[ summary of the invention ]
The present invention provides a door assembly for a home appliance different from the prior art.
Wherein the door assembly of the household appliance has a central axis, comprising a first component at a first side of the door assembly and a second component at a second side of the door assembly, the first and second components having a first and a second edge, respectively, facing outwards away from the central axis, a collar connecting the first and second components from the outside of the first and second components, wherein the inner surface of the collar cooperates with the first and second edges, respectively, by means of groove-ribs.
As an embodiment, the first edge has a first groove structure thereon, the second edge has a second groove structure thereon, and the clamp having the first bead structure and the second bead structure connects the first component and the second component from the outside of the first component and the second component, wherein the first bead structure is engaged with the first groove structure, and the second bead structure is engaged with the second groove structure.
As a second embodiment, the first edge has a third rib structure thereon, the second edge has a fourth rib structure thereon, and the clamp having the third groove structure and the fourth groove structure connects the first component and the second component from the outside of the first component and the second component, wherein the third rib structure is engaged with the third groove structure, and the fourth rib structure is engaged with the fourth groove structure.
The home appliance may include, but is not limited to, a washing machine, a dryer, a washer-dryer, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a cooking appliance, etc., among others.
The first side and the second side are in a bilateral direction with respect to the door assembly. And "inside and outside" refer to the inside and outside of the home appliance.
Each groove structure may extend continuously or may be composed of a plurality of spaced grooves.
The clamp is connected first component and second component from the edge outside and is made the bulk strength of door subassembly strengthen, and the fit-up gap reduces, and assembly process is simple, and it is low to the mould requirement, and later stage maintenance dismantlement is convenient moreover. Since the first component and the second component are connected from the outside of the door assembly by the clip structure, a frame is prevented from being provided at the edge of the front surface of the door assembly, thereby giving the front surface of the door assembly a complete appearance.
In addition, the clip has a first end and a second end, and the first end and the second end of the clip abut at a bottom of the door assembly when the door assembly is mounted to the household appliance substantially perpendicular to a horizontal plane or inclined with respect to the horizontal plane. The docking location at the bottom of the door assembly is not easily visible to the user, thus being visually more complete and aesthetically pleasing.
The butt joint line of the first end and the second end of the clamp can be located vertically below the central shaft of the door assembly, so that a user can observe the butt joint line more difficultly, and the attractiveness of the product is improved.
The door assembly includes a third component positioned between the first component and the second component, the third component having an end wall proximate the clip, the first end and the second end of the clip being fixedly coupled to the end wall of the third component.
The first edge and the second edge should generally be of regular shape, e.g. circular, oval, square, etc.
A further advantageous development comprises that the side of the clamping band facing outwards away from the central axis has a decorative surface. Wherein the decorative cover may be used in any suitable manner to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the door assembly. For example, the decorative surface may be decorated with patterns, painted with paint, embedded or adhered with decorations, etc. Compared with the components such as a frame and the like in the prior art, the material selection of the clamp is wider, the processing technology is more free, and therefore more diversified decoration surfaces can be formed.
The invention also provides a household appliance comprising the door assembly. The household appliance may comprise various household appliances suitable for mounting the above door assembly, including but not limited to the application areas exemplified in the specific embodiments.
Such a home appliance may be a laundry treating apparatus, such as a washing machine, a dryer, a washer-dryer, etc.
Hereinafter, specific embodiments of the present invention will be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[ detailed description ] embodiments
As shown in fig. 1, a door assembly 1 of a washing machine has a substantially circular structure, has a central axis 2, and is assembled from a plurality of components. Wherein the door glass assembly 10 and the bezel assembly 20 are each pre-assembled. The door glass assembly 10 includes a frame 11 and a glass 12. The bezel assembly 20 includes a bezel 21 corresponding to the frame 11, and a functional part, such as an indicator light group 22. The bezel assembly 20 and the door glass assembly 10 are assembled and fixed to each other, for example, by means of a rotating hook. The outer side of the bezel assembly 20 is covered by a transparent protective cover 30.
As shown in fig. 2A and 2B, a first edge 13 of the door glass assembly 10 facing outward away from the central axis 2 has a first groove 14 extending circumferentially. A second edge 31 of the boot 30 facing outwards away from the central axis 2 has a circumferentially extending second groove 32. In fig. 1, the first grooves 14 are continuously extending, and the second grooves 32 are discontinuous. In practical applications, the first groove 14 and the second groove 32 are continuously or discontinuously disposed according to practical requirements, and are not limited.
The first edge 13 and the second edge 31 are substantially circular.
The clip 40 connects the door glass assembly 10 and the protective cover 30 from the outside of the door glass assembly 10 and the protective cover 30 and sandwiches the bezel assembly 20 between the door glass assembly 10 and the protective cover 30.
As shown in fig. 3A and 3B, the clip 40 has first and second circumferentially extending ribs 41 and 42 that are positioned and shaped to mate with the first and second grooves 14 and 32, respectively. Then, in the assembled state, as shown in fig. 2A and 2B, the first rib 41 is fitted with the first groove 14; the second rib 42 cooperates with the second groove 32 to provide axial retention and radial enclosure from the door glass assembly 10 and the protective cover 30.
As shown in FIG. 1, the clip 40 is a sheet-like structure having a first end 43 and a second end 44. When the door assembly 1 is mounted to the washing machine substantially perpendicular to the horizontal plane or inclined with respect to the horizontal plane, the first end 43 and the second end 44 of the clip abut at the bottom of the door assembly. More preferably, the butt line 45 of the first and second ends 43, 44 of the clip 40 is located vertically below the central axis 2 of the door assembly 1, thereby making it less visible to the user and enhancing the aesthetics of the product.
The bezel assembly 20 has an end wall 21 that abuts the clip 40. The first and second ends 43, 44 of the clip are fixedly attached to the end wall 21 of the trim ring assembly 20.
The side of the clip 40 facing outwards from the central shaft 2 has a decorative surface 46. Wherein the decorative cover may be used in any suitable manner to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the door assembly. For example, the decorative surface may be decorated with patterns, painted with paint, embedded or adhered with decorations, etc.
The various embodiments described above and shown in the drawings are merely illustrative of the invention. Any modification of the present invention by a person of ordinary skill in the related art within the scope of the basic technical idea of the present invention is within the scope of the present invention.
