Abstract
一种带有图案的装饰或功能转印件,它是通过电控印刷步骤用粘着剂或其母体将图案印在转印纸上而生产出的,上述图案对应于电存储或产生的数字图象,在使用母体的情况下,要将母体转化为粘着剂,在粘着剂或其母体上施加粉末状装饰材料或功能材料,以便使该材料由粘着剂粘附住并由此用材料形成图案。
Description
本发明涉及一种装饰转印件或功能转印件的生产方法以及它们用于在物品上形成装饰图案或功能图案的方法。
已有大量的转印件生产方法,有时称为“贴花法”,或“移画印花法”,它们尤其用于一些物品的装饰,如陶瓷餐具、玻璃或玻璃陶瓷、陶瓷卫生具、瓷砖、釉瓷如搪瓷铁,铝或钢,以及其他陶瓷器具,包括“礼品”(花瓶、赠品等等),这种转印生产过程通常是采用丝网印刷将含有陶瓷颜料的油墨印在转印纸上,通过加热释放转印件。上述转印纸可以是传统的水滑纸或蜡纸。转印件被用来将它的图案转印到一个基体物品上,然后在一个炉窑中焙烧该物品,就可得到所需要的装饰物品,转印过程有时也用于无需对装饰物品焙烧的过程,这种装饰物品是在几百摄氏温度下,不耐热的物品,如塑料或蜡烛。尽管平版印刷的规模相对较小,而且相当耗时,但还是有一些转印件采用平版印刷法来生产。
欧洲专利EP-414,363提出采用喷墨印刷机将粘着油墨印在电路的基体上,再施加低熔点的金属粉末,加热该图案形成导电通路从而完成电路板的生产。
这种转印生产技术还需要改进,尤其是对来自带有扫描图象,计算机制图得到的图象或计算机变址图象的计算机存储器的需要在转印纸上复制的图案。
本发明提供了一种生产带有图案的装饰转印件或功能转印件的方法,该方法包括通过电控印刷步骤用粘着剂或其母体将上述图案印在转印纸上,在该母体转变成粘着剂的情况下,使图案对应于电储存的或电产生的数字图象,在粘着剂或其母体上施加粉末状装饰或功能材料,以便该材料能够由粘着剂粘结住,从而在该材料中形成图案。
本发明还提供了一种带有装饰和功能材料图案的转印件,该装饰和功能材料通过粘着剂粘结于转印纸上,采用电控印刷法将粘着剂或其母体以图案的形式印刷在转印纸上,从而该图案对应于电储存的或电产生的数字图象。
本发明还提供了一种在物品上制成装饰或功能图案的方法,该方法包括通过上述的转印件上,将图案转印给该物品。
本发明具有多种优点,尤其是它可以进行转印生产而无需耗时和技术困难的丝网印刷或平板印刷。突出的优点是转印生产由电控印刷步骤来控制,使得图案对应于电储存或电生成的数字图象。计算机能够产生图象,或可以采用已经储存在计算机中的图象。本发明能使图案在计算机中产生,而无论来自便笺的或通过修改的计算机贮存的图象,然后直接将图案印在转印件上,或电贮存起来以便随后再进行印刷。另一方面,图案还可以在计算机中进行扫描,然后再采用相同的方法印刷。本发明的方法还可以使一组不同的图案很容易地得到印刷,例如来自计算机存储库的图案。还可以通过计算机对图案进行快速修改,以便形成一系列的图案,每一种图案之间都有细微的差别,如在版本(如参考数字)或图形上,由于该图案限定在粘着剂上,因此可以通过使粘着剂母体混合物通过一个或多个喷嘴,在转印纸上形成图案,这一方法要优于交替使装饰材料的混合物或功能材料的混合物穿过一个或多个喷嘴,然后直接以材料的形式形成图案,因为这些材料经常为金属或金属氧化物,它们易堵塞和磨损喷嘴。
这里所用的术语“装饰”是指覆盖的图案,它带有简单的版本以及较美观的图案,另一方面转印件也是功能性的,例如一种微波致黑的转印件,装饰材料可以是一种纺织材料,带颜色的或不带颜色的,装饰材料可以在转印件和采用转印件的物品上产生织物的效果。最好,装饰或功能材料是一种装饰彩色材料。
在本发明中,装饰彩色材料可以是任何材料,任何颜色或色调,都可以在转印件上产生一装饰彩色图案,尤其是它还可以包含陶瓷颜料(下文将要详细描述)、贵金属粉末或小薄片,如金或金合金粉末或小薄片,以及闪光的云母型颜料,另一方面,也可以采用功能材料,即那种能够在转印件上提供一种功能图案的材料。显然当将装饰的或功能材料施加到转印件上形成最终需要图案之后,对所施加的装饰材料或功能材料还可进行改进。
