Abstract
一种用于化工行业中的金属表面锌基水溶性防腐涂料,它的产品配方包括由锌粉、铝粉或锌铝合金粉与水溶性低分子量烷基醇化合物混合成的A组分,由铬酐、铬酸钾或重铬酸钾,磷酸或磷酸二氢钠,PH值调节剂与去离子水组成的B组分及由分散剂,增稠剂与去离子水混合成的C组分。其制备方法是将A组分与C组分混合均匀后,加入B组分搅拌均匀。该产品代替镀锌,无污染、无氢脆、渗透性好、结合力强、高耐蚀性、耐热性及优异的耐候性。
Description
本发明涉及化工行业中对金属表面进行防腐处理的一种涂料。
目前国内外化工行业中对金属表面防腐处理一直解决的不太理想。镀锌是一种常用的钢铁防腐方法。但这种方法污染严重,耗能大,电镀过程中会产生氢脆,易造成材质脆化和使用断裂的现象。镀锌层使用温度受钝化膜老化温度的限制,只能在100℃以下使用,有很大的局限性。且抗腐蚀能力较差,不适于在恶劣的环境下使用。热浸锌层的耐腐蚀性大大高于电镀锌,但其能耗和污染更为严重,且浸锌膜层厚度大,精度差,不适于精密零件和紧固件。70年代初期,美国DIAMOND SHAMROCK公司发明了金属防锈达克罗处理新技术。达克罗膜层又称锌基铬酸盐涂层,外观为均匀银灰色,膜层中含80%的锌和铝,其余为铬酸盐。由于其具有传统电镀、浸镀无法比拟的优点,因而被广泛应用。但该涂料中使用大量有机溶剂,成本高,有毒性,且涂层与基体的结合力较差。因此研制一种金属表面锌基水溶性防腐涂料一直是国内外急待解决的课题。
本发明的目的在于提供一种可以取代电镀锌和热浸锌、使金属防腐蚀工艺简单、降低成本、减少污染、提高金属表面的耐蚀性及装饰性的金属表面锌基水溶性防腐涂料。
本发明的目的是这样实现的:它的产品配方是铬酐、铬酸钾或重铬酸钾3-15%,磷酸或磷酸二氢钠0-10%,PH值调节剂0-5%,锌粉、铝粉或锌铝合金粉15-40%,水溶性低分子量烷基醇化合物15-30%,分散剂0-0.4%,增稠剂0-0.5%,去离子水20-60%;它的产品由三组分组成,A组分包括锌粉、铝粉或锌铝合金粉和水溶性低分子量的烷基醇化合物,锌粉、铝粉或锌铝合金粉是片状的,厚度为0.05-0.3μm,直径不大于15μm,水溶性低分子量的烷基醇化合物包括2-乙氧基乙醇、2-丁氧基乙醇、丙二醇、一缩二丙二醇、一缩二乙二醇,B组分包括铬酐、铬酸钾或重铬酸钾、磷酸或磷酸二氢钠、PH值调节剂及去离子水,PH调节剂是碱金属、碱土金属、锌或镉的氧化物或氢氧化物,C组分包括分散剂、增稠剂及去离子水,分散剂为脂肪醇聚氧乙烯醚类非离子表面活性剂,增稠剂是水溶性的纤维素酯类;三组分比例A∶B∶C=35-55∶45-65∶0-1,将A组分与C组分混合后加入B组分,搅拌均匀,控制PH=3-6。本发明涂料中的A组分是由42-72%的锌粉、铝粉或锌铝合金粉及28-58%的水溶性低分子量的烷基醇化合物组成;B组分是由5-40%的铬酐、铬酸钾或重铬酸钾,0-20%的磷酸或磷酸二氢钠,0-10%PH值调节剂及20-95%去离子水组成;C组分由0-40%的分散剂,0-50%的增稠剂及10-100%去离子水组成。本发明的要点在于它的产品配方组合。其原理和使用方法是,涂料在涂装过程中发生如下反应:
涂装后的金属件被加热到100-350℃,涂料中的六价铬被还原,生成不溶于水的无定形的nCr2O3·mCrO3,它成为结合剂,与表面数十层锌片,铝片或锌铝合金片相互结合,形成厚约4-8μm的膜层,同时,涂料中的铬酸、磷酸使鳞片状金属粉和基体金属材料表面钝化、磷化,产生牢固的附着力和高的耐蚀性。这种独特的多层保护功能,使本发明的金属防护涂层具有其它表面处理无法比拟的耐蚀性和附着力。为使本发明的涂料与金属基体有良好的结合力,涂装前应去除零件表面的油污、浮锈及氧化皮。具体工艺可选用有机溶剂脱脂、碱液清洗、振动研磨、喷沙、喷丸等等。高强度钢零件应避免采用酸洗,以免引起氢脆并导致膜层耐蚀性能下降。涂装时可选用喷涂、刷涂、浸渍—吹干(甩干、沥干)等工艺。金属基体均匀涂覆本发明的涂料后,应将零件置于50-100℃循环热风炉中干燥,去除涂料中的水份;然后升温至200-350℃使膜层硬化。烘烤时间由零件大小、壁厚等因素决定,一般10-30分钟即可。
