Step 201, displaying the media file in a first mode on a first playing page.
Step 202, in response to detecting an event of switching media files and that the playing condition of the media files meets a preset condition when a first mode is adopted, switching to displaying the media files in a second mode on a first playing page, wherein the second mode is used for simultaneously displaying more media files on the first playing page compared with the first mode. And when the media file is displayed on the first playing page in the second mode, a preset component is displayed on the first playing page, the preset component indicates to view more media files in the second mode, and if the event triggered by the preset component is detected, the step 204 is executed.
Step 203, switching back to displaying the media file in the first mode on the first playing page.
Step 204, jumping to a second playing page, and displaying the media file in a second mode on the second playing page. When the media file is displayed in the second mode on the second playing page, if an event of switching the media file is detected, step 205 is executed.
And 205, switching the media file displayed in the second mode on a second playing page.
According to the method and the device, the playing condition of the media file meets the preset condition when the first mode is adopted, the requirements of the user are immediately met when the requirements of the user are not met, the media file is displayed in the second mode for the user to switch, and the user can browse information of the plurality of media files at the same time by simultaneously displaying the plurality of media files, so that the user use experience and efficiency are improved.
In addition, when the second mode is adopted to display the media file on the first playing page, the user can switch back to the first mode to continue playing the media file by using the operation of switching the media file, so that the operation mode is simple and quick, the use habit of the user is more met, and when the user does not want to use the second mode, the user can switch back to the first mode in time, and the operation cost is low. And when the second mode is adopted on the first playing page to display the media files, if the user wants to view more media files in the second mode, the user can jump to the second playing page by triggering a preset component on the first playing page, and the media files are switched on the second playing page in the second mode to display more media files, so that the efficiency of acquiring the media files by the user is improved, and the use experience of the user is further improved.
Each step in the above-described flow and effects that can be further produced are described in detail below with reference to examples. It should be noted that, the limitations of "first", "second", and the like in this disclosure are not limited in size, order, and number, and are merely used to distinguish between the two modes by name, e.g., the "first mode" and the "second mode". For another example, "first play page" and "second play page" are used to distinguish the two play pages by name. Etc.
The above step 201, i.e. "show media file in first mode on first playing page", will be described in detail with reference to the embodiments.
As one of the possible manners, the first mode involved in the embodiment of the present application may be to display the media files in a single column manner on the playing page, or may be to display the media files in a single row manner.
The media files referred to in embodiments of the present application may be video, audio, or an atlas.
The video may be a long video or a short video. The distinction between long video and short video is mainly embodied in terms of duration, content, production mode, etc. of video. The long video is usually longer than several tens of minutes, the content is complete and deep, the content quality is relatively high, professional shooting, editing, sound effects and other teams are usually needed to finish the process together, the production period is long, and the needed resource investment is more, for example, movies, television shows, documentaries and the like belong to the long video. Short videos are usually within tens of minutes and minutes, the content is usually short, refined and mainly stands out a certain bright spot or fast information transfer, the production is relatively simple, the mobile phone or other portable equipment is often used for shooting, the later editing is relatively easy, the short videos are more focused on fast production and fast transmission, the timeliness is emphasized, and for example, some smiling videos, life recorded videos, advertisement videos, short dramas and the like belong to the short videos.
In addition, the video may be a horizontal screen video or a vertical screen video. The term "horizontal screen video" refers to a video having a video frame with a width larger than a height, which is more suitable for viewing on a wide-screen device (e.g., television, computer) than the natural field of vision of human eyes. The vertical screen video is a video with a video picture with a height larger than a width, is more suitable for being watched on narrow screen equipment (such as smart phones and tablet computers), and is more popular in the fields of social media, short videos and the like.
Wherein the audio may be speech, music, ambient sound, etc. By speech is meant sounds made by humans, including speaking, singing, etc. By music is meant an artistic form of rhythmic, melodic and vocal composition. The environmental sound refers to sounds in natural or artificial environments, such as wind sounds, rain sounds, car flow sounds, and the like.
Where an atlas refers to a collection comprising a plurality of pictures. The pictures in the set of pictures typically have similar topics or categories.
In the first mode, the user may effect the switching of the media file through an event that switches the media file. The event of switching the media files may include an event triggered by a specific gesture, an event triggered by the playing end of the currently played media file (for example, the user terminal is set to an automatic continuous playing state, and the next media file is automatically played after the playing end of one media file), or a voice command (for example, a voice command such as "play next"), etc.
