Disclosure of Invention
Problems to be solved by the invention
In the case of attaching the slide fastener described in patent document 1 to a product such as clothing or luggage, for example, in a state where a fastener tape of a fastener stringer is overlapped with a member to be attached with a slide fastener (for example, a cloth of clothing) of the product, the fastener tape and the member to be attached with the slide fastener are sewn by a sewing machine.
In conventional sewing, a fastener tape and a fastener attaching portion of a member to which a fastener is attached are generally introduced between a needle plate of a sewing machine and a presser foot of the sewing machine in a state of being overlapped with each other, and the fastener tape and the fastener attaching edge portion are sewn. In this case, considering the positional relationship between the sewing machine presser and the sewing machine needle and the fastener elements of the fastener stringer at the time of sewing, it is necessary to reciprocate the sewing machine needle of the sewing machine up and down at a position of the fastener tape separated from the fastener elements in the tape width direction to pierce the fastener tape. As a result, the sewn portion of the sewing thread that sews the fastener tape and the member to which the fastener is to be attached is formed at a position separated from the fastener element in the tape width direction, and therefore, the fastener tape is arranged so as to be exposed to the outside between the fastener element and the member to which the fastener is to be attached.
In this way, when the fastener tape is exposed between the fastener element and the member to which the fastener is attached, in order to provide at least water resistance to a product with the fastener, not only the cloth of the product as the member to which the fastener is attached but also the fastener tape needs to have water resistance as in patent document 1. However, since special equipment and materials are required for imparting water resistance to the fastener tape, there is a problem that the manufacturing cost increases and the manufacturing process becomes complicated.
In addition, in products to which a slide fastener is attached, the slide fastener is sometimes regarded as one of the elements of the product design. Therefore, in order to improve the design and appearance quality of a product with a zipper, it is sometimes required to make the zipper tape of the zipper invisible or hard to see.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object thereof is to provide a product with a slide fastener that can easily sew a fastener tape and a member to which the slide fastener is attached, and that can improve water resistance and design and appearance quality by preventing or suppressing exposure of the fastener tape between fastener elements and the member to which the slide fastener is attached.
[ Means for solving the problems ]
In order to achieve the above object, a slide fastener product according to the present invention includes a fastener stringer in which a plurality of fastener elements are provided at predetermined intervals along a tape longitudinal direction, and a member to which a slide fastener is to be attached, the member having a pair of fastener tape attaching flanges to which a pair of fastener stringers are attached, respectively, at positions opposed to each other, wherein the fastener stringer is attached to the fastener tape attaching flanges by a sewn portion formed by a sewing thread, the fastener tape attaching flanges have a double-layer portion bent in a letter U shape in a cross section orthogonal to the tape longitudinal direction, the double-layer portion has a1 st strip portion arranged separately from the fastener tape in the cross section, a bent portion extending from the 1 st strip portion and having a bent shape, and a 2 nd strip portion extending from the bent portion and arranged overlapping the 1 st strip portion, a portion of the sewn portion being sandwiched between the 1 st strip portion and the 2 nd strip portion, the double-layer portion being arranged apart from the bent portion and having a plurality of fastener elements arranged close to the fastener element regions in contact with the fastener elements.
In the product with a slide fastener according to the present invention, it is preferable that the bending portion is disposed separately from the sewn portion and is disposed in contact with the fastener element.
In this case, it is preferable that at least a part of the fastener tape and the 2 nd tape portion in the region between the folded portion and the sewn portion are bonded.
Further, it is preferable that the bending portion is formed in a shape capable of holding bending of the bending portion by heat treatment.
Further, it is preferable that the sewn portion is disposed so as to be separated from the fastener element by a separation distance of 0.5mm or more and 10.0mm or less in the tape width direction of the fastener tape.
In the double-layer portion, the dimension of the fastener tape in the tape thickness direction from the outer surface of the 1 st tape portion to the outer surface of the 2 nd tape portion is preferably 0.25mm or more and 5.0mm or less.
In the product with a slide fastener according to the present invention, it is preferable that the bending portion is formed near a formation position of the sewn portion in a left-right direction and is disposed near the plurality of fastener elements, and the sewn portion is disposed apart from the fastener elements by a separation distance of 0.5mm or more and 3.0mm or less in a tape width direction of the fastener tape.
In the above-described product with a slide fastener according to the present invention, it is preferable that each fastener element has a fastener element base portion provided with a portion having a constant dimension in a tape thickness direction of the fastener tape, and a fin portion extending from the fastener element base portion toward a tape inside of the fastener tape and having a dimension in the tape thickness direction smaller than that of the fastener element base portion.
[ Effect of the invention ]
According to the slide fastener product of the present invention, by preventing or suppressing exposure of the fastener tape between the fastener elements and the member to which the slide fastener is to be attached, water resistance can be improved, and designability or appearance quality can be improved.

Detailed Description
The present inventors have filed PCT application (PCT/JP 2022/03020) having a feature in an interlaced part of a sewn part for a fastener tape-attached product manufactured by sewing a fastener tape of a fastener tape to a fastener tape attaching edge part of a member to which a fastener is to be attached. By using the technique described in the PCT application, the sewn portion is brought into contact with the fastener element, and the fastener tape is prevented or suppressed from being exposed between the fastener element and a member (cloth) to which the fastener is to be attached.
In contrast, in the products with slide fastener shown in the following embodiments, even if the sewn portion is not brought into contact with the fastener element, the fastener tape can be prevented or suppressed from being exposed between the fastener element and the member (cloth) to which the slide fastener is to be attached. In addition, the sewn portion formed in the PCT application is formed by a sewing thread including an upper thread and a lower thread of the sewing machine, but in this case, the sewing thread forming the sewn portion may have water repellency. This can further improve the water resistance of the product with a slide fastener.
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings by way of examples.
Example 1
Fig. 1 is a plan view schematically showing a zippered product of this example 1. Fig. 2,3 and 4 are perspective, bottom and cross-sectional views, which are enlarged and schematically illustrate a portion of a zippered product.
In the following description of the slide fastener and the product with the slide fastener, the front-rear direction refers to the direction along the tape length direction of the slide fastener tape, and is the same direction as the sliding direction in which the slider slides (see fig. 1 and 2). In particular, the direction in which the slider is slid when the slide fastener is closed is set to the front, and the direction in which the slider is slid when the slide fastener is opened is set to the rear.
The right-left direction is a direction along the tape width direction of the fastener tape, specifically, a direction orthogonal to the front-rear direction and parallel to the tape front surface and the tape back surface of the fastener tape. The left-right direction may be a direction along a direction in which element rows of the pair of fastener stringers are engaged with and separated from each other. In this case, the direction in which the pair of element rows move so as to approach each other is set to the inward direction in the left-right direction, and the direction in which the pair of element rows move so as to separate from each other is set to the outward direction in the left-right direction (see fig. 3).
The vertical direction is a direction along a direction perpendicular to the tape front surface and the tape back surface of the fastener tape (tape front-back direction), and is a direction perpendicular to the front-back direction and the left-right direction (see fig. 4). The up-down direction is also sometimes referred to as the tape thickness direction. In this case, the direction in which the slider is exposed to the outside when the slide fastener is used (for example, the direction in which the slider is disposed with respect to the fastener tape) is set to be upward, and the direction on the opposite side thereof is set to be downward.
