Description

生物可降解的和生物相容的农用覆盖物及其制备方法
本发明涉及生物可降解的和生物相容的农用覆盖物及其制备方法。更具体地说,本发明涉及具有程序化生物降解持续时间的农用覆盖物。
自从本世纪初开始,人们进行了很多尝试,试图从各种纤维编织物生产农用覆盖物。从这方面,人们发现纸或纸板都不能长时间抗降解。这就是为什么全部工作都已集中在寻找一种抗生物降解的有效保护作用这一必要性的原因。
另一方面,人们熟知:聚丙交酯(PLA-得自2-羟基丙酸的聚合物)是被认为真正生物可降解的稀有聚合物之一。它的降解周期基于该聚合物链的水解过程。它被分解成乳糖、水和二氧化碳,PLA还是完全生物相容的。这表明,该聚合物和它的降解产物都不损害活生物体的健康。为此,PLA的医学用途(外科)是人们熟知的。
在PLA的生产方面的最近技术进展已使得可能以竞争价格提供大量的PLA。此外,在它的生产中,有可能修饰该聚合物链从而控制它对降解的抗性。然而,PLA是一种机械性能差的材料。因为PLA太易碎且脆性太大,不可能被用作可通过标准机械展开装置安装的PLA膜。因此,PLA需要载体,不过,后者必须至少保持PLA的全部所需性能。
于是,需要一种提供良好隔热性的合适的PLA-载体结合体,以至在夜间,它保持地面的湿度,在白天,它允许地面逐渐变暖,但不是塑料覆盖物的情况中通常发生的那样使地面过热。
因此,本发明的一个目的是提供一种覆盖物,它能使地面的温度恒定地保持在最适生长区(它大为有利于季节开始时的植物)。
本发明的另一目的是提供一种覆盖物,它在季节开始时给幼种提供优良的隔热性,但完全防止杂草的生长(它不能穿过覆盖物生长)。
本发明的又一目的是提供一种覆盖物,它使得可能不需通过熏蒸使用危险的产品(例如异硫氰酸甲酯、氯代烃等)。
本发明还有一个目的是提供一种覆盖物,它将保持在原地直至完全降解。
本发明还有一个目的是提供一种制备覆盖物的方法,它克服了现有技术中描述的那些方法的全部缺点。
本发明的这些和其它目的是通过提供一种生物可降解的和生物相容的农用覆盖物而实现的,该覆盖物包括一张纤维素纤维制品(优选是一张纸),它的定量在约40g/m2和60g/m2之间。该张制品至少有一面涂了一层聚丙交酯。该涂层应用的量应使其重量在约2g/m2和15g/m2之间。
实施中,该张制品优选是一张由再循环纤维素纤维制品制备的纸。它的厚度可在2磅(points)和4磅之间变化。通常,在与PLA层相反的一面涂有生物添加剂,例如,10-6-0、0-20-0、0-0-22及其混合物。
聚丙交酯层优选含光反射剂,它可以是着色剂,并且,它的用量可以是PLA的约3-8wt%。优选的光反射剂包括炭黑,不过,可根据需要反射的光量应用任何其它光反射剂。
本发明的生物可降解和生物相容的农用覆盖物可这样制备:
提供一张定量在约40g/m2和60m/g2之间的纤维素纤维制品,
在该张制品上淀积一定量的聚丙交酯液体层,以至当该层固化时,它的重量在约2g/m2和15g/m2之间,以及
使PLA层固化而粘附在该张制品上并与它构成覆盖物。
在所述制品上淀积PLA层通常是这样实现的,即热挤出PLA而产生一种液体,并将一层该液体置于所述纤维制品(它通常是一张纸,优选是再循环纸)上。
由于可以修饰PLA的聚合物链,所以,有可能调节它对生物降解的抗性,因而可调节它的寿命,这促使它成为生产农用覆盖物的优选材料。确实应认识到:那么就有可能因不同种蔬菜和树木的需要而异地优化对幼苗的保护。
人们将发现,PLA是加到纤维素纤维制品的编织物中的理想附加物。该结合使生产的覆盖物符合现代农业生产的需要:在整个季节性生长期间维持足够的使用寿命,以及机械化安装。在季节开始时,该纤维编织物给幼苗提供优良的隔热性,同时完全防止杂草的生长,它不能象塑料覆盖物的情况那样生长穿过本发明的覆盖物。
一旦放在一定的位置,当所述纸载体已生物降解后,PLA膜就不需要载体并且将保持在原地直至完全生物降解。在季节结束后,将不需特殊的处理。简单地耕地就足以将残余的PLA拌入土壤。因为生物降解已使PLA转化成甚至更脆的物质,它将不能对土壤机械作业产生抗性。此外,还给土壤增添了乳糖(它是PLA的生物降解产生的残余物)的天然施肥性能。
PLA是一种天然透明材料。所以,有可能根据需要将它染色:白色限制热传递,或者染其它任何将会最优化植物的产量的颜色。
当然,本发明不限于上述制备方法,本领域技术人员熟知的其它任何方法都落在本发明的范围和精神之内。

Claims (12)

1.一种生物可降解的和生物相容的农用覆盖物,它包括:
一张定量在约40g/m2和60m/g2之间的纤维素纤维制品,
所述那张制品至少有一面涂有一层聚丙交酯,应用的所述涂层量使该涂层重量在大约2g/m2和15g/m2之间。
2.权利要求1的生物可降解的和生物相容的农用覆盖物,其中,所述那张制品包括纸。
3.权利要求2的生物可降解的和生物相容的农用覆盖物,其中,所述纸的厚度在2磅和4磅之间。
4.权利要求2的生物可降解的和生物相容的农用覆盖物,其中,所述纸是由再循环纤维素纤维制品制备的。
5.权利要求1-4任一项的生物可降解的和生物相容的农用覆盖物,它与所述涂层相反的一面被涂有生物添加剂。
6.权利要求5的生物可降解的和生物相容的农用覆盖物,其中,所述生物添加剂选自10-6-0、0-20-0、0-0-22及其混合物。
7.权利要求1-6任一项的生物可降解的和生物相容的农用覆盖物,其中,所述聚丙交酯层包括光反射剂。
8.权利要求7的生物可降解的和生物相容的农用覆盖物,其中,所述光反射剂包括着色剂。
9.权利要求8的生物可降解的和生物相容的农用覆盖物,它包括约3-8wt%的光反射剂。
10.权利要求9的生物可降解的和生物相容的农用覆盖物,其中,所述光反射剂包括炭黑。
11.一种制备生物可降解的和生物相容的农用覆盖物的方法,它包括:
提供一张定量在约40g/m2和60g/m2之间的纤维素纤维制品,
在该张制品上淀积一定量的聚丙交酯液体层,以至当该层固化时,它的重量在约2g/m2和15g/m2之间,以及
使该层固化而粘附在所述那张制品上并构成所述覆盖物。
12.权利要求11的方法,其中,所述聚丙交酯被挤出到所述那张制品上。