Wherein the events triggered by the specific gesture may include a swipe gesture along a preset direction, a gesture triggering a specific component, and so on.
In fig. 3 (a) is shown that video is played in a first mode on a first play page, where typically only one video is present at a time to play, the user is able to view the video in a relatively more immersive manner. If the user adopts the upward sliding gesture, the next video can be switched to be played, and if the user adopts the downward sliding gesture, the last video can be switched to be played.
It should be noted that, in the embodiments of the present application, the "playing" refers to converting the content of the media file into an image, a sound or a combination of the two that can be directly perceived by a human being.
For the case of playing audio in a first mode on a first play page, the user may switch to play the next audio or the last audio, such as by clicking on a particular component.
For the case of playing an album in the first mode on the first playing page, the user may use an up-slide gesture to switch to play the next album, or may use a down-slide gesture to switch to play the last album. For different pictures in the same picture set, the user can adopt a left sliding gesture to switch to play the next picture, and can also adopt a right sliding gesture to switch to play the previous picture.
The following describes the step 202 in detail, namely, "switching to displaying the media file in the second mode on the first playing page in response to the playing status of the media file in the first mode meeting the preset condition" in connection with the embodiment.
In the embodiment of the application, when the first mode is adopted, the playing condition of the media file is detected, and the requirement of the user is identified according to whether the playing condition of the media file meets the preset condition.
The preset conditions may include, but are not limited to, the following:
the first preset condition is that when the first mode is adopted, the average playing time length of the media file is smaller than or equal to a preset time length threshold value.
If the average playing time length of the media files is smaller than or equal to the preset time length threshold value, the fact that the watching or listening requirements of the user are possibly not met is indicated, and a second mode is used for the user to display more media files at the same time, so that the user can find interesting media files faster, and efficiency and experience of the user are improved. The duration threshold may be an empirical value or an experimental value, for example, set to 10 seconds, and indicates that the user is not satisfied with the played media file when the average playing duration of the media file watched or listened to by the user is less than or equal to 10 seconds.
The time length threshold can be set in a personalized way, and corresponding time length thresholds are set for users according to watching or listening habits of different users.
And the second preset condition is that the complete play rate of the media file is smaller than or equal to a preset complete play rate threshold value when the first mode is adopted.
If the complete play rate of the media files is smaller than or equal to the preset complete play rate threshold value, the fact that the watching or listening requirements of the user are possibly not met is indicated, and a second mode is used for the user to display more media files at the same time, so that the user can find interesting media files faster, and efficiency and experience of the user are improved. The full play threshold may be an empirical value or an experimental value, for example, set to 20%, and indicates that the user is not satisfied with the played media file when the full play of the media file watched or listened to by the user is less than or equal to 20%.
The complete play rate threshold can be set in a personalized way, and corresponding complete play rate threshold is set for users according to watching or listening habits of different users.
And a third preset condition that the fast cutting rate of the media file is larger than or equal to a preset fast cutting rate threshold value when the first mode is adopted.
The fast cut rate may be defined as a ratio of the media files with a playing duration less than or equal to a preset duration threshold to the played media files.
If the cut-out rate of the media file is greater than or equal to the preset cut-out rate threshold, the user is indicated to frequently and rapidly switch the media file when the user does not completely play the media file, the watching or listening requirement of the user may not be well met, and a second mode is used for the user to display more media files at the same time, so that the user can find the media file interested by the user more quickly, and the efficiency and experience of the user are improved.
The fast cutting rate threshold and the preset duration threshold for defining the fast cutting can be an empirical value or an experimental value, for example, the fast cutting rate threshold can be preset to be 70%, and the preset duration threshold for defining the fast cutting can be defined to be 5 seconds.
The cut-off rate threshold and the duration threshold can be set in a personalized manner, and corresponding cut-off rate threshold and preset duration threshold for defining cut-off are set for users according to watching or listening habits of different users.
And a fourth preset condition that the number of the media files which are cut quickly in the preset time length is larger than or equal to a preset cut-quickly number threshold, wherein the cut-quickly is that the playing time length is smaller than or equal to the preset time length threshold.
If the number of the media files which are cut quickly in the preset duration is greater than or equal to the preset cut-quickly number threshold, the fact that the user frequently and quickly switches the media files when the user does not play the media files completely is also indicated, and the watching or listening requirements of the user may not be met well is indicated for the user in the second mode, so that the user can find the media files interested by the user more quickly, and the efficiency and experience of the user are improved.
