入大气中或废水中。
可用作聚氨酯纤维涂布油剂的易生物降解矿物油可以含有添加剂或添加剂混合物,如先有技术中传统使用的那样。这样的添加剂包括,例如,润滑剂、抗静电剂、防腐剂、脱泡剂、防止聚氨酯纤维在生产和加工过程中发生沉积的各种添加剂等。
润滑剂是加入到易生物降解矿物油中的优选添加剂,尤其饱和或不饱和脂肪酸的金属盐。相对于整个涂布组合物而言,润滑剂的含量可高达15%(重量),优选可高达5%(重量),特别优选可高达3%(重量)。高级脂肪酸,尤其硬脂酸、棕榈酸或油酸的Li、Na、K、Al、Mg、Ca或Zn盐是优选的。特别优选的脂肪酸金属盐是硬脂酸铝、硬脂酸钙、硬脂酸锂、硬脂酸镁、硬脂酸锌、棕榈酸镁或油酸镁。将脂肪酸的金属盐结合到易生物降解矿物油中的方法以及有关细分散体的生产方法与基于聚二甲基硅氧烷的涂布油剂的生产方法相同,可以采用研磨法,例如美国专利5135575中所述的方法,或者采用预沉淀法,象例如日本专利JP 60-67442中所述的方法。
优选的的涂布组合物另外还含有可高达15%(重量),优选0.05-5%(重量),特别优选0.1-3%(重量)的抗静电剂。
阳离子、阴离子和/或非离子化合物可加入到该易生物降解的涂布剂中用作抗静电剂。有关可能的抗静电剂的研究可参阅R.Gchter和H.Mler著的《Kunststoffadditive》一书,Carl Hanser VerlagMunich,第3卷,1990,第779-805页。阳离子抗静电剂的例子是季铵化脂肪胺、羧酸的铵盐等形式的铵化合物,例如日本专利JP 09-111657中所述的那些化合物,或者季铵化脂肪酸三乙醇胺酯盐,例如已公开的专利申请DE 4 243 547 A1中所述的那些化合物。阴离子抗静电剂可以是例如磺酸或磷酸的盐类,如专利文献EP 0 493 766、WO 95/11948、WO 94/15012或JP 09 049 167中所述的那些化合物。非离子型抗静电剂化合物可以是例如脂肪酸酯或磷酸酯,或烷氧基化聚二甲基硅氧烷,如专利文献WO 93/17172、JP 95006134或EP 0643159中所述的那些化合物。阳离子和阴离子化合物作为抗静电剂比非离子化合物更有效。抗静电剂结合到易生物降解矿物油中及常常有关的细分散体的生产可按照上述研磨法或预沉淀法等方法在任何所要求的时刻进行。
更优选的抗静电剂是下面通式(1)所示的二烷基磺基琥珀酸酯盐:式中
R1和R2相互独立,可以相同或不同,代表氢或含1-30个碳原子的烷基,优选含4-18个碳原子的烷基,
M+是H+、Li+、Na+、K+或NH4 +。
二烷基磺基琥珀酸酯盐的生产可按参考文献C.R.Carly,Ind.Eng.Chem.,第31卷,第45页,1939,中所述的方法进行。
尤其优选的二烷基磺基琥珀酸酯盐是二异丁基磺基琥珀酸酯钠、二辛基磺基琥珀酸酯钠、二己基磺基琥珀酸酯钠、二戊基磺基琥珀酸酯钠和二环己基磺基琥珀酸酯钠。
特别优选的二烷基磺基琥珀酸酯盐是二辛基磺基琥珀酸酯钠和二己基磺基琥珀酸酯钠。
一类非常特别优选的二烷基磺基琥珀酸酯盐是二辛基磺基琥珀酸酯钠。
如果添加剂(例如润滑剂、抗静电剂)能溶于该易生物降解涂布油剂中,则该添加剂可以以所要求的量加入,而且将该涂布油剂搅拌直到形成均匀混合物为止。
在选择要加入到易生物降解矿物油中的添加剂时必须注意确保所选择的添加剂不会产生与该易生物降解矿物油的作用相反的作用。例如,必须能保持该涂布油剂的易生物降解能力和低粘度。
由于该易生物降解矿物油的粘度低,所以该涂布剂可采用本身已知涂布方法,例如采用涂布辊的方法施涂到聚氨酯纤维上。然而,上面以举例方式列举的添加剂的加入,可以意味着最终涂布剂呈分散体或乳液形式。在这种情况下,使用平均粒度<20μm并能防止沉降的分散体或乳液是有利的。为了防止涂布剂体系中的固体成分在涂布剂加工过程中产生沉降和有关的沉积,还可以将涂布剂体系进行这样的改进,即采用连续循环使涂布油剂处于运动中。
