Abstract
一种电连接器,包括具有端子槽的绝缘本体及端子;所述端子包括固定在端子槽内的竖直板、弹性部以及接脚,所述弹性部设有接触部,所述接脚预焊接有锡球;所述竖直板包括固定在所述端子槽内的第一固持部与第二固持部,所述弹性部自所述第一固持部延伸出,所述第一固持部与第二固持部的外侧缘均设有倒刺结构,以与对应端子槽相固定干涉配合,不仅使得端子更好地固定在对应的端子槽内,也会对弹性臂及接触部形成有效支撑,进而保证了电连接器与芯片模组的可靠对接配合。
Description
本发明为申请人在2017年09月18日申请的发明专利第201710841375.4号发明名称为「电连接器」的分案申请。
【技术领域】
本发明有关一种电连接器,其用来供中央处理器(CPU)等芯片模组的安装。
【背景技术】
相关现有技术可参阅中国实用新型专利CN2800522Y号、CN2572582Y号以及美国发明专利US7322829B2号所公告的用来供中央处理器(CPU)等芯片模组安装的连接器。该等连接器包括具有若干端子槽的绝缘本体及收容在对应端子槽内的端子,该等端子包括固定在对应端子槽内的基部、自基部一侧延伸的侧臂、自侧臂的上端倾斜延伸的弹性臂以及自基部的底部水平弯折延伸的尾部。其中,尾部上连接有焊球等焊接元件,用以将电连接器端子电性连接至印刷电路板上;弹性臂的末端设有凸出的接触部,以与芯片模组对接配合。
在该等现有技术中,端子的基部两侧通过设置倒刺结构与端子槽干涉配合进而将端子固定在对应的端子槽内。在芯片模组与接触部对接配合时,接触部会发生移动并带动弹性臂发生弹性变形,弹性臂受力变形后也必然会对侧臂产生作用力,然而由于端子的侧臂与基部之间形成一定夹角,该等侧臂在端子槽内无法进行有效固定,致使无法对弹性臂及接触部形成有效支撑,进而导致端子的接触部与芯片模组不能进行稳定的接触配合。
因此,确有必要提供一种改良后的电连接器,以克服上述缺陷。
【发明内容】
本发明的目的在于提供一种可与芯片模组进行可靠对接配合的电连接器。
为实现上述目的,本发明采用如下技术方案:一种电连接器,其包括具有若干端子槽的绝缘本体及收容在所述端子槽内的端子;所述绝缘本体具有相对设置的上表面与下表面,所述端子槽贯穿所述上、下表面;所述导电端子包括固定在所述端子槽内的竖直板、自竖直板上缘弯折延伸的弹性部以及自竖直板下缘弯折延伸的接脚,所述弹性部在其自由端处设置有向上凸出的接触部,所述接脚下方预焊接有锡球;其中,所述竖直板包括固定在所述端子槽内的第一固持部与第二固持部,所述弹性部自所述第一固持部延伸出,所述第一固持部与第二固持部的外侧缘均设有与所述端子槽相固定配合的倒刺。
与现有技术相比,本发明的端子在第一固持部与第二固持部的外侧缘均设有倒刺结构,以与对应端子槽相固定干涉配合,不仅使得端子更好地固定在对应的端子槽内,也可以保证对应的弹性臂及接触部得到有效支撑,进而保证了电连接器与芯片模组的可靠对接配合。

如下具体实施方式将结合上述附图进一步说明本发明。
【具体实施方式】
以下,将结合图示介绍本发明电连接器的具体实施方式。
在图1至图6所示的第一实施例中,电连接器100用于连接中央处理器(CPU)等芯片模块(未图示)至电路板(未图示)。参阅图1至图3所示,电连接器100包括具有若干端子槽11的绝缘本体10、收容在端子槽11内的端子20、一一预焊接至端子20末端的焊球30。所述端子20呈矩阵排列。在适用中央处理器的电连接器中,端子数量高达数千根,端子阻抗一般设定在85欧姆,上下浮动15欧姆之间的预定值,因端子的宽度与其提供的力量有很大的关联性,若单根端子的宽度较大,力量过大,数千根端子的整体力量则远远超过预定值,若将宽度降低,阻抗却快速升高,超过预定数值。
所述绝缘本体10具有上表面101与下表面102,端子槽11贯穿上、下表面。端子20包括固定在端子槽11内的竖直板21、自竖直板上缘弯折延伸出的弹性部22以及自竖直板下缘弯折延伸出绝缘本体下表面102的接脚23,弹性部22呈平板状且位于上表面101的上方,弹性部在其自由端处设置有向上凸出的接触部211。弹性部22为呈宽度逐渐缩小的悬臂梁结构,图6清楚可见,以保证机械性能。从图1可以看出,延伸部24位于上表面101的上方,或者延伸部24的平面与上表面101向平齐。
结合图4至图6,所述竖直板21在其上缘处向内弯折出延伸部24,延伸部24呈平板状且位于弹性部22与上表面101之间,弹性部22与延伸部24彼此面对面而部分重叠,使得两者之间产生电容效应,如图5双箭头之间所示位置。在最佳实施方式中,弹性部22与延伸部24彼此平行最好。适当的降低弹性部22的宽度(图6双箭头所示),保证其具有预定的机械性能,同时,延伸部24与弹性部22的电容效应则降低了整个端子阻抗,使其达到预定阻抗值。