The slide fastener-attached product 1 of this embodiment 1 is, for example, a garment (clothing), and a slide fastener 20 is attached to a front opening portion of a front body of the garment, an opening/closing portion (opening peripheral edge portion) of a pocket portion provided in a chest portion and an abdomen portion of the front body, or the like. The garment 1 with a slide fastener includes a slide fastener 20 having a pair of right and left fastener stringers 21, and a member 10 to which the slide fastener is to be attached, the member having right and left fastener stringer attachment edges 11 to which the right and left fastener stringers 21 are attached.
In this embodiment 1, the member to be attached with the slide fastener 10 to which the slide fastener 20 is attached is a cloth 10 of a garment (also referred to as a clothing cloth). The left and right cloths 10 forming the front body of the garment have opposite side edges 11 arranged to face the cloth 10 on the target side. The opposite side edges 11 of the left and right cloth 10 become fastener tape attaching edges 11 to which fastener stringers 21 of the slide fastener 20 are attached.
In example 1, the left and right cloth 10 provided with the fastener tape attaching edge 11 has at least water resistance. Here, the water resistance refers to a property of inhibiting water from passing through or penetrating the cloth 10. In example 1, the method and means for imparting water resistance to the cloth 10 are not particularly limited. The cloth 10 may be formed without water resistance.
Each of the left and right cloths 10 has a cloth body portion (not shown) and a fastener tape attaching edge portion 11 provided at an end edge portion of the cloth body portion. The fastener stringer 21 is attached to the fastener stringer attaching edge 11 of each cloth 10 by a sewing portion 12 formed of a sewing thread (sewing machine thread).
As shown in fig. 4, the fastener stringer attachment edge 11 of each cloth 10 has a double layer 14 formed by overlapping the cloth 10 of the garment in the vertical direction. By folding back the cloth 10 of the garment at the bending portion 16 along the front-rear direction, the double layer portion 14 of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 11 is formed in a letter U shape in a cross section orthogonal to the front-rear direction. In this case, the double-layered portion 14 is formed in a state of being in contact with a fin portion 23b (2 nd fin portion 25 b) of the fastener element 23 described later.
The double layer portion 14 has, in a cross section orthogonal to the front-rear direction, a 1 st strip portion 15 extending from a cloth main body portion (not shown) toward the inside in the width direction, a bending portion 16 bending while extending from the 1 st strip portion 15, and a 2 nd strip portion 17 extending from the bending portion 16 and overlapping the 1 st strip portion 15 in the up-down direction.
In the double-layer portion 14, the 1 st tape portion 15 is disposed above the 2 nd tape portion 17 so as to be separated from a fastener tape 22, which will be described later, of the fastener stringers 21. The 2 nd tape portion 17 is disposed in contact with the fastener tape 22. The 2 nd tape portion 17 is arranged between the fastener tape 22 and the 1 st tape portion 15 in the up-down direction. The bending portion 16 is disposed at a position separated inward of the slide fastener 20 with respect to the formation position of the sewn portion 12 in the left-right direction and is a position closer to a fastener element 23 described later than the formation position of the sewn portion 12.
The double layer portion 14 has an inner surface where the cloths 10 face each other and an outer surface disposed on the opposite side of the inner surface. In this case, the inner surface of the double layer portion 14 has the lower surface of the 1 st strip portion 15, the inner peripheral surface of the bent portion 16, and the upper surface of the 2 nd strip portion 17. The outer surface of the double layer portion 14 has an upper surface of the 1 st strip portion 15, an outer peripheral surface of the bent portion 16, and a lower surface of the 2 nd strip portion 17. The lower surface of the 2 nd tape portion 17 can also be said to be a tape opposing surface opposing the fastener tape 22.
The sewn portion 12 formed by sewing the fastener stringer attachment edge 11 of the cloth 10 and the fastener stringer 21 is provided in a straight line along the front-rear direction of the fastener tape 22 by sewing with a sewing machine (not shown) (see fig. 3). The sewn portion 12 is formed of a sewn thread including an upper thread (needle thread) and a lower thread (bobbin thread) of a sewing machine. The sewing thread forming the sewing portion 12 may have water repellency.
The linear sewn portion 12 is sewn together the 2 nd strip portion 17 of the double layer portion 14 and the fastener tape 22, thereby fixing the fastener stringer 21 to the fastener tape attaching edge portion 11 of the cloth 10. In the present invention, the sewn portion where the fastener stringer attachment edge portion and the fastener stringer are sewn may be formed to have a portion that is slightly bent or curved inward or outward in the left-right direction.
The sewn portion 12 of the present embodiment 1 is disposed at a position separated from the fastener element 23 on the outer side in the left-right direction (the tape inner side of the fastener tape 22) and also at a position separated from the bent portion 16 of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 11 on the outer side in the left-right direction. At this time, the bent portion 16 of the fastener tape attaching edge 11 is disposed in contact with the fastener element 23, and a portion of the double layer portion 14 between the position of the sewn portion 12 and the position of the bent portion 16 is formed as a flap on the fastener tape 22 in the left-right direction. Thus, a water resistant region is formed between the sewn portion 12 and the fastener element 23.
In this case, the separation distance in the left-right direction between the sewn portion 12 and a fin portion 23b of the fastener element 23, which will be described later, is preferably 1mm or more and 10.0mm or less. By setting the separation distance to 1mm or more, the 1 st adhesive layer 31 described later can be stably provided between the fastener tape 22 and the fastener tape attaching edge portion 11. By setting the separation distance to 10.0mm or less, the width dimension (the dimension in the left-right direction) of the fastener tape 22 and the width dimension of the 2 nd tape portion 17 can be prevented from becoming excessively large. As a result, the manufacturing cost of the slide fastener-equipped garment 1 can be reduced. When the separation distance is more than 10.0mm, it may be difficult to position and bend the bending portion 16 so as to be in contact with the fastener element 23.
A part of the sewn portion 12 of the embodiment 1 is arranged to be sandwiched between the 1 st strip portion 15 and the 2 nd strip portion 17. In other words, a part of the sewn portion 12 is wrapped inside the double layer portion 14 and held. In this case, the portion of the sewn portion 12 sandwiched between the 1 st and 2 nd belt portions 15 and 17 is a portion of the sewn portion 12 disposed above the upper surface of the 2 nd belt portion 17.
In the slide fastener product 1 of this embodiment 1, the 1 st adhesive layer 31 that adheres the fastener tape 22 and the double layer portion 14 is provided between the tape surface (upper surface) of the fastener tape 22 and the lower surface of the 2 nd tape portion 17. The 1 st adhesive layer 31 is preferably provided at least at a position close to the fastener element 23 in the left-right direction between the fastener tape 22 and the 2 nd tape portion 17. For example, in the case of embodiment 1, the 1 st adhesive layer 31 is provided continuously in the left-right direction from the position of the boundary portion between the bent portion 16 and the 2 nd strip portion 17 in the double layer portion 14 (or the vicinity thereof) to the position of the sewn portion 12.
By providing the 1 st adhesive layer 31, the double layer portion 14 (in particular, the 2 nd tape portion 17) of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 11 can be stably fixed to the fastener tape 22, and therefore, the double layer portion 14 can be prevented from being separated from the fastener tape 22 and wound up. As a result, the fastener tape 22 hidden under the double layer portion 14 can be prevented from being exposed to the outer surface of the zipped product 1 (garment) due to the rolling-up of the double layer portion 14. In the present invention, the 1 st adhesive layer may be provided in at least a part of the region sandwiched between the fastener tape and the 2 nd tape portion in the left-right direction.