本发明也提供按照本发明的涂布组合物用于涂布从聚合物制造的模制品或纤维、长丝或纱线,尤其弹性纤维、长丝或纱线,优选聚氨酯纤维的用途。
聚氨酯组合物或聚氨酯纤维可以含有用于各种目的的各种不同的添加剂,例如平光剂、填料、抗氧剂、染料、着色剂、耐热、耐光、耐紫外辐射及耐蒸汽的稳定剂。这些添加剂是以这样的方式按比例加入到纤维中的,即它们不会产生与从外部施涂的基于易生物降解矿物油的涂布组合物的作用相反的作用。
本发明也提供一种涂布纤维、长丝或纱线,尤其聚氨酯纤维的方法,该方法包括将本发明的涂布组合物施涂到纤维、长丝或纱线的表面上。
本发明的易生物降解涂布组合物是例如采用涂布辊施涂的,相对于纤维(长丝或纱线)而言,涂布量为0.5-15.0%(重量),优选为1.5-10.0%(重量),特别优选为2.5-8.0%(重量)。如果易生物降解涂布组合物施涂到纤维表面的量小于0.5%(重量),则当纤维以小于80分特的总线密度进行纺丝时,例如,聚氨酯纤维的粘附作用就变得太严重。由于粘附作用和在聚氨酯纤维的进一步加工过程中所形成的纤维断裂的结果,纺织织物的生产会更加困难,尤其当丝卷贮存时间较长或贮存温度较高时更是如此。如果施涂到聚氨酯纤维上的易生物降解涂布剂的量超过15.0%(重量)则在生产和加工过程中由于涂布油剂的溅射和滴下会严重污染机器,因此也是不可取的。
聚氨酯纤维较好的是用本发明的涂布组合物进行涂布,这种纤维由多链段聚氨酯聚合物,例如基于聚醚、聚酯、聚醚酯、聚碳酸酯的那些聚合物构成。这种纤维可采用本身已知的方法,例如按照US 2929804、US 3097192、US 3428711、US 3553290和US 3555115以及WO9309174等文献中所述方法进行生产。此外,聚氨酯纤维还可以由热塑性聚氨酯构成,其生产方法描述于例如US 5565270文献中。所有这些聚合物均可用本发明的涂布组合物来软化,以确保在生产例如紧身胸衣、内衣或运动服的过程中有良好的可加工性。
已经发现,与使用基于聚二甲基硅氧烷的涂布剂的聚氨酯纤维相比,无论是在涂布组合物(涂布剂)的生产过程中,还是在用本发明的基于易生物降解矿物油的涂布剂生产的聚氨酯纤维的生产或加工过程中都没有碰到任何技术上的缺点。实施例1说明基于易生物降解矿物油的涂布剂与基于聚二甲基硅氧烷的涂布剂的比较。也可以得到基于易生物降解矿物油和固体润滑剂的呈分散体形式的涂布剂,所述分散体具有小于2μm的平均粒度分布和良好的防沉降性。此外,使用基于易生物降解矿物油的涂布剂时,即使在较高温度贮存后也不发生聚氨酯纤维的粘附现象。还有,当所得到的聚氨酯纤维在自动织袜机上加工成长袜时,实际上没有由于例如纤维钩在机器上而造成的机器停车时间。尤其还发现,在基于易生物降解矿物油的涂布油剂中加入少量二烷基磺基琥珀酸酯金属盐,尤其二辛基磺基琥珀酸钠后,即使经长期试验后,涂布剂系统中或涂布辊上均没有从该分散液中产生的固体物沉积。结果,花在清理涂布剂系统的劳力就较少,而且可以避免例如涂布油剂从贮罐通到涂布部位的给料管线的堵塞现象。此外还发现,在基于可生物降解矿物油的涂布油剂中加入少量的金属磺基琥珀酸盐,可以大大降低用该油剂涂布的聚氨酯纤维的电阻。由于该金属磺基琥珀酸盐具有高效的抗静电作用,所以聚氨酯纤维在例如通过经向针织法加工成纺织织物的过程中可以避免产生静电。
与使用按照先有技术的软化剂相比,本发明的用于聚氨酯的新型易生物降解涂布油剂在将该涂布剂施涂到聚氨酯纤维上及进一步加工成织物方面的优点是明显的。结果,由于这种易生物降解矿物油(可以降解),因此不会释放出会积累在大气中或废水中的涂布油剂。
聚氨酯,也包括多链段聚氨酯,原则上具体由分子各端含有羟基且分子量为600-4000克/摩尔的线型均聚物或共聚物,例如聚醚二醇、聚酯酰胺二醇、聚碳酸酯二醇、聚丙烯酸类二醇、聚硫酯二醇、聚硫醚二醇、聚羧酸二醇来制造,或由这类聚合物的混合物或共聚物来制造。此外,该聚氨酯特别基于有机二异氰酸酯和含有2个或多个活泼氢原子的链增长剂,例如二元醇和多元醇、二胺和多胺、羟基胺、肼类化合物、多肼化合物、聚氨基脲、水或这些化合物的混合物。