可以采用已知的印刷方法,最好使用一种液态的含有粘着剂混合物的“油墨”来进行印刷,最好使这种液态油墨的微小液滴通过喷嘴喷射到纸上制成印刷品。喷墨印刷尤其最好。喷墨印刷这一术语包括“喷泡”(注册商标为Canon)印刷,这一术语同时还包括相变印刷,另外有所谓的固态喷墨印刷,其中固态油墨的材料融化并送到喷嘴中,以便喷液态的油墨微小液滴从喷嘴喷射到纸上,以制成印刷品,喷墨印刷机可以是转撤指型型的,它带有一排喷头,另一方面,喷墨印刷机可以是连续型,它有丝网板或一排喷头。本发明预计还可以用于激光喷印,通过粘着剂颗粒的静电引力印刷在转印纸上,通过加热使粘着剂粘附纸上。另外可研制其它的计算机控制的印刷方法用于本发明中。
在本方法中,一种优化方法是用粘着剂印刷图案,然而,另一方面还可用粘着剂母体印刷图案,再把这种母体转变为粘着剂,任何一个方法都是用粘着剂形成图案,它粘附装饰性材料或功能材料,用这种材料形成图案,因此,一种方法是用粘着剂母体印刷需要的图案,随后对其进行活化,例如通过加热或辐照(紫外或远红外辐照)以生或粘着剂本身,例如,用一种可进行辐照处理的粘着剂混合物印刷图案,施加装饰材料或功能材料。然后通过接受辐照对粘着剂混合物进行处理,可以看出,在这一实施例中,粘着剂是在装饰材料或功能材料施加后生或的,粘着剂在生成的同时粘附着材料。还可以用粘着剂母体印刷图案,该粘着剂母体是一种由两种特着剂组份组成的混合物,第二种组份可以在第一种组份被印刷之前或之后使用,在一个实施例中,转印纸上连续覆盖着第二种组份的膜,无论是在用第一种组份印制成图案之前还是之后,都可以看到粘着剂只在印刷的区域内生成,在这一实施例中,如果第二种组份是挥发性物质,它可以很方便地挥发掉离开非印刷区域,在另一实施例中,用第一种成份印刷图案,第二种或份与彩饰材料或功能材料混合后施加,粘着剂再一次只在第一种组份印刷的区域内生成,装饰材料或功能材料粘附在图案中,在这一实施例中可以看到,粘着剂在装饰材料或颜料施加的同时生成,然而,最好用粘着剂印刷图案,再将粉末状的装饰材料或功能材料施加到该处。
实际可选择的粘着剂可根据印刷过程改变,无论是否使用粘着剂母体,无论是否要生或水滑的或热激活的转印件,粘着剂可以是溶剂型的,水溶型的、或乳化型或弥散型的粘着剂,最好粘着剂或其母体的粘度与喷墨印刷的油墨粘性接近,实际印刷方法类型的选择某种程度上影响油墨的粘度,尽管油墨的通常粘度为1~30mPas,最好是15~25mPas,但是低到1~3mPas时仍可使用,制成转印件的油墨最好只包含那些在炉窑正常焙烧过程中能够完全驱除或烧掉的组分,尽管油墨中可以包含那些能够改善装饰材料或功能材料在焙烧的陶瓷或其他基体上粘附性能的物质,或其他能够改进转印件性能或外观的组份。最好所选用的油墨能迅速干燥,最好粘着剂层的厚度大约几个微米,例如1~30微米,1~10微米,1~2微米,通常,粘着剂层是发粘的。在本方法中,粘着剂通常是发粘的。在一个特定的实施例中,所印刷的发粘的,粘着剂层厚度为1~30微米,比如1~10微米,最好为1~2微米厚。在印刷时,粘着剂也可以是发粘的,例如在使用乙酰蔗糖异丁酸酯的情况下,可生成相当薄的薄膜,它本来就是粘的,在施加装饰材料或功能材料时,表面的粘性可以去掉。然而,通常所印刷的粘着剂在失去溶剂或水后,就会呈现相当的粘性以粘附装饰材料或功能材料。
在一个特定的实施例中,通过加热使粘着剂母体层呈现足够的粘性以粘附颜料粉末,在这种情形下,粘着剂母体层可以是印刷在转印件上的薄膜或一熔化的粉末层。
