Abstract

The invention allows bulk transport of non-gaseous hydrocarbon products once they have been loaded without waiting for them to solidify. The preexisting container insulation provides additional insulation from air trapped within the container and from the outer shell of the tank (20). As a result, reheating non-gaseous product can be avoided since heat losses are minimal. Meanwhile, the temperature of the container (10) loaded with the articles is ambient temperature, so that the container (10) can be transported in the existing manner. The present invention is therefore not only safe to use but also can achieve energy efficiencies and cost savings not possible with prior art appliances and methods.
