7. The squat exercise apparatus as claimed in any one of claims 4 to 6, wherein the flexible member is parallel to a line joining the first end and the second end when the swing seat is in the stowed position.
8. The squat exercise apparatus as claimed in claim 7, wherein the resistance mechanism comprises a damper disposed on the base and connected to one end of the flexure.
