As shown in fig. 1, 4 and 5, the display panel 2 includes an array substrate 7, a color filter substrate 8 and a liquid crystal layer (not shown) disposed between the array substrate 7 and the color filter substrate 8, which are disposed oppositely; the fingerprint induction layer 5 is arranged on one side of the color film substrate 8, which is deviated from the liquid crystal layer.
Therefore, the display function of the display module with the array substrate (namely the TFT layer) can be normally realized.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 4, the fingerprint sensing layer 5 includes a plurality of photosensitive elements 9, and an orthographic projection of the plurality of photosensitive elements 9 on the color filter substrate 8 is located in a black matrix BM area of the color filter substrate 8.
That is, the sensing position in the fingerprint sensing layer does not coincide with the red, green and blue RGB pixel position in the color film substrate.
Further, as shown in fig. 1, fig. 4 and fig. 5, the display module further includes: the glass cover plate 10 is arranged on one side, away from the color film substrate 8, of the fingerprint sensing layer 5.

In view of the above technical problems, embodiments of the present invention provide a display module, which can be specifically implemented as a TFT display module, and can implement application of an optical fingerprint module on a TFT display module by changing a backlight source LED (light emitting diode) lamp and a fingerprint sensor sensing layer (i.e., the above fingerprint sensing layer) of the TFT display module; specifically (the second light source takes an infrared light emitting source as an example):
the method comprises the steps of adding partial infrared non-visible light LED lamps in a plurality of LED lamps in a backlight source, and arranging a fingerprint sensor induction layer above the upper glass (as shown in figure 1) to realize fingerprint identification. In order to avoid the influence on the display of the TFT, the invisible light LED lamp is additionally arranged in the backlight, the fingerprint sensor induction layer can receive infrared invisible light, and therefore a light source required by the fingerprint induction layer is generated, and the display of the display screen is not influenced.
More specifically: the overall structure of the solution provided by the embodiment of the present invention is as shown in fig. 1, and the fingerprint sensor sensing layer is disposed above the upper glass, so that the binding (i.e., fixing) of the ITO (indium tin oxide) and the connection with other lines (i.e., the second external line) can be completed in the BD (binding) area of the upper glass.

The fingerprint sensor induction layer in the embodiment of the invention mainly realizes the induction of infrared invisible light through a photosensitive diode (as shown in figure 3); specifically, in order to prevent the photodiode of the fingerprint sensor sensing layer from blocking the pixel display of the display screen and affecting the display effect, the position of the photodiode in the embodiment of the present invention needs to avoid the RGB pixels of the color filter (i.e., the color filter substrate), as shown in fig. 4, R, G and B represent the pixel points of the color filter, and S represents the photodiode of the fingerprint sensor sensing layer. In the embodiment of the invention, the color filter can be connected with an external circuit (namely the first external circuit) after ITO is bound at the BM position of the upper glass in modes of ACF (anisotropic conductive film), conductive adhesive and the like.
As can be seen from the above, in the embodiment of the present invention, the point light source emitted by the backlight LED lamp passes through the backlight light guide plate and various films to form a surface light source, the light is emitted from the display area of the whole display screen, the emitted light reaches the finger after passing through the display screen, and then is reflected by the finger and irradiates the photodiode of the fingerprint sensor sensing layer (as shown in fig. 5), the photodiode realizes the change of resistance value after sensing to convert the optical signal into the electrical signal, and realizes the connection with the external circuit (i.e., the second external circuit) through the BD (binding) area, specifically, the electrical signal is transmitted to the external circuit through the BD.
To sum up, this scheme has realized the application of optics fingerprint module on TFT display module, has avoided sheltering from of being shaded to light above arranging fingerprint sensor response layer in last glass.
The embodiment of the invention can realize the comprehensive unlocking and the local unlocking of the screen, and can simultaneously place the second light source at different positions and different devices and meet the requirements of different applications on fingerprint identification; for example, the display screen can be applied to various terminal products such as mobile phones, PADs, fingerprint locks and AR (augmented reality) wearable devices, and transparent positions such as transparent positions of the back transparent battery cover plate and the side middle frame can be achieved as long as the transparent positions can be emitted and reflected back to the fingerprint sensor induction layer via the outside, and limitation is not required here.