The fast-cutting number threshold and the time length threshold for defining fast cutting may be an empirical value or an experimental value, for example, the fast-cutting number threshold may be preset to 10, and the preset time length threshold for defining fast cutting may be defined to 5 seconds.
The quick cutting number threshold and the preset time length threshold for defining quick cutting can be set in a personalized mode, and corresponding quick cutting rate threshold and the preset time length threshold for defining quick cutting are set for users according to watching or listening habits of different users.
It should be noted that the above-mentioned preset conditions may be combined to form a new preset condition, for example, the preset condition may be that when the first mode is adopted, the average playing duration of the media file is less than or equal to 10 seconds and the complete playing rate of the media file is less than or equal to 20%, or when the first mode is adopted, the cut-out rate of the media file is greater than or equal to 70% and the number of media files cut-out within the preset duration is greater than or equal to 10, etc.
If the playing condition of the media file is detected to meet the preset condition in the first mode and the event of switching the media file by the user is detected, switching to display the media file in the second mode on the first playing page in response to the condition and the event of switching the media file by the user. The second mode related to the embodiment of the application simultaneously displays more media files on the first playing page than the first mode.
It should be noted that, the user side may register a callback function or method for the event to be detected in advance, where the function or method includes logic code that needs to be executed in response to the event. Once the event is triggered, the user terminal automatically invokes a corresponding callback function or method. For example, a callback function is registered in advance for an event of switching the media file and the playing condition of the media file meets a preset condition when the first mode is adopted, and the callback function triggers the user side to switch to the second mode, namely, the media file is played on a playing page in the second mode. The response to the event in the embodiment of the present application may be implemented in this way, which will not be described in detail later.
As one of the possible manners, the second mode involved in the embodiment of the present application may be to display the media files in a multi-column manner on the playing page, or display the media files in a multi-row manner, or display the media files in a multi-row and multi-column manner. For example, as shown in fig. 3 (b), the second mode shows videos in two rows and two columns, while 4 videos are shown for the user.
As one of the realizations, when the playing condition of the media file meets the preset condition and the event of switching the media file is detected, the media file is switched to the second mode on the first playing page, for example, as shown in fig. 3 (b), when the user switches the video on the first playing page by using the up-sliding gesture and the preset condition is met, the user is switched from the first mode to the second mode on the first playing page, and a larger number of videos are simultaneously displayed for the user.
Since the switching from the first mode to the second mode on the first playing page is based on the playing status of the media file when the first mode is adopted, the user's requirement may be accurately hit, or may not be accurate. Thus, there may be a case where after switching from the first mode to the second mode for the user on the first play page, the user does not actually want to use the second mode, and may be triggered by an event of switching the media file. And the user side responds to the event of switching the media file in the second mode on the first playing page, and switches back to playing the media file in the first mode on the first playing page. For example, when the user switches the video using the up or down slide gesture on the video presented in the second mode as shown in fig. 3 (b), the user switches back to presenting the video in the first mode on the first play page, and as shown in fig. 3 (f), video six is played in the first mode on the first play page. If the upward sliding gesture is adopted, the next video may be played in the first mode, and if the downward sliding gesture is adopted, the previous video may be played in the first mode, as shown in fig. 3 (a), where the first video is played in the first mode on the first playing page.
Obviously, the mode is simple and quick in operation mode, accords with the use habit of a user, and can switch back to the first mode in time when the user does not want to use the second mode, so that the operation cost is low.
As one of the realizations, when switching to the second mode on the first playing page, the switched media file may be displayed on the first playing page, where the switched media file includes a plurality of media files displayed in the second mode, that is, the display form is directly changed on the first playing page, for example, the display form is displayed from a single column to a plurality of columns. The content shown in fig. 3 (b) may be presented as part of the content in the stream instead of the switched video.
As another implementation manner, when the first playing page is switched to the second mode, a floating layer can be overlapped on the first playing page, and the media file is displayed in the second mode in the floating layer. The content of the second mode, for example as shown in fig. 3 (b), may be implemented by superimposing a floating layer on the first play page.
Still further, while the media files are presented in the second mode on the first play page, preview information of a plurality of media files is presented simultaneously, the preview information including a cover map, a thumbnail, or a media file segment. The user can simultaneously learn the outline information of a plurality of media files.