金属表面锌基水溶性防腐涂料与现有技术相比具有以下优点:
1、无污染,本发明涂料处理过程中,从前处理到最后烘烤,没有水漂洗工序,因此不存在废水排放问题。在烘烤过程中,挥发的物质几乎全是水,不含任何规定控制的有害物质。
2、超常的耐蚀性。经本发明涂料处理过的零件按国标GB6458规范进行盐雾腐蚀试验,其耐蚀性是传统电镀锌的7-10倍,厚度为8μm的本发明膜层耐盐雾腐蚀的时间通常超过1000h,甚至可到2000h以上。这是电镀锌和热浸锌所做不到的。
3、高耐热性。本发明涂层耐热温度达300℃,250℃下连续长期使用,其防锈能力完全不受影响。而一般电镀锌层,表面的铬酸盐钝化膜在70℃左右即开始被破坏,抗腐蚀能力急剧下降。
4、极好的渗透性。本发明涂料渗透能力极强,对于形状复杂、有凹槽孔隙的零件及管件内部均能渗入,形成均匀的保护膜。
5、优异的耐候性与耐化学品稳定性。各种油料、有机溶剂和清洁剂对本发明涂层的防护性能没有影响。在循环试验和大气暴露试验中,该涂层显示出优异的耐候性能,经本发明涂料处理过的制品,可长期应用于沿海地区、工业地区,即使暴露在大气污染严重的地区也不易腐蚀。
6、无氢脆。本发明涂料处理过程中不进行酸洗,也没有导致析氢的电化学反应发生。因此特别适合于处理弹性零件和高强度钢工件。
7、良好的装饰性。本发明涂层外观为银灰色,可与铝型材相媲美。且与各种油漆、涂料具有良好的结合力,可以做各种油漆底层。
8、涂层与基体有良好的结合力,按GB2649附录三方法做锤击试验,涂层与基体结合良好,无分层、脱落现象。
下面结合实例对本发明作进一步说明。
实例1、400克厚度小于0.05μm、直径不大于3μm的锌片及600克丙二醇混合组成A组分。200克重铬酸钾,50克磷酸二氢钙及750克去离子水混合组成B组分。将480克B组分加入520克A组分中,搅拌均匀。中碳钢试片用有机溶液除油,振动磨光,表面均匀喷涂本涂料后,放入循环热风炉,加热至300℃,保温至少2分钟,取出空冷。
实例2、400克厚度0.1-0.3μm、直径不5-15μm的锌片及600克丙二醇混合组成A组分。200克铬酐,50克磷酸钙,10克氧化钙及740克去离子水混合组成B组分。20克平平加,28克羟乙基纤维素及52克去离子水混合组成C组分。将5克C组分与520克A组分混合均匀后,加入485克B组分,搅拌均匀,PH值为5,实施方法同实例1。
Claims (6)
1、一种金属表面锌基水溶性防腐涂料,其特征在于:它的产品配方是铬酐、铬酸钾或重铬酸钾3-15%,磷酸或磷酸二氢钠0-10%,PH值调节剂0-5%,锌粉、铝粉或锌铝合金粉15-40%,水溶性低分子量烷基醇化合物15-30%,分散剂0-0.4%,增稠剂0-0.5%,去离子水20-60%;它的产品由三组分组成,A组分包括锌粉、铝粉或锌铝合金粉和水溶性低分子量的烷基醇化合物,B组分包括铬酐、铬酸钾或重铬酸钾、磷酸或磷酸二氢钠、PH值调节剂及去离子水,C组分包括分散剂、增稠剂及去离子水;三组分比例A∶B∶C=35-55∶45-65∶0-1,将A组分与C组分混合后加入B组分,搅拌均匀,控制PH=3-6。
2、根据权利要求1所述的金属表面锌基水溶性防腐涂料,其特征在于:所说的PH调节剂是碱金属、碱土金属、锌或镉的氧化物或氢氧化物。
3、根据权利要求1所述的金属表面锌基水溶性防腐涂料,其特征在于:所说的锌粉、铝粉或锌铝合金粉是片状的,厚度为0.05-0.3μm,直径不大于15μm。
4、根据权利要求1所述的金属表面锌基水溶性防腐涂料,其特征在于:所说的分散剂为脂肪醇聚氧乙烯醚类非离子表面活性剂。
5、根据权利要求1所述的金属表面锌基水溶性防腐涂料,其特征在于:所说的增稠剂是水溶性的纤维素酯类。
6、根据权利要求1所述的金属表面锌基水溶性防腐涂料,其特征在于:所说的水溶性低分子量的烷基醇化合物包括2-乙氧基乙醇、2-丁氧基乙醇、丙二醇、一缩二丙二醇、一缩二乙二醇。