In this embodiment 1, a 2 nd adhesive layer 32 for adhering the 1 st strip portion 15 and the 2 nd strip portion 17 is provided between the lower surface of the 1 st strip portion 15 and the upper surface of the 2 nd strip portion 17 of the double layer portion 14. By providing the 2 nd adhesive layer 32, the letter U-shape of the double layer portion 14 can be stably maintained.
In the present invention, the material and thickness of the 1 st adhesive layer 31 and the 2 nd adhesive layer 32 are not particularly limited. In the present invention, a product with a slide fastener may be formed without providing the 2 nd adhesive layer between the 1 st tape part and the 2 nd tape part.
The slide fastener 20 of this embodiment 1 includes a pair of right and left fastener stringers 21, the pair of right and left fastener stringers 21 having fastener element rows 26 formed on tape side edges of the fastener tape 22, and a slider 40 slidably attached to the pair of right and left fastener element rows 26. In example 1, left and right fastener stringers 21 are attached to the fastener stringer attaching edge portions 11 of left and right cloths 10 by the above-described sewn portions 12 (see fig. 1 and 2).
In example 1, the slider 40 is formed substantially in the same manner as the slider described in the above-mentioned international publication No. 2011/064893 (patent document 1) or international publication No. 2017/094145. Here, the slider 40 of the present embodiment 1 will be briefly described, and the slider 40 includes a slider body 41 and a tab 45 attached to the slider body 41. The slider body 41 includes an upper blade 42, a lower blade (not shown) disposed parallel to the upper blade 42, a connecting column (not shown) connecting a front end portion of the upper blade 42 and a front end portion of the lower blade, left and right upper flange portions (not shown) extending from left and right side edge portions of the upper blade 42 toward the lower blade, left and right lower flange portions (not shown) extending from left and right side edge portions of the lower blade toward the upper blade 42, and a tab attachment portion 43 integrally formed on an upper surface of the upper blade 42 for attaching a tab 45.
The slider body 41 has a front end provided with left and right shoulder openings through a coupling post. A rear end of the slider body 41 is provided with a rear opening. A substantially Y-shaped element guide path communicating with the left and right shoulder and rear openings is provided between the upper wing plate 42 and the lower wing plate of the slider body 41. A through-gap through which the 1 st fin portion 24b and the 2 nd fin portion 25b of the fastener element 23, which will be described later, pass is provided between the upper flange portion and the lower flange portion of the slider body 41. The penetration gap communicates with the element guide path.
Each of the left and right fastener stringers 21 has a long and narrow fastener tape 22 and a plurality of synthetic resin fastener elements 23 provided on the tape side edge portion of the fastener tape 22. In this case, the fastener element 23 is provided at a tape side edge portion of the fastener tape 22 which is opposed to the fastener element tape 21 as the engagement target.
Each fastener tape 22 includes a tape main body portion 22a having a tape front surface and a tape back surface, and a core thread portion 22b provided at a side edge of the inside of the tape main body portion 22 a. The core wire portion 22b is integrally provided at a side end edge of the belt main body portion 22a along the belt longitudinal direction. The core wire portion 22b is formed to bulge in the up-down direction with respect to the belt main body portion 22 a.
The fastener tape 22 of this example 1 is formed without a waterproof layer for preventing or suppressing the intrusion of water, and is not provided with water resistance. In the present invention, the structure and properties of the fastener tape and the method of forming the fastener tape 22 are not particularly limited, and the fastener tape 22 may have water resistance at least in a part thereof.
A plurality of fastener elements 23 made of synthetic resin are provided at predetermined intervals in the front-rear direction at the tape side edge portions of the fastener tape 22, thereby forming element rows 26. Each fastener element 23 is formed by injection molding synthetic resin to the fastener tape 22. Each fastener element 23 is not connected to another fastener element 23 adjacent in the front-rear direction, and has a shape separate from and independent of the other fastener element 23.
Each fastener element 23 includes at least a fastener element base 23a having a portion with a constant thickness dimension, and a fin portion 23b extending from the fastener element base 23a toward the outside in the lateral direction (in other words, toward the tape inside of the fastener tape 22). The fin portion 23b is formed to have a smaller thickness dimension than the element base portion 23 a. Here, the thickness dimension refers to a dimension in the up-down direction, and the thickness dimension of the element base portion 23a is a dimension in the up-down direction from the upper surface to the lower surface of the element base portion 23 a. The fin 23b has a1 st fin 24b described below on the lower surface side and a 2 nd fin 25b described below on the upper surface side.
By providing the fin portion 23b in each fastener element 23, when the slider 40 is slid along the element row 26, the upper flange portion and the lower flange portion of the slider 40 can be accommodated in and inserted into the gap formed at the outer side in the lateral direction than the step portion between the element base portion 23a and the fin portion 23 b. In this way, when sliding the slider 40, the slider 40 can be made less likely to be caught by the fastener tape attaching edge portion 11 of the cloth 10, and thus the sliding operation of the slider 40 can be smoothly performed.
Describing the shape of the fastener element 23 in more detail, each fastener element 23 includes a 1 st element portion 24 disposed on the tape back surface side of the fastener tape 22 and a 2 nd element portion 25 disposed on the tape front surface side of the fastener tape 22 and having a shape different from that of the 1 st element portion 24. In this case, the 1 st element portion 24 of the fastener element 23 is a portion hidden on the back side of the garment 1 with the fastener. The 2 nd element portion 25 is a portion exposed to the outside of the garment.
Although not specifically shown, the 1 st element portion 24 includes a 1 st main body portion directly fixed to the fastener tape 22, a 1 st fin portion 24b extending outward in the left-right direction from the 1 st main body portion, a neck portion extending inward in the left-right direction from the 1 st main body portion, and an engagement head portion 24a extending further inward in the left-right direction from the neck portion and having a substantially circular shape when viewing the fastener element 23 from the bottom.
The 1 st main body portion has a substantially isosceles trapezoid shape when the fastener element 23 is seen from the bottom (fig. 3). The neck portion has a shape that is narrowed so as to be engageable with the coupling heads 24a of the two fastener elements 23 to be coupled. The 1 st fin portion 24b extends outward in the left-right direction from the 1 st main body portion, and is formed so that the thickness dimension thereof is smaller than the thickness dimension of the 1 st main body portion via the 1 st step portion 24 c. Here, the thickness dimension of the 1 st main body portion refers to the dimension in the up-down direction from the tape back surface of the fastener tape 22 to the lower surface of the 1 st main body portion, and the thickness dimension of the 1 st fin portion 24b refers to the dimension in the up-down direction from the tape back surface of the fastener tape 22 to the lower surface of the 1 st fin portion 24 b.
As shown in fig. 2, the 2 nd element portion 25 includes a2 nd body portion 25a directly fixed to the fastener tape 22, a2 nd fin portion 25b extending outward in the left-right direction from the 2 nd body portion 25a, and a fastener element head portion 25c extending inward in the left-right direction from the 2 nd body portion 25 a. The element head 25c has a shape in which the dimension in the tape length direction decreases in two steps toward the tip end portion of the element head 25c.