在印刷了粘着剂或其母体之后,如果在这一阶段需要,可以将粘着剂母体转化为粘着剂,然后再施加功能材料或装饰材料。还可以按在生产平板印刷转印件或丝网印刷转印件中涂颜料的已知方法来进行,最好,当粘着剂足够粘时,将功能材料或装饰材料施加在粘着剂图案上,例如通过使用带有材料的墨该,该材料通过振动料斗,或类似的方法分散开。然后需要通过对表面施加轻微的压力使材料附在粘着剂上,例如可使用毛绒垫或毡垫。之后将过量的粉末消除掉,如进一步可采用毛绒垫或毡垫、棉毛或类似材料的机械作用,还可选择真空的方式。最好将转印纸上无图案的飞绒清理干净,如可采用柔软的吸收材料如木屑来擦净,然后重复进行这一过程,使不同的颜色和图案与原图案相结合,在另一个使用装饰材料或功能材料的工艺中,所印刷的粘着剂或其母体装入电晕发射管,由此材料固定在其上。
装饰着色材料最好是一种或多种陶瓷颜料、贵金属粉末和/或薄片以及闪光的或云母型的颜料。
在转印件领域,陶瓷颜料已经非常公知了,一般无需进一步描述,已知的陶瓷颜料都可以使用,通常粉末包括无机氧化颜料,其中混有公知作为助溶剂的玻璃或玻璃质的玻璃原料,尽管在某些情形,可以不用助溶剂单独使用颜料。这种材料最好使用陶瓷颜料,通常其颗粒的最大粒径在350μm以下,在使用织物材料的情况下,基本上所有的颗粒的筛分粒径一般在125~350微米的范围内。然而,最好,这种颗粒材料的最大粒径基本上全部在150μm 以下。通常为粉末状的材料的适合粒径在100μm以下,一般大约在50μm以下,若颗粒的尺寸有50%的颗粒粒径在大约15μm以下是非常有益的,例如有50%的颗粒在4~12μm以下。在一个最佳实施例中,颗粒的粒径为5~25微米,在本说明书中,除非另有说明,粒径都是采用激光衍射法测量的,Malvern机也可用于测量粒径,在本发明的陶瓷颜料中颜料与任何一种助熔剂的比例可根据转印件的使用期改变(某种程度上根据颜料本身改变。例如,钴颜料会渗出,因此,它可以以对助熔剂相当高的比例来使用,该比例于绝大多数其它颜料),适合的比例范围以重量计为0.1~9,例如0.2~5,助熔剂对1份颜料的份数,对釉上釉面转印件以重量计,通常是大约2~5份的助熔剂对1份颜料,对釉底釉面转印件以重量计大约0.1~0.4,如0.2~0.4份的助熔剂对1份颜料。
当施加了装饰材料或功能材料之后,可以用粘着剂和与上述施加材料不同的材料再次制成图案,最好通过重复本发明方法的步骤来进行,以制成一个多色彩或合成效果的转印件。
当施加了装饰材料或功能材料之后,可以覆盖一层助熔剂,以使装饰着色材料变得发光。
带有粘附材料的转印最好用釉面层保护起来,可以采用已知的釉面层,它们通常是树脂漆,如丙烯酸类树脂或纤维素衍生物,当它受到处理接转印到陶瓷或其他基体上时,它具有支承图案的作用并可保持图案材料的完整性,可以采用已知的方法施加釉面层,也可以通过喷雾、K-bar涂覆或丝网印刷来施加釉面层。
可以看出本发明的转印件带有装饰或功能材料图案,该装饰或功能材料借助成图案的粘着剂粘于转印纸上。在一个特定的实施例中,转印件包括转印纸,该转印纸至少带有一种印刷装饰图案,该装饰图案包含通常是粘性的粘着剂层,上述粘着剂具有或掺入了粉末形式或薄片形式的装饰着色材料。
如上所述,转印纸可以是传统的水滑转印纸,或是可热激活的转印纸,如加热时可释放转印件的蜡纸。对某些场合,也可以使用硅酮或类似的释放纸。转印纸这一术语包括非纸基层如薄膜或具有相同功能的无纺材料,
可按已有的方式使用本发明的转印件,在使用时,转印件的图案层是与转印纸分开的,通过专用部件将其施加到陶瓷、玻璃、玻璃质的或其它的基体上,通常将其焙烧以驱除转印件中的所有有机成份,并使图案熔化在基体上,如陶瓷颜料的图案,焙烧的温度和时间取决于基体,可以通过采用已有的方式确定温度,本发明的转印件可用于釉上彩,釉底彩或釉中彩。
本发明的转印件最好用在陶瓷或玻璃。
玻璃转印件通常在最高温度为560~600℃的温度范围内焙烧,周期通常为10~90分钟,然而周期也可以增加到3小时或更长。通常,连续焙烧,作为与间断焙烧相反的连续焙烧,其周期为20~30分钟。