下面叙述的试验方法用来测量上述讨论的各参数。
在涂布剂为分散体形式的情况下,粒度分布用一台MastersizerM20,Malven测试仪,通过激光衍散和激光扫描测定。粒度在10%、50%和90%体积百分数分布时以微米(μm)表示。
涂布剂的粘度用一台Haake CV 100型粘度计在20℃温度和300秒-1的条件下测定。
在涂布剂为分散体形式的情况下,沉淀行为用下述方法测定:将100ml涂布油剂放入一个测量量筒中,测定3天和10天后离析相的比例。如果甚至在10天后澄清相仍小于20%,则说明达到了防沉淀的良好稳定化作用。
聚氨酯纤维导电率的变化用DIN 54345中所述体积电阻测定法测定。
涂布系统中的沉积仅对呈分散体形式的那些涂布油剂进行测量。因此,涂布油剂要在一个长时间的试验中不间断地施涂到聚氨酯纤维上达14天之久。试验终了时测定从分散体中沉积到涂布剂系统中的固体量。沉积出的固体量越大,说明涂布剂越差,因为此时必须更频繁地清洗涂布剂系统及其管线和涂布辊,以便例如防止涂布剂施涂不均匀或聚氨酯纤维生产工艺的中断。
纤维在卷筒上的粘附力用下述方法测定:在纤维上悬挂一个重物,然后测量当纤维能自身从卷筒上退卷下来时该重物的重量。用该方法所测定的粘附力是所生产的丝卷的可加工性的一种度量。如果粘附力太高,则由于纤维的钩挂使得进一步加工成织物会变得更加困难。在40℃这个较高温度下贮存8周后测定粘附力,可以描述一个老化过程,而且是在室温下经过较长时间贮存之后粘附力变化的一种度量方法,丝卷先在40℃的加热箱中在60%相对大气湿度的条件下贮存,然后按上述方法测定粘附力。
聚氨酯纤维与作为第二成分的聚酰胺纤维(比例为20∶80)一起在自动织袜机上进行加工,以600米/分钟的加工速度生产长统袜,加工周期2小时,记下纤维断头的次数。因此对在自动织袜机上的加工性进行评估就是用不同涂布油剂软化过的聚氨酯纤维可加工性质量的一种度量。
下面通过实施例说明本发明,但这些实施例并不限制本发明,下面所有百分数均涉及聚氨酯纤维的总重量。
实施例
在本实施例中聚氨酯组合物是从由平均分子量为2000克/摩尔的聚四氢呋喃(PTHF)构成的聚醚二醇生产的。这种二醇是用亚甲基双(4-苯基二异氰酸酯)(MDI)以1∶1.8摩尔比封端的,然后在二甲基乙酰胺溶剂中用乙二胺(EDA)和二乙基胺的混合物进行链增长。用这种方法生产出的多链段聚氨酯的固体含量是30%(重量)。该聚氨酯脲溶液的粘度为120Pa·s(50℃),聚合物的特性粘度为0.98克/分升(在25℃,用浓度为0.5g聚合物/100ml MDAc的DMAc溶液测定)。
在进行干纺工艺之前,将下列添加剂加入到聚氨酯脲溶液中:(a)1.0%1,3,5-三(4-叔丁基-3-羟基-2,5-二甲基苄基)-1,3,5-三嗪-2,4,6-(1H,3H,5H)-三酮(Cytec公司的Cyanox1790),(b)0.05%二氧化钛,(c)0.15%硬脂酸镁和(d)0.15%多烃氧基改性的聚二甲基硅氧烷(OSI Specialties公司的Silwet L7607)。
加有添加剂的纺丝溶液通过典型干纺设备中的喷丝板进行纺丝,形成线密度为17分特(dtex)的单丝。该聚氨酯纤维以900米/分钟的速度进行卷绕。
各实施例中所用的纤维涂布剂组合物描述于表1,涂布剂用粒度分布、粘度和沉降性能来表征。
含有硬脂酸镁的涂布剂用预沉淀法生产。为此,在135℃将硬脂酸镁、二硬脂基四氧化乙烯磷酸酯和/或二辛基磺基琥珀酸酯钠溶解在相对于涂布剂重量而言10%(重量)矿物油中。该热溶液迅速倒入到在20℃温度进行搅拌的其余涂布油剂中。