The media files displayed in the second mode may be media files recommended by the server side to the user logging in the user side. The basis for the recommendation may include, but is not limited to, the content creator the user is interested in, the user's associated user (e.g., friends), the media files the user is watching frequently, and so on.
As one of the realizations, when the media file is presented in the second mode on the first playing page, the media file segments of the plurality of media files may be sequentially played, wherein the cover map or the thumbnail is presented for the media file of the media file segment that is not played or the media file of the media file segment that is played. The user can know the outline information of a plurality of media files simultaneously, and sequentially play the fragments of the media files for the user, so that the user can further know the media files, and further determine whether to completely watch or listen to the media files.
Taking fig. 3 (b) as an example, if switching to the content, video clips of two, three, four and five videos can be sequentially played. For example, when the video clips of the video II are played, the cover diagrams of the video III, the video IV and the video V are displayed, after the video clips of the video II are played, the cover diagrams of the video II are displayed, the video clips of the video III are started to be played, and the like until the video clips of the videos are played.
Further, when the media file is displayed in the second mode on the first playing page, if the user is interested in a certain media file and triggers the preview information of the media file, the user terminal responds to the event that the preview information of the media file is triggered, and switches to playing the media file in the first mode on the first playing page. For example, as shown in fig. 3 (b), when the user triggers the preview information of the video three, the first playing page is switched from the second mode to the first mode, as shown in fig. 3 (c), and the video three is played in the first mode, so that the user can view the video three in an immersive manner in the first mode.
When the media file is presented in the second mode on the first playing page in step 201, the user's desire to browse the media file in the second mode may be accurately hit, and thus the user may desire to continue browsing more media files in the second mode. For this case, when the media file is presented on the first playing page in the second mode, a preset component may also be presented on the first playing page, where the preset component indicates to view more media files in the second mode, for example, as shown in fig. 3 (b), and the preset component is placed under the recommended video. The preset component may also be placed at other locations on the first play page, such as above the media file. When the user triggers the preset component, the user side jumps to the second playing page in response to the event that the preset component is triggered, and step 205 is executed, that is, the media file is displayed in the second mode on the second playing page, after the user triggers the preset component, for example, as shown in (d) in fig. 3, the user side jumps from the first playing page to the second playing page, and displays the recommended video in the second mode on the second playing page.
When the user performs the operation of switching the media file on the second playing page, the user side responds to the event of switching the media file, and performs step 205, that is, the media file displayed by adopting the second mode switching on the second playing page, for example, as shown in fig. 3 (d), when the user switches the video by adopting the up-sliding gesture in the second mode on the second playing page, the user side responds to the operation of the user, as shown in fig. 3 (e), and displays other recommended videos, that is, six, seven, eight and nine, by adopting the second mode switching on the second playing page.
Other manners of presentation may be used in addition to the manner of presentation of the second play page shown in fig. 3 (d) and (e). For example, the second playing page may take the form of two consecutive book pages presented by an open book, with at least one media file being presented on each book page. As shown in fig. 4 (a), the second playing page presents an open book, in which way the user's best experience is to use a cross-screen mode to display video six and video seven on two book pages, respectively.
In response to detecting a tap or swipe gesture on a book page, an animation of the book page being turned is shown as (b) in fig. 4, and a switched media file is shown on the book page shown after the animation, as shown as (c) in fig. 4, with video eight and video nine being shown on the two book pages, respectively. The user can feel like turning books on the whole, and the viewing experience of the user is enriched.
For another example, the second playing page may include category labels corresponding to a plurality of media categories, and the media files of the corresponding categories are displayed by adopting the second mode according to the selected category labels, so that the media files of the corresponding categories of other category labels are hidden. As shown in fig. 5, the second playing page may include category labels of sports, child rearing, living and travelling, and after entering the second playing page, one of the category labels may be defaulted to be in a selected state, and the user may select one of the category labels by clicking or the like. As shown in fig. 5 (a), when the category label corresponding to life is selected, the videos of the category corresponding to the category label are displayed in a double-row mode, for example, video six to video nine, and the videos corresponding to other category labels are hidden. When the user clicks the category label corresponding to child care, as shown in fig. 5 (b), the video corresponding to the category label is displayed in a double-row mode, for example, video a to video D, and the videos corresponding to other category labels are hidden.
In this way, the user can select the category of interest to play the media file on the second play page on one hand, and can quickly browse the media file to find the media file of interest under the specific category in a manner such as double-row.