The 2 nd fin portion 25b extends outward in the left-right direction from the 2 nd main body portion 25a, and is formed so that the height dimension from the fastener tape 22 is smaller than the height dimension from the fastener tape 22 of the 2 nd main body portion 25a via the 2 nd step portion 25 d.
The lateral end surface of the 2 nd fin portion 25b facing the outer side in the width direction contacts the fastener tape attaching edge portion 11 of the cloth 10. The state where the 2 nd fin portion 25b of the fastener element 23 is in contact with the fastener tape attaching edge portion 11 of the cloth 10 is held by the 1 st adhesive layer 31 formed between the fastener tape 22 and the 2 nd tape portion 17.
By thus maintaining the state in which the fastener tape attaching edge 11 (double layer portion 14) of the cloth 10 is in contact with the 2 nd wing portion 25b of the fastener element 23 by the 1 st adhesive layer 31, the fastener tape attaching edge 11 of the cloth 10 can stably cover the portions of the fastener tape 22 except for a part (specifically, the tape portion of the fastener tape 22 disposed between the fastener elements 23 adjacent to each other in the front-rear direction). Therefore, the fastener tape 22 can be prevented from being exposed in the range between the fastener element 23 in the left-right direction and the member 10 to which the fastener is to be attached.
In the fastener element 23 of embodiment 1, the 1 st fin portion 24b and the 2 nd fin portion 25b have shapes that are symmetrical to each other in the up-down direction with respect to the fastener tape 22. The fin 23b having the 1 st fin 24b and the 2 nd fin 25b is formed to have a thickness capable of being inserted into the through-hole gap of the slider 40. The 1 st step portion 24c and the 2 nd step portion 25d of the fastener element 23 are formed so as to be capable of sliding contact with the upper flange portion and the lower flange portion of the slider 40, respectively.
By providing the 1 st fin portion 24b and the 2 nd fin portion 25b to the fastener element 23, even if the fastener tape attaching edge portion 11 of the cloth 10 is held in contact with the 2 nd fin portion 25b of the fastener element 23 as described above, contact between the upper flange portion and the lower flange portion of the slider 40 and the left and right cloth 10 can be prevented or suppressed when the slider 40 slides along the left and right fastener element rows 26. Thus, the slider 40 can be smoothly slid regardless of the thickness of the cloth 10.
In the present invention, the fastener element may be formed without providing the 1 st fin portion and the 2 nd fin portion. In this case, it is preferable that the fastener element is provided with a concave penetration groove portion for penetrating the upper flange portion and/or the lower flange portion of the slider. By providing such a through groove portion in the fastener element, the slider can be smoothly slid.
Further, by providing each fastener element 23 with the 1 st element portion 24 and the 2 nd element portion 25 as described above, it is possible to prevent water from easily penetrating from the upper surface side to the lower surface side of the left and right element rows 26 in a state where the left and right element rows 26 are engaged. In this case, for example, by providing each fastener element 23 with water repellency, water penetration can be made less likely to occur. In the present invention, the shape of the fastener element is not particularly limited, and the fastener element may have a shape capable of engaging the left and right element rows.
Next, a method of manufacturing the slide fastener-attached garment 1 by attaching the fastener stringer 21 of the slide fastener 20 to the fastener stringer attachment edge portion 11 of the cloth 10 will be described.
In the following description of the sewing machine and the sewing method, the front-rear direction is the conveying direction of the sewing machine, and is the direction along the direction in which the fastener stringers 21 and the cloth 10, which are objects to be sewn, are conveyed. In this case, the direction of the conveyance object is set to the front and the direction of the opposite side is set to the rear. The up-down direction is a direction along a direction in which a needle of the sewing machine reciprocates. In this case, the direction in which the sewing machine needle penetrates the object to be sewn is set to be downward, and the direction in which the sewing machine needle is pulled out from the object to be sewn is set to be upward. The right-left direction is a direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction of the sewing object and orthogonal to the direction in which the sewing machine needle reciprocates.
First, a sewing process (sewing process) of sewing the fastener tape 22 of the fastener stringer 21 and the fastener tape attaching edge 11 of the cloth 10 is performed using a sewing machine as shown in fig. 5. In fig. 5 and 6, the fastener stringer 21 and the fastener tape attaching edge 11 are shown with the upper and lower directions reversed.
As the sewing machine used in the sewing step of the present embodiment 1, a sewing machine is used in which the fastener stringer 21 and the fastener stringer attachment edge 11 are sewn together by a butt seam. In the present invention, the sewing machine used in the sewing step is not particularly limited.
In this sewing step, first, the fastener stringer 21 and the fastener tape attaching edge 11 of the cloth 10 are placed on a needle plate portion (not shown) of the sewing machine in a predetermined positional relationship, and then a sewing machine presser foot (not shown) is lowered, whereby the fastener stringer 21 and the fastener tape attaching edge 11 are sandwiched and held between the sewing machine presser foot and the needle plate. At this time, the fastener tape attaching edge 11 of the cloth 10 is kept in a flat state, and the double-layer portion 14 having a letter U shape is not formed on the fastener tape attaching edge 11. In the sewing step, the positional relationship between the fastener stringer 21 and the fastener tape attaching edge 11 in the up-down direction is not particularly limited.
After the fastener stringers 21 and the fastener tape attaching edge portions 11 are held in a predetermined positional relationship, the fastener stringers 21 and the fastener tape attaching edge portions 11 of the cloth 10 are intermittently conveyed by a conveying mechanism of a sewing machine, and sewing machine needles are reciprocated in the up-down direction in accordance with the timing of the conveyance or the like. Thereby, the sewing machine needle pierces the fastener tape 22 and the fastener stringer attachment edge 11 to perform butt seam. By this butt seam, a linear sewn portion 12 is formed by a sewing machine thread (upper thread and lower thread) in the front-rear direction, and the fastener tape 22 and the fastener tape attaching edge portion 11 are sewn together by the sewn portion 12.
At this time, the linear sewn portion 12 formed of the sewing machine thread is formed at a position separated from the fastener element 23 in the left-right direction. Therefore, compared with a case where a sewing portion is formed at a position where the fastener element contacts, for example, a dedicated conveying mechanism for conveying the fastener element is not required, and thus sewing processing by a sewing machine can be easily performed. In addition, the cost required for the sewing process can be reduced. The sewn portion 12 formed by the sewing is disposed at a position separated from the bent portion 16 of the double-layered portion 14 in the left-right direction when the fastener tape attaching edge portion 11 is bent to form the double-layered portion 14 in a later process.
After the sewing step, a bending step is performed in which the fastener tape attaching edge 11 of the cloth 10 is bent to form the double-layered portion 14.
In this bending step, the fastener tape attaching edge 11 of the cloth 10 is bent so that the 1 st strip portion 15 and the 2 nd strip portion 17 of the fastener tape attaching edge 11 are overlapped up and down. At this time, the fastener tape attaching edge 11 is bent so that the bending portion 16 formed in the double-layer portion 14 contacts the fastener element 23 (particularly, the fin portion 23 b). Thus, the cloth 10 having the fastener tape attaching edge 11 to which the fastener tape 21 is sewn and the double layer portion 14 shown in fig. 6 is formed is produced.
Further, by performing this bending step, a part of the sewn portion 12 is sandwiched between the 1st strip portion 15 and the 2 nd strip portion 17 in the double layer portion 14, and is thus held in a state of being wrapped by the double layer portion 14. Further, the 2 nd strip portion 17 of the double layer portion 14 is disposed above the sewn portion 12 so as to cover the sewn portion 12. Therefore, the sewn portion 12 is hidden by the 2 nd strip portion 17 and is not visible from the upper surface (outer surface) side of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 11.