本实施例中,竖直板21包括固定在端子槽内的第一固持部211与第二固持部212,第一固持部与第二固持部彼此面对面设置且两者之间连接有中间部213,弹性部22自第一固持部211延伸出,延伸部24自第二固持部212上缘延伸出,接脚23自中间部213向内弯折延伸出。第一、第二固持部的外侧缘均设有倒刺2111,用来与端子槽的固定槽(图面未可见)相固定。竖直板21的结构大体呈竖直结构,在具体实施中,有部分可能会有些倾斜,比如第一固持部211在芯片模组的装入抵压弹性部22后会作小角度的倾斜。
参图2、图3所示,所述端子20中包括信号端子20S及围绕接地端子的接地端子20G,绝缘本体在其下表面102设置有凹槽12,凹槽12涂覆有比如锡膏等接地物质40而将相邻的接地端子的接脚23G彼此形成电性连接,以实现对其中信号端子20S更好地保护,降低谐振等高频不良影响。在实际生产中,锡球30先预焊接在端子接脚23,待高温过炉将电连接器焊接在主机板时,锡球熔融变形,而将接地端子的接脚23与接地物质40相电性导接在一起。当然在其他实施例中,直接将接地物质设置成与接地端子的接脚23G直接电性连接。
在图7显示的第二实施例中,第一、第二固持部215、216彼此垂直,弹性部22自所述第一固持部215延伸出,延伸部25自第二固持部216上缘延伸出,接脚23呈平板状且自第一固持部215延伸出。第一、第二固持部则固定在端子槽内的固定槽112内。如此,延伸部25与弹性部22之间亦产生电容效应,从而改善阻抗问题。
在图8至图11显示的第三实施例中,则揭示了另一种解决方案,弹性部22的宽度缩减以便满足降低力量之机械性能,同时弹性部22的两个侧边分别弯折出延伸部26,以便实现阻抗降低又不过度影响机械性能之需求。参图面所示,该端子及绝缘本体的结构与第一实施例大致相同,主要的区别在于,延伸部26并非自竖直板21的上缘弯折延伸,延伸部26是弹性部沿宽度方向的两侧凸伸出,并向下弯折而形成。从图10可以看出,弹性部22的宽度(图10双箭头指示的方向)从自与竖直板21相连的根部急剧变小,延伸部26适当弥补急剧变小带来的阻抗急剧上升的影响。从图10至图11可以看出,延伸部26在其宽度方向的延伸范围并未超出竖直板21在该方向上的范围,延伸部26向下延伸但并未超过竖直板21所在的范围。从图8可以看出,延伸部26位于绝缘本体上表面101的上方。所述延伸部26大致位于弹性部的弯折根部与接触部之间的位置。

Claims (9)
1.一种电连接器,其包括具有若干端子槽的绝缘本体及收容在所述端子槽内的端子;所述绝缘本体具有相对设置的上表面与下表面,所述端子槽贯穿所述上、下表面;所述端子包括固定在所述端子槽内的竖直板、自竖直板上缘弯折延伸的弹性部以及自竖直板下缘弯折延伸的接脚,所述弹性部在其自由端处设置有向上凸出的接触部,所述接脚下方预焊接有锡球;其特征在于:所述竖直板包括固定在所述端子槽内的第一固持部与第二固持部,所述弹性部自所述第一固持部延伸出,所述第一固持部与第二固持部的外侧缘均设有与所述端子槽相固定配合的倒刺。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一、第二固持部彼此垂直,所述弹性部自所述第一固持部的上端弯折延伸,所述接脚呈平板状且自第一固持部的下端弯折延伸,并且所述弹性部与接脚均位于对应第一固持部的同一侧。
3.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述端子槽还包括向下贯穿绝缘本体下表面的固定槽,所述倒刺分别位于对应第一固持部与第二固持部外侧缘的最下方并且分别收容固定在对应的固定槽内。
4.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述设于对应第一固持部及第二固持部外侧缘的倒刺分别设置成上下间隔的一对。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述每一对倒刺中位于下方的倒刺小于位于上方的倒刺。
6.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一固持部与第二固持部彼此面对面且平行设置,所述竖直板还包括连接至第一固持部与第二固持部之间的中间部。
7.如权利要求6所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述接脚自所述中间部的下端弯折延伸,并且所述接脚与第一、第二固持部相互间隔设置。
8.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述端子中包括信号端子及围绕信号端子的接地端子,所述绝缘本体在其下表面设有凹槽,所述凹槽涂覆有接地物质而将相邻的接地端子的接脚彼此形成电性连接。
9.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述弹性部位于所述绝缘本体上表面的上方,所述弹性部呈平板状且与所述绝缘本体的上表面彼此平行。