焙烧釉上彩装饰的陶瓷转印件,如用在陶瓷上的最高焙烧温度为750~900℃。通常焙烧几个小时如过夜到800℃,接近每小时100~200℃,在最高温度闷火1小时。通常快烧周期是在900℃闷火10分钟,一个周期为45~90分钟。
釉底彩通常被烤固或“一次烧成”,在前一种情况下,焙烧周期类似于釉上彩一周期过一夜(最高温度:800℃,闷火1小时,周期8~12小时)。对后一种情况,其周期是用于釉烧的焙烧周期不同的器具周期是不同的,但是通常为最高温度:1100℃,闷火1小时,周期10~14小时。
现代计算机辅助设计系统允许将艺术的或其他类图象记录在计算器的存储器中,或者允许图象只在计算机的存储器中产生,并允许修改(如在细节、大小、或与其他图象并接)图象。采用本发明的方法使用合适的打印机,可以在大型转印纸上打印出希望的图象,该转印纸通常用于丝网印刷转印件的生产,但是本发明的方法不象传统的平版印刷或丝网印刷那样需要制备几个印板或丝网。显然在使用时,本发明具有许多优点,尤其是因为它能够使计算机图象处理用于转印件的生产中。本发明的打印方法极大地改进了多色彩打印的对齐性能,在使用本发明时,还可容易得出本发明的其他优点。
下面通过实施例描述本发明。
实施例1
通过混合搅拌来制备粘着剂混合物:

用传统的方式,借助转印件将图案转印到骨灰瓷盘的表面上,其方式是通过将转印件浸没在水中,使釉面层上的图案转到盘上,使盘干燥,然后以每小时200℃的速度在800℃下焙烧,在最高温度下闷火1小时,得到的经过装饰的盘具有很好的质量。

按传说的方式,通过转印件将图案转印到骨灰瓷盘的表面上,其方式是通过将转印件浸没在水中,使釉面层上的图案转到盘上,使盘干燥,然后在90分钟中将盘焙烧到890℃,并在最高温度下闷火10分钟,闷火后,关闭炉窑,使其冷却,得到的装饰盘具有良好的质量。
Claims (17)
1.一种生产带有图案的装饰或功能转印件的方法,该方法包括通过电控印刷步骤用粘着剂或其母体在转印纸上印成图案,使图案对应于电存储的或电产生的数字图案,在使用母体的情况下,要将其转化为粘着剂,在粘着剂或其母体上施加粉末状的装饰材料或功能材料,以便使该材料粘附在粘着剂上并由此用材料形成图案。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于用粘着剂印刷图案,并将粉末装饰材料或功能材料施加其上。
3.根据权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于印刷厚度为1-30微米厚的粘着剂层。
4.根据权利要求1~3中任何一项权利要求所述的方法,其特证在于印刷是喷墨打印。
5.根据前述任何一项权利要求之一所述的方法,其特征在于生产装饰转印件,上述材料是粉末或薄片状的彩饰着色材料。
6.根据前述任何一项权利要求之一所述的方法其特征在于转印件是装饰性的,装饰材料或功能材料是一种或多种陶瓷颜料、贵金属粉末和/或薄片以及闪光的或云母型颜料。
7.根据前述任何一项权利要求之一所述方法,其特征在于转印件是装饰性的,装饰或功能材料是陶瓷颜料,该陶瓷颜料中包含颜料和助熔剂,助熔剂与颜料的重量比为0.1~9份的助熔剂:1份颜料。
8.根据前述权利要求中任何一项权利要求所述的方法,其特征在于用不同的装饰材料或功能材料重复进行这些步骤,以形成多色彩或合成效果的转印件。

15.一种在物品上形成装饰或功能图案的方法,该方法包括将如权利要求9~14中任何一项权利要求所述的转印件或按照权利要求1~8中任何一项权利要求所述方法制造的转印件上的图案转印到物品上。
16.根据权利要求15所述的方法,其特征在于图案转印后要对物品进行焙烧。
17.根据权利要求16所述的方法,其特征在于该物品是陶瓷或玻璃。