粒度分布、粘度及沉降性能的测定结果表明基于易生物降解矿物油的涂布油剂可以配制成可与基于聚二甲基硅氧烷的涂布油剂相比的形式,而且能给出稳定的分散体。全部涂布油剂都显示出非常好的粒度分布、低粘度和非常好的沉降性能。

表1中所列出的涂布油剂以相对于聚氨酯纤维重量的4%的量用涂布辊进行施涂。表2列出了有关经过14天的长期试验后在涂布剂系统中、在管线中和在涂布辊上形成沉积的结果,有关在高温下贮存一段时间后粘附力增大的结果,以及有关在自动织袜机上的可加工性的结果。
很明显,在基于易生物降解矿物油的呈分散体形式的涂布剂中加入二辛基磺基琥珀酸酯钠后,大大降低了聚氨酯纤维的电阻。这说明了二辛基磺基琥珀酸酯钠作为抗静电剂的效果。
与涂布剂1相比,用涂布剂2和4涂布的聚氨酯纤维的电阻较高,这可用下述原因解释:所使用的磷酸酯具有高度的疏水性以及涂布剂以分散体的形式存在。
此外,也很明显,由于在基于易生物降解矿物油的呈分散体形式的涂布剂,如涂布剂3,中加入了二辛基磺基琥珀酸酯钠,因此即使在经过14天时间的试验后也没有观察到固体物从涂布剂离析出来沉积到涂布剂系统中。对粘附力增大和在自动织袜机上的加工性的评估结果也表明基于易生物降解矿物油的涂布剂与基于聚二甲基硅氧烷的涂布剂这两者之间没有什么差别。
上述实验充分证明:基于易生物降解矿物油的涂布剂适用于涂布聚氨酯纤维。

Claims (12)
1.一种用于涂布纤维,尤其弹性纤维的可生物降解涂布组合物,该组合物含有可生物降解的矿物油,其粘度为2.5-100mPa·s(20℃),优选2.5-50mPa·s,密度为790-880kg/m3(15℃),优选805-860kg/m3(15℃),以及粘度/密度常数(VDC)为0.770-0.810,优选VDC为0.775-0.805,特别优选VDC为0.775-0.800。
2.按照权利要求1的涂布组合物,其特征在于除了矿物油之外该组合物还含有可高达15%(重量),优选可高达5%(重量),特别优选可高达3%(重量)的润滑剂,尤其高级饱和或不饱和脂肪酸的金属盐。
3.按照权利要求2的涂布组合物,其特征在于该润滑剂是高级脂肪酸,尤其硬脂酸、棕榈酸或油酸的Li、Na、K、Al、Mg、Ca或Zn盐。
4.按照权利要求3的涂布组合物,其特征在于该润滑剂是硬脂酸铝、硬脂酸钙、硬脂酸锂、硬脂酸镁、硬脂酸锌、棕榈酸镁或油酸镁。
5.按照权利要求1-4中任何一项的涂布组合物,其特征在于该涂布组合物另外还含有可高达15%(重量),优选0.05-5%(重量),特别优选0.1-3%(重量)的抗静电剂。
6.按照权利要求5的涂布组合物,其特征在于该抗静电剂是阳离子型、阴离子型或非离子型抗静电剂。
7.按照权利要求6的涂布组合物,其特征在于该抗静电剂是选自铵类化合物的阳离子型抗静电剂、选自磺酸盐或磷酸盐的阴离子型抗静电剂或选自脂肪酸酯或磷酸酯或烷氧基化聚二甲基硅氧烷的非离子型抗静电剂。
8.按照权利要求6的涂布组合物,其特征在于该抗静电剂是下面通式(1)所示的二烷基磺基琥珀酸酯基:其中
R1和R2相互独立,可以相同或不同,代表氢或含1-30个碳原子的烷基,优选含4-18个碳原子的烷基,
M+是H+、Li+、Na+、K+或NH4 +。
9.按照权利要求8的涂布组合物,其特征在于该二烷基磺基琥珀酸酯盐选自包含下列化合物的这一组:二异丁基磺基琥珀酸酯钠、二辛基磺基琥珀酸酯钠、二己基磺基琥珀酸酯钠、二戊基磺基琥珀酸酯钠和二环己基磺基琥珀酸酯钠。
10.按照权利要求1-9中任何一项的涂布组合物用于涂布从聚合物制造模制品的用途。
11.按照权利要求1-9中任何一项的涂布组合物用于涂布纤维、长丝或纱线,尤其弹性的纤维、长丝或纱线,优选聚氨酯纤维的用途。
12.一种涂布纤维、长丝或纱线,尤其聚氨酯纤维的方法,包括将按照权利要求1-9中任何一项的涂布组合物施涂到尤其新纺制的或拉伸的纤维、长丝或纱线的表面上,其中相对于纤维重量而言,该涂布组合物的施涂量是0.5-15%(重量),优选1.5-10.0%(重量),特别优选2.5-8.0%(重量)。
