Abstract
The application discloses a flexible cover plate, which is provided with a bending area and a non-bending area, wherein the flexible cover plate comprises a flexible substrate and a hard coating covering the flexible substrate; the thickness of the flexible cover plate corresponding to the bending area part is smaller than that of the flexible cover plate corresponding to the non-bending area. The application also provides a flexible display device prepared by using the flexible cover plate. The application provides a flexible cover plate and flexible display device will be located the flexible cover plate thickness that the regional part of bending is corresponding and make the attenuate processing, makes flexible cover plate have better resistant bending performance when buckling repeatedly, has further promoted the use experience of flexible display device after the process of buckling.

Technical Field
The application relates to the technical field of display, in particular to a flexible cover plate and a flexible display device.
Background
With the advent of samsung and china for the release of folding screens, foldable cell phones have become a selling point for cell phone end vendors. The design of folding the mobile phone and unfolding the mobile phone into a flat plate attracts the attention of many consumers. The embodiment of the application provides a flexible cover plate and flexible display device, can promote the anti performance of buckling of flexible cover plate to solve current flexible cover plate and flexible display device, at the flexible display screen in-process of buckling repeatedly, the apron can appear and peel off or ageing and form obvious crease scheduling problem, has further influenced flexible display device's display effect's technical problem.
The embodiment of the application provides a flexible cover plate, which is provided with a bending area and a non-bending area, wherein the flexible cover plate comprises a flexible substrate and a hard coating covering the flexible substrate;
the thickness of the flexible cover plate corresponding to the bending area part is smaller than that of the flexible cover plate corresponding to the non-bending area.
In some embodiments, the surface of the hard coating layer far away from the flexible substrate is provided with a groove structure in a corresponding area of the bending area.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the depth of the groove structure is smaller than the thickness of the hard coating.
In some embodiments, the groove structure includes a plurality of sub-grooves, and the plurality of sub-grooves are spaced apart from each other by taking a bending central line of the bending region as a symmetry axis.
In some embodiments, the adjacent two sub-grooves have equal spacing.
In some embodiments, a thickness of a portion of the flexible substrate located in the bending region is less than a thickness of a portion of the flexible substrate located in the non-bending region.
In some embodiments, the outer surface of the portion of the flexible substrate located in the bending region is a curved surface, and the thickness of the corresponding flexible substrate is smaller as the portion is closer to the bending centerline a of the bending region.
In some embodiments, the material of the flexible substrate includes at least one of organic compounds such as polyethylene terephthalate, polyimide, cyclic olefin polymer, epoxy resin compound, and inorganic materials such as thinned glass.
In some embodiments, the hard coating has a hardness greater than a hardness of the flexible substrate.
The embodiment of the application also provides a flexible display device, which comprises a flexible display panel and the flexible cover plate arranged on the flexible display panel.
The flexible cover plate and the flexible display device provided by the embodiment of the application have the advantages that the thickness of the flexible cover plate corresponding to the bending region part is thinned, so that the flexible cover plate has better bending resistance when being repeatedly bent, and the use experience of the flexible display device after the bending process is further improved.

Specifically, the hard coat layer 14 may be a transparent inorganic material, such as an inorganic material including siloxane, and may maintain its physical properties in an unusually wide temperature range (-100 ℃ to 250 ℃), resulting in a protective material with high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, good stability, and good water repellency and dielectric properties.

In the first embodiment of the flexible cover plate provided in the embodiment of the present application, after the hard coating is deposited on the surface of the flexible substrate, a groove is formed near a bending centerline a in a bending region of the flexible substrate. The flexible cover plate is provided with a bending area 11 and a non-bending area 12, the flexible cover plate further comprises a flexible substrate 13 and a hard coating 14 covering the flexible substrate 13, and the thickness of the flexible cover plate corresponding to a partial area of the bending area 11 is smaller than that of the flexible cover plate corresponding to the non-bending area 12.
Specifically, the thickness of the flexible substrate 13 at the bending region 11 is smaller than that of the flexible substrate 13 at the non-bending region 12.
Preferably, the outer surface of the flexible substrate 13 at the bending region 11 is a curved surface, and the thickness of the corresponding flexible substrate 13 decreases as the bending centerline a of the bending region 11 is closer.
Specifically, the material of the flexible substrate 13 includes at least one of organic compounds such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET), Polyimide (PI), cycloolefin polymer (COP), and epoxy resin compound, and inorganic materials such as thinned glass. Preferably, the flexible substrate 13 is made of polyimide.

The flexible cover plate and the flexible display device provided by the embodiment of the application have the advantages that the thickness of the flexible cover plate corresponding to the bending region part is thinned, so that the flexible cover plate has better bending resistance when being repeatedly bent, and the use experience of the flexible display device after the bending process is further improved.

Claims (10)
1. A flexible cover plate is provided with a bending area and a non-bending area and is characterized by comprising a flexible substrate and a hard coating covering the flexible substrate;
the thickness of the flexible cover plate corresponding to the bending area part is smaller than that of the flexible cover plate corresponding to the non-bending area.
2. The flexible cover sheet of claim 1, wherein a side of the hard coating layer remote from the flexible substrate has a groove structure in a region corresponding to the bending region.
3. The flexible cover sheet of claim 2, wherein the depth of the groove structure is less than the thickness of the hard coating.
4. The flexible cover sheet of claim 3, wherein the groove structure comprises a plurality of sub-grooves spaced apart from each other about a bend centerline of the bending region.
5. The flexible cover of claim 4, wherein adjacent subslots are equally spaced.
6. The flexible cover sheet of claim 1, wherein a portion of the flexible substrate at the inflection region has a thickness less than a portion of the flexible substrate at the non-inflection region.
7. The flexible cover sheet according to claim 6, wherein the outer surface of the flexible substrate at the bending region is curved, and the thickness of the corresponding flexible substrate decreases closer to the bending centerline a of the bending region.
8. The flexible cover according to claim 1, wherein the material of the flexible substrate comprises at least one of organic compounds such as polyethylene terephthalate, polyimide, cyclic olefin polymer, epoxy resin compound, and inorganic materials such as thinned glass.
9. The flexible cover sheet of claim 1, wherein the hard coating has a hardness greater than a hardness of the flexible substrate.
10. A flexible display device comprising a flexible display panel and the flexible cover sheet of any one of claims 1-9 disposed over the flexible display panel.
