Background
The existing electronic devices, such as mobile phones and tablet computers, often have a photographing function. When a large number of photos or movies are taken, the photos or movies occupy a large amount of storage space of the electronic device. Especially, some high-definition photos or movies taken will occupy a larger storage space. However, users tend to be interested in only a small number of photos or movies and click-through to view, beautify, or share them. Since these previously clicked-to-view, beautified or shared photos or movies are mixed with other photos or movies when the user performs the deletion sorting, the user cannot effectively delete those photos or movies that are not of interest.

judging whether the acquired image is a hit image, wherein the hit image is an image which is opened, processed or shared after being clicked in the electronic device;
marking the image when the acquired image is determined to be a hot image; and
prompting the user to delete unmarked images.
Preferably, the method comprises in the step "marking the image when it is determined that the acquired image is a hit image":
acquiring the number of times of clicking the image; and
and determining the image as a hit image when the number of times of clicking the image exceeds a preset number of times.
Preferably, the method comprises in the step "marking the image when it is determined that the acquired image is a hit image":
acquiring the time of the image staying after the image is clicked and opened; and
and determining the image as a hot image when the image stays for more than a preset time after being opened.
Preferably, the method comprises in the step "marking the image when it is determined that the acquired image is a hit image":
judging whether the image has a record shared by social software of the electronic device; and
and when the acquired image has a record shared by social software, determining that the image is a popular image.
Preferably, the method comprises in the step "marking the image when it is determined that the acquired image is a hit image":
judging whether the image has a record of being edited, beautified or cut; and
the image is determined to be a hit image when the acquired image has a record that is edited, beautified, or cropped.
An electronic device for performing deletion sorting on an image, the electronic device comprising a processing unit configured to:
acquiring an image in the electronic device;
judging whether the acquired image is a hit image, wherein the hit image is an image which is opened, processed or shared after being clicked in the electronic device;
marking the image when the acquired image is determined to be a hot image; and
prompting the user to delete unmarked images.
Preferably, the processing unit is further configured to:
acquiring the number of times of clicking the image; and
and determining the image as a hit image when the number of times of clicking the image exceeds a preset number of times.
Preferably, the processing unit is further configured to:
acquiring the time of the image staying after the image is clicked and opened; and
and determining the image as a hot image when the image stays for more than a preset time after being opened.
Preferably, the processing unit is further configured to:
judging whether the image has a record shared by social software of the electronic device; and
and when the acquired image has a record shared by social software, determining that the image is a popular image.
Preferably, the processing unit is further configured to:
judging whether the image has a record of being edited, beautified or cut; and
the image is determined to be a hit image when the acquired image has a record that is edited, beautified, or cropped.
The invention can judge whether the image is a hot image or not and remind the user to delete the non-hot image, thereby facilitating the user to delete and sort the interested photos or movies.