Next, an adhesive step of applying adhesives 31a and 32a to the cloth 10 with fastener stringers 21 having the double layer portion 14 formed by the bending step is performed to form the 1 st adhesive layer 31 and the 2 nd adhesive layer 32.
In this bonding step, as shown in fig. 6, the adhesive 31a is applied to the upper surface of the fastener tape 22 and/or the lower surface of the 2 nd tape portion 17 to form the 1 st adhesive layer 31. The 1 st adhesive layer 31 fixes the fastener tape 22 and the 2 nd tape portion 17. As the adhesives 31a and 32a, a hot-melt adhesive, a reaction-curable adhesive, or the like is used.
The adhesive 32a is applied to the upper surface of the 2 nd strip portion 17 and/or the lower surface of the 1 st strip portion 15 in the double layer portion 14, thereby forming the 2 nd adhesive layer 32. The 2 nd band portion 17 and the 1 st band portion 15 are fixed by the 2 nd adhesive layer 32. In this case, the order of forming the 1 st adhesive layer 31 and the 2 nd adhesive layer 32 is not particularly limited. In the present invention, the formation of the 2 nd adhesive layer 32 may be omitted.
By performing the sewing step, the bending step, and the bonding step, the cloth 10 having the fastener stringers 21 sewn to the fastener stringer attachment edge portion 11 as shown in fig. 2 to 4 is produced. At this time, the sewn portion 12 where the fastener stringer 21 and the fastener tape attaching edge portion 11 are sewn is covered with the 1 st strip portion 15 of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 11, so that the sewn portion 12 can be made invisible from the outer surface side of the cloth 10.
In example 1, the sewing step, the bending step, and the bonding step are performed in this order as described above. However, in the present invention, the order of performing the sewing step, the bending step, and the bonding step is not particularly limited, and for example, the bending step and the bonding step may be performed before the sewing step.
Thereafter, the cloth 10 with the fastener stringers 21 sewn thereto is combined in a group of two, and the sliders 40 are attached to the element rows 26 of the group of fastener stringers 21, thereby producing the cloth 10 with a fastener. The cloth with a zipper 10 is used to form a garment, thereby manufacturing the garment with a zipper 1.
In example 1, for example, after a garment is formed using two cloth materials 10 to which fastener stringers 21 are sewn, sliders 40 may be attached to two element rows 26 provided on the garment, thereby manufacturing a garment with a fastener.
In the slide-fastener-equipped garment of embodiment 1 manufactured as described above, the sewn portion 12 where the fastener stringer 21 and the fastener tape attaching edge portion 11 are sewn is provided separately from the fastener element 23 in the left-right direction, and the fastener tape 22 and the double layer portion 14 (in particular, the 2 nd tape portion 17) are bonded to each other by the 1 st adhesive layer 31.
Therefore, according to the slide fastener-attached garment 1 of embodiment 1, the double-layer portion 14 can be prevented from rolling up with respect to the fastener element chain 21 by the 1 st adhesive layer 31, and the state (or the state of proximity) in which the double-layer portion 14 is in contact with the fastener element 23 can be stably maintained. As a result, the fastener tape 22 can be prevented from being exposed to the outside from between the fastener element 23 and the member 10 to which the fastener is to be attached.
As described above, in the slide fastener-attached garment 1 of embodiment 1, the substantially entire fastener tape 22 is covered and hidden by the fastener tape attaching edge portion 11 of the cloth 10 from the outer surface side (upper side), so that the exposed portion of the fastener tape 22 can be reduced. Accordingly, the design and appearance quality of the clothing can be prevented or suppressed from being impaired by the exposure of the fastener tape 22, and clothing having excellent design and high appearance quality can be easily manufactured.
In addition, in this embodiment 1, as described above, the exposed portion of the fastener tape 22 can be reduced. A water-resistant region formed by a part (flap) of the double layer portion 14 is provided between the fastener element 23 and the sewn portion 12. Therefore, even when the fastener tape 22 itself does not have water resistance, for example, if the cloth 10 of the garment has at least water resistance, it is not easy for a liquid such as water to enter from the front side toward the back side of the garment through, for example, a portion of the fastener 20 provided to the garment. In this case, since the water resistance is not imparted to the fastener tape 22, there can be obtained advantages such as reduction in manufacturing cost and simplification of manufacturing steps.
Example 2
Fig. 7 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing a cross section orthogonal to the front-rear direction of a part of the slide fastener product of embodiment 2.
The zippered product 2 of this example 2 was a garment in the same manner as in the aforementioned example 1. The garment 2 with a slide fastener according to embodiment 2 includes a slide fastener 20 having a pair of right and left fastener stringers 21, and a member (cloth) 50 to which the slide fastener is to be attached, the member having right and left fastener stringer attachment edges 51 to which the right and left fastener stringers 21 are attached.
The zipped garment 2 of this example 2 differs from the zipped garment 1 described in example 1 above in the following two points. As 1 st difference, the 1 st adhesive layer 31 and the 2 nd adhesive layer 32 described in the above-described embodiment 1 are not provided on the slide fastener-attached garment 2 of the present embodiment 2. As a 2 nd difference, in the garment with a slide fastener 2 of the present embodiment 2, the double layer portion 54 (particularly, the folded portion 56) of the cloth 50 has a property that the folded shape can be maintained by a heat treatment (for example, a heat setting treatment).
The zipped garment 2 of this example 2 is formed substantially in the same manner as the zipped garment 1 described in example 1 above, except for the two differences described above. For example, the fastener stringer 21 used in the present embodiment 2 is formed substantially in the same manner as the fastener stringer 21 described in the above embodiment 1.
Therefore, in the description relating to the present embodiment 2 and the descriptions relating to the following embodiments 3 and 4, parts, members, and the like formed substantially in the same manner as those of the slide fastener-equipped garment 1 described in the foregoing embodiment 1 are denoted by the same reference numerals as in the case of the foregoing embodiment 1, and thus detailed descriptions thereof will not be described.
The left and right cloths 50 used in the garment 2 of this example 2 have at least water resistance. Each of the left and right cloths 50 has a cloth main body portion (not shown) and a fastener tape attaching edge portion 51 provided at an end edge portion of the cloth main body portion. The fastener stringer attachment edge 51 of each cloth 50 has a double-layer portion 54 formed in a U-letter shape by overlapping the cloth 50 of the garment in the up-down direction.
The double layer portion 54 of this embodiment 2 has, in a cross section orthogonal to the front-rear direction, a1 st strip portion 55 extending from a cloth main body portion (not shown) toward the inside in the width direction, a bending portion 56 bending while extending from the 1 st strip portion 55, and a2 nd strip portion 57 extending from the bending portion 56 and overlapping the 1 st strip portion 55. The fastener stringer 21 is sewn to the 2 nd strip portion 57 of the double-layer portion 54 by the sewn portion 12. The double-layer portion 54 is formed in a state of being in contact with the fin portion 23b (the 2 nd fin portion 25 b) of the fastener element 23.
The double-layer portion 54 of example 2 has a property that the shape of the bent portion 56 after bending can be maintained by performing a heat treatment such as a heat setting treatment in a state of having a shape bent in a letter U shape or a shape close thereto. In other words, the double-layer portion 54 of the present embodiment 2 has a property that, for example, when an external force is applied to the double-layer portion 54, the double-layer portion 54 having a letter U shape is deformed so as to open in a direction in which the 1 st strip portion 55 and the 2 nd strip portion 57 are pulled apart, and then the external force is removed, the double-layer portion 54 can return to the shape before deformation. In addition, in the present embodiment 2, the recovered "shape before deformation" includes the same shape as before deformation and a shape (substantially the same shape) close to the same shape. The heat treatment is a treatment involving heating the object to be treated.
By providing the double-layered portion 54 of embodiment 2 with the above-described properties, the double-layered portion 54 can easily maintain the letter U-shape without applying an external force to the double-layered portion 54, and therefore the fastener tape 22 can be made less likely to be exposed to the outside from between the fastener element 23 and the member 10 to which the fastener is to be attached. Further, even if a part of the 2 nd tape portion 57 is temporarily separated from the fastener tape 22 by applying an external force to the double-layer portion 54 or the double-layer portion 54 is separated from the fastener tape 22 and rolled up, the double-layer portion 54 can return to the original letter U shape after the external force is removed, and therefore the fastener tape 22 can be covered again by the double-layer portion 54, and the fastener tape 22 is less likely to be exposed to the outside.
In embodiment 2, the fold may be formed by applying heat and pressure to the bent portion 56 of the double-layer portion 54, for example, as in ironing. By forming such a crease in the bending portion 56, the shape of the double-layer portion 54 after bending (in other words, the letter U-shaped shape of the double-layer portion 54) can be more stabilized. In embodiment 2, a member such as a film for easily maintaining the shape of the double-layer portion 54 may be attached to the inside of the double-layer portion 54. This can further stabilize the shape of the double-layer portion 54 after bending.
In example 2, the sewn portion 12 where the fastener stringer attachment edge portion 51 and the fastener stringer 21 are sewn is provided in a straight line along the front-rear direction of the fastener tape 22 by the sewing process of the butt seam using a sewing machine. With the sewn portion 12, the fastener stringer 21 is fixed to the fastener tape attaching edge portion 51 of the cloth 50. Further, a part of the sewn portion 12 is arranged to be sandwiched between the 1 st strip portion 55 and the 2 nd strip portion 57 of the double layer portion 54.
The sewn portion 12 of example 2 is disposed at a position separated from the fastener element 23 in the lateral direction on the outer side (tape inner side) in the lateral direction, and is also disposed at a position separated from the bent portion 56 of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 51 on the outer side in the lateral direction. In this case, the separation distance D1 between the sewn portion 12 and the fin portion 23b of the fastener element 23 in the left-right direction is preferably 1.0mm or more and 10.0mm or less. At this time, the bent portion 56 of the fastener tape attaching edge 51 is disposed in contact with the fastener element 23, and a portion of the double layer portion 54 between the position of the sewn portion 12 and the position of the bent portion 56 is formed as a flap on the fastener tape 22 in the left-right direction. Thus, a water resistant region is formed between the sewn portion 12 and the fastener element 23.
Next, a method of manufacturing the slide fastener product 2 of this example 2 will be briefly described.
First, a sewing process of sewing the fastener tape 22 of the fastener stringer 21 and the fastener tape attaching edge portion 51 of the cloth 50 is performed using a sewing machine. After the sewing process is completed, a bending process is performed in which the fastener tape attaching edge 51 of the cloth 50 is bent to form the double-layer portion 54. The sewing and bending steps of this example 2 are performed substantially in the same manner as those described in the foregoing example 1.
Next, a heat treatment step is performed in which the fastener tape attaching edge portion 51 and the fastener tape 21, on which the double layer portion 54 is formed by the bending step, are subjected to heat treatment for stabilizing the shape of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 51.
In the heat treatment step of example 2, a heat treatment (heat setting treatment) was performed in which the double layer portion 54 of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 51 was heated in a state of being bent into a letter U shape. This stabilizes the shape of the double-layer portion 54 after bending, and therefore, for example, when the external force is removed after the double-layer portion 54 is deformed by the external force, the double-layer portion 54 can be restored to the original shape before deformation.
In the heat treatment step of example 2, for example, an iron may be used as the heat treatment, and ironing may be performed in which the double-layer portion 54 of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 51 bent in a letter U shape is heated while pressing the double-layer portion 54. By performing such ironing, the fold can be easily formed in the bent portion 56 of the double-layer portion 54.
That is, in example 2, by performing the heat treatment step including the heat setting treatment, ironing, and the like, the double layer portion 54 having a property of being able to maintain the shape of the folded portion 56 after being folded can be stably formed on the fastener tape attaching edge portion 51 of the cloth 50. In the present invention, the heat treatment step for maintaining the shape after bending is not limited to the heat setting treatment and ironing treatment described above, and may include other treatments and treatments accompanied by heating.
By performing the sewing step, the bending step, and the heat treatment step, the cloth 50 having the fastener stringer 21 sewn to the fastener stringer attachment edge portion 51 as shown in fig. 7 is produced. At this time, the sewn portion 12 where the fastener stringer 21 and the fastener tape attaching edge portion 51 are sewn is covered with the fastener tape attaching edge portion 51 (in particular, the 1 st strip portion 55).
In example 2, the sewing step, the bending step, and the heat treatment step were performed in this order as described above. However, in the present invention, the order of performing the sewing step, the bending step, and the heat treatment step is not particularly limited, and for example, the bending step and the heat treatment step may be performed before the sewing step.
Thereafter, by using the cloth 50 with the fastener stringers 21 sewn thereto according to this example 2, the garment 2 with a fastener can be manufactured in the same manner as in the case of the aforementioned example 1.
In the thus manufactured garment 2 with a slide fastener according to embodiment 2, the sewn portion 12 is provided separately from the fastener elements 23 in the left-right direction, but the double layer portion 54 of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 51 is formed to maintain the folded shape of the folded portion 56 by performing heat treatment (heat treatment step) to stabilize the shape.
Therefore, according to the garment with a slide fastener of embodiment 2, the double layer portion 54 of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 51 is less likely to be rolled up with respect to the fastener tape 21, and the double layer portion 54 is likely to be maintained in contact with (or in close proximity to) the fastener element 23.
Therefore, in embodiment 2, the fastener tape 22 can be prevented or suppressed from being exposed to the outside from between the fastener element 23 and the member 50 to which the fastener is to be attached, and the substantially entire fastener tape 22 can be easily covered with the fastener tape attaching edge portion 51. Accordingly, the design, appearance quality, and the like of the clothing can be prevented or suppressed from being impaired by the exposure of the fastener tape 22.
In the case of the slide fastener-attached garment according to embodiment 2, as in the case of embodiment 1, even when the fastener tape 22 itself does not have water resistance, it is possible to prevent liquid from easily entering through the slide fastener 20 as long as the cloth 50 of the garment has at least water resistance.
Example 3
Fig. 8 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing a cross-section orthogonal to the front-rear direction of a part of the slide fastener product of example 3.
The zippered product 3 of this example 3 was a garment in the same manner as in the aforementioned example 1. The garment 3 with a slide fastener according to example 3 includes a slide fastener 20 having a pair of right and left fastener stringers 21, and a member (cloth) 70 to which the slide fastener is attached, the member having right and left fastener tape attaching edges 71 to which the right and left fastener stringers 21 are attached.
The zipped garment 3 of this example 3 differs from the zipped garment 1 described in example 1 above in the following three points. As 1 st difference, the 1 st adhesive layer 31 and the 2 nd adhesive layer 32 described in the above-described embodiment 1 are not provided on the slide fastener-attached garment 3 of the present embodiment 3. As the 2 nd difference, in the garment 3 with a slide fastener of the present embodiment 3, the setting range of the separation distance in the left-right direction between the sewn portion 12 and the fin portion 23b of the fastener element 23 is different from the case of the foregoing embodiment 1. As a 3 rd difference, in the slide fastener-equipped garment 3 of the present embodiment 3, the thickness dimension T of the double-layered portion 74 is set to a size within a predetermined range. The zipper-equipped garment 3 of this example 3 was formed substantially in the same manner as the zipper-equipped garment 1 described in example 1 above, except for the three points described above.
The left and right cloths 70 of the garment used in example 3 have at least water resistance. Each of the left and right cloths 70 has a cloth main body portion (not shown) and a fastener tape attaching edge portion 71 provided at an end edge portion of the cloth main body portion. The fastener tape attaching edge portion 71 of each cloth 70 has a double-layer portion 74 formed in a letter U shape by overlapping the cloth 70 of the garment in the up-down direction.
The double layer portion 74 of this example 3 has, in a cross section orthogonal to the front-rear direction, a1 st strip portion 75 extending from a cloth main body portion (not shown) toward the inside in the width direction, a bending portion 76 bending while extending from the 1 st strip portion 75, and a2 nd strip portion 77 extending from the bending portion 76 and overlapping the 1 st strip portion 75. The fastener stringer 21 is attached to the 2 nd strip portion 77 of the double layer portion 74 by the sewn portion 12. The double-layer portion 74 is formed in a state of being in contact with the fin portion 23b (the 2 nd fin portion 25 b) of the fastener element 23.
In example 3, the thickness dimension T of the double layer portion 74 of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 71 is set to be 0.25mm or more and 5.0mm or less. In this case, the thickness dimension T of the double-layer portion 74 is a dimension in the up-down direction from the position of the upper surface (outer surface) of the 1 st strip portion 75 to the position of the lower surface (outer surface) of the 2 nd strip portion 77.
By setting the thickness dimension T of the double-layered portion 74 to 0.25mm or more, preferably 0.55mm or more, the double-layered portion 74 can be easily formed closer to the fastener element 23, and therefore the contact state between the double-layered portion 74 and the fastener element 23 (particularly, the fin portion 23 b) can be easily maintained. Thereby, the fastener tape 22 can be prevented or suppressed from being exposed from between the double-layer portion 74 and the fastener element 23. In addition, even when the double-layered portion 74 is slightly separated from the fastener element 23 due to an external force or the like applied to the double-layered portion 74, the portion between the fastener element 23 and the double-layered portion 74 is easily hidden by the shadow of the double-layered portion 74 by forming the double-layered portion 74 to be thicker in the up-down direction as described above, and therefore, the fastener tape 22 can be hardly seen from the gap between the fastener element 23 and the double-layered portion 74.
Further, by setting the thickness dimension T of the double-layer portion 74 to 5.0mm or less, preferably 3.0mm or less, the step between the fastener tape attaching edge portion 71 and the fastener element 23 can be reduced, and the water-repellent performance can be prevented from being lowered due to the water droplets adhering to the step.
Further, it is also conceivable that the thickness dimension T of the double-layered portion 74 is set to be equal to the thickness of the fin portion 23b of the fastener element 23. In fig. 8, the fin portion 23b is formed in a wedge shape in which the thickness decreases from the fastener element 23 toward the outside in the right-left direction (tape inside), but in order to avoid or reduce a step between the fin portion 23b and the double-layer portion 74, the wedge shape of the fin portion 23b may be removed or the wedge-shaped region of the fin portion 23b may be formed smaller.
In example 3, the sewn portion 12 where the fastener stringer attachment edge portion 71 and the fastener stringer 21 are sewn is provided in a straight line along the front-rear direction of the fastener tape 22 by the sewing process of the butt seam using a sewing machine. With this sewn portion 12, the fastener stringer 21 is fixed to the fastener tape attaching edge portion 71 (the 2 nd strip portion 77) of the cloth 70. Further, a part of the sewn portion 12 is arranged to be sandwiched between the 1 st strip portion 75 and the 2 nd strip portion 77 of the double layer portion 74.
The sewn portion 12 of example 3 is disposed at a position separated from the fastener element 23 in the lateral direction on the outer side (tape inner side) in the lateral direction, and is also disposed at a position separated from the bent portion 76 of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 71 on the outer side in the lateral direction. In this case, the separation distance D2 between the sewn portion 12 and the fin portion 23b of the fastener element 23 in the left-right direction is preferably 0.5mm or more and 10.0mm or less. At this time, the bent portion 76 of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 71 is disposed in contact with the fastener element 23, and a portion of the double layer portion 74 between the position of the sewn portion 12 and the position of the bent portion 76 is formed as a flap on the fastener tape 22 in the left-right direction. Thus, a water resistant region is formed between the sewn portion 12 and the fastener element 23.
By setting the separation distance D2 to 0.5mm or more, preferably 0.8mm or more, it is not easy to bring the sewing machine needle into contact with the fastener element 23 when the sewing portion 12 is formed by the sewing machine, and sewing processing for sewing the fastener tape 22 to the fastener tape attaching edge portion 71 of the cloth 70 can be smoothly and stably performed.
Further, by setting the separation distance D2 to 10.0mm or less, preferably 5.0mm or less, the double-layer portion 74 is less likely to be rolled up. Therefore, the fastener tape 22 is less likely to be seen between the fastener element 23 and the double-layer portion 74. Further, by setting the separation distance D2 to 10.0mm or less, the width dimension of the fastener tape 22 and the width dimension of the 2 nd tape portion 77 can be prevented from becoming excessively large, and the manufacturing cost can be easily reduced. When the separation distance is more than 10.0mm, it may be difficult to position and bend the bending portion 76 so as to be in contact with the fastener element 23.
In the above-described garment 3 with a slide fastener according to embodiment 3, the sewn portion 12 is provided separately from the fastener element 23 in the left-right direction, but by making the thickness dimension T of the double layer portion 74 0.25mm or more and the separation distance D2 between the sewn portion 12 and the fastener element 23 10.0mm or less, the double layer portion 74 of the fastener tape attaching edge portion 71 can be made less likely to be rolled up with respect to the fastener tape 21, and the fastener tape 22 can be made less likely to be seen from between the fastener element 23 and the double layer portion 74. Accordingly, the design, appearance quality, and the like of the clothing can be prevented or suppressed from being impaired by the exposure of the fastener tape 22.
In the case of the slide fastener-attached garment 3 of the present embodiment 3, as in the case of the aforementioned embodiment 1, even in the case where the fastener tape 22 itself does not have water resistance, as long as the cloth 70 of the garment has at least water resistance, it is possible to prevent liquid from easily penetrating through the slide fastener 20.
In the slide fastener-attached garment according to embodiment 3, either one of the condition that the thickness dimension T of the double layer portion 74 is 0.25mm or more and the condition that the separation distance D2 between the sewn portion 12 and the fin portion 23b of the fastener element 23 in the left-right direction is 10.0mm or less may be satisfied. Thus, even in the case of a garment with a slide fastener which satisfies one condition, the fastener tape is not easily visible from the outside of the garment with a slide fastener.
Example 4
Fig. 9 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing a cross-section orthogonal to the front-rear direction of a part of the slide fastener product of example 4.
The zippered product 4 of this example 4 was a garment in the same manner as in the aforementioned example 1. The garment 4 with a slide fastener of this example 4 includes a slide fastener 20 having a pair of right and left fastener stringers 21, and a member (cloth) 90 to which the slide fastener is to be attached, having right and left fastener tape attaching edge portions 91 to which the right and left fastener stringers 21 are attached.
The zipped garment 4 of this example 4 differs from the zipped garment 1 described in example 1 above in the following three points. As 1 st difference, the 1 st adhesive layer 31 and the 2 nd adhesive layer 32 described in the above-described embodiment 1 are not provided on the slide fastener-attached garment 4 of the present embodiment 4. As a2 nd difference, the bending portion 96 is arranged near the forming position of the sewn portion 12 and near the fastener element 23 in the left-right direction. As a 3 rd difference, in the garment 4 with a slide fastener of the present embodiment 4, the setting range of the separation distance in the left-right direction between the sewn portion 12 and the fin portion 23b of the fastener element 23 is different from that in the case of the foregoing embodiment 1. The zipper-equipped garment 4 of this example 4 was formed substantially in the same manner as the zipper-equipped garment 1 described in example 1 above, except for the three points described above.
The left and right cloths 90 of the garment used in example 4 have at least water resistance. Each of the left and right cloths 90 has a cloth main body portion (not shown) and a fastener tape attaching edge portion 91 provided at an end edge portion of the cloth main body portion. The fastener tape attaching edge 91 of each cloth 90 has a double-layer portion 94 formed in a U-letter shape by overlapping the cloth 90 of the garment in the vertical direction.
The double-layer portion 94 of this example 4 has, in a cross section orthogonal to the front-rear direction, a1 st strip portion 95 extending from a cloth main body portion (not shown) toward the inside in the width direction, a bent portion 96 extending from the 1 st strip portion 95 and bending, and a2 nd strip portion 97 extending from the bent portion 96 and overlapping the 1 st strip portion 95. The fastener stringer 21 is attached to the 2 nd strip portion 97 of the double layer portion 94 by the sewn portion 12. The double-layer portion 94 is formed in a state of approaching the fin portion 23b (the 2 nd fin portion 25 b) of the fastener element 23.
In example 4, the sewn portion 12 where the fastener stringer attachment edge portion 91 and the fastener stringer 21 are sewn is provided in a straight line along the front-rear direction of the fastener tape 22 by the sewing process of the butt seam using a sewing machine. With this sewn portion 12, the fastener stringer 21 is fixed to the fastener tape attaching edge portion 91 (the 2 nd strip portion 97) of the cloth 90. Further, a part of the sewn portion 12 is arranged to be sandwiched between the 1 st strip portion 95 and the 2 nd strip portion 97 of the double layer portion 94.
The sewn portion 12 of this example 4 is disposed at a position separated from the outer side (tape inner side) of the fastener element 23 in the left-right direction. Further, the fastener tape attaching edge 91 is bent from the sewn portion 12 to form a double-layered portion 94 so that the 1 st strip portion 95 and the 2 nd strip portion 97 overlap each other vertically, and the bent portion 96 is formed at a position close to the sewn portion 12.
In this case, the separation distance D3 between the sewn portion 12 and the fin portion 23b of the fastener element 23 in the left-right direction is preferably 3.0mm or less. More preferably, the separation distance D3 is 2.0mm or less and 1.0mm or less. The separation distance D3 is preferably 0.5mm or more. In other words, the separation distance D3 is preferably 60% or less of the width of the fastener element 23 in the left-right direction (here, the width of the portion other than the width of the 1 st fin portion and the width of the 2 nd fin portion). More preferably, the separation distance D3 is 40% or less and 20% or less of the width of the fastener element 23 in the lateral direction of the portion other than the fin portion. The separation distance D3 is preferably 10% or more of the width of the fastener element 23 in the lateral direction of the portion other than the fin portion. In example 4, unlike in examples 1 to 3, although no flap is formed between the position of the sewn portion 12 and the position of the bent portion 96, the separation distance D3 is set to be narrow (made small), so that a water resistant region is formed between the sewn portion 12 and the fastener element 23.
When the distance D3 is set to 0.5mm or more or 10% or more of the width of the fastener element 23 in the lateral direction of the portion other than the fin portion, the sewing needle is not easily brought into contact with the fastener element 23 when the sewing portion 12 is formed by using the sewing machine, and the sewing process of sewing the fastener tape 22 to the fastener tape attaching edge portion 71 of the cloth 70 can be smoothly and stably performed.
Further, by setting the separation distance D3 to 3.0mm or less or 60% or less of the width of the fastener element 23 in the lateral direction at a portion other than the fin portion, the fastener tape 22 is less likely to be seen between the fastener element 23 and the double-layer portion 94.
In the above-described garment 4 with a slide fastener according to embodiment 4, the sewn portion 12 is provided separately from the fastener element 23 in the left-right direction, but the fastener tape 22 is not easily seen between the fastener element 23 and the double-layer portion 94 by setting the separation distance D3 between the sewn portion 12 and the fastener element 23 to a narrow width of 3.0mm or less. Accordingly, the design, appearance quality, and the like of the clothing can be prevented or suppressed from being impaired by the exposure of the fastener tape 22.
In the garment 4 with a slide fastener of this example 4, as in the case of the aforementioned example 1, even in the case where the slide fastener tape 22 itself does not have water resistance, the liquid is less likely to enter through the slide fastener 20 by utilizing the aforementioned water resistant region as long as the cloth 90 of the garment has at least water resistance.
In each of examples 1 to 4, it was confirmed that a water-resistant region was formed between the sewn portion 12 and the fastener element 23 by a rain test described below. The rain test was performed under conditions (24 in, 2 min) suitable for AATCC 35. In order to eliminate the influence of water leakage from the gaps of the fastener elements 23, a water leakage preventing tape was attached to the front surface of the fastener element 23, and a test was performed. As a result of the rain test, it was confirmed that the water permeation quantity in each water-resistant region of examples 1 to 4 was less than 0.1g.
The present invention is not limited to examples 1 to 4 described above, and various modifications can be made as long as they have substantially the same structure and the same operational effects as those of the present invention.
For example, in examples 1 to 4, as described above, the fastener elements 23 are provided on the fastener tape 22 in the respective independent shapes by injection molding of synthetic resin, thereby forming the fastener 20 and the fastener element tape 21. However, in the present invention, instead of the fastener element 23 made of synthetic resin, a plurality of fastener elements made of metal, which are formed in respective independent shapes, may be provided to the fastener tape, thereby forming the fastener and the fastener stringer.
In addition, although the case where the zipped clothing has at least water resistance was described in examples 1 to 4, the zipped clothing may not have water resistance in the present invention. Further, in the present embodiment, the clothing is described as a representative of the product to which the slide fastener is attached, but in the present invention, the product with the slide fastener is not limited to clothing. The zipper-equipped product of the present invention includes various products such as daily sundry products including clothing, footwear, bags and the like, products including industrial materials, and various sheet products used in automobiles, trains, aircraft, and the like, other than clothing.
