Description
本发明涉及一种有极好化学稳定性的木材防腐剂,它防止木材腐烂以及在木材上生成霉菌。
木材用于各种应用场合,例如用作结构材料、用作工业材料以及用于土木工程。长期使用,特别是长期户外使用是困难的,因为木材会因木材腐败生物引起的腐烂而受到损坏。早期的木材防腐剂含有水溶性铜化合物。这样的水溶性铜化合物带来的问题是,当这样的化合物浸渍到木材中时,随后暴露到雨水中趋向于将它们洗出,因此在户外使用时出现问题。为了解决这一问题,提出了碱性木材防腐剂,其中水溶性无机铜化合物(由至少一种选自铜盐或氧化铜的铜化合物组成)通过与氨、铵盐或胺形成络合物而增溶。
当使用这样的水溶性络合物时,制得的木材防腐剂有极好的成本效果、很好的应用性能以及对木材腐败生物如采绒草盖菌和Serpulalacrymans有效;但是,这样的防腐剂对某些类型的霉菌如青霉和asarum(细辛属菌)无效。此外,这样的组合物的碱性组分提供了促进霉菌生长的氮源。虽然与木材的腐烂不同,霉菌在木材上的生长不影响木材的强度,但它的确造成木材表面污染,从审美上看是不希望的,从而严重有损于它的商业价值。
已提出在木材防腐剂中使用异噻唑酮化合物,以保护木材不受霉菌的影响;但是,因为用作木材防霉菌剂的异噻唑酮化合物在碱性水溶液中的化学稳定性差,所以通过将这样的化合物混合到传统的木材防腐剂如以前描述的无机铜化合物碱性水溶液中,难以增加防霉菌性质。与这样的传统木材防腐剂相互混合时,异噻唑酮化合物的化学稳定性差已限制了这样的组合产品在商业上取得成功。
本发明涉及一种碱性的木材防腐剂组合物,它含有至少一种选自2-甲基-4-异噻唑啉-3-酮、2-辛基-4-异噻唑啉-3-酮和4,5-二氯-2-辛基-4-异噻唑啉-3-酮的异噻唑酮化合物,至少一种通过用选自氨、铵盐和胺的含氮化合物使水不溶性的铜盐或铜氧化物增溶形成的水溶性铜络合物以及水。

本发明部分基于这一令人吃惊的发现;某些异噻唑酮化合物在碱性的木材防腐剂组合物如含水溶性铜络合物的木材防腐组合物中是稳定的。当用作这些木材防腐剂组合物的一部分时,这些异噻唑酮化合物不会从木材中浸出,而在其中仍是稳定的,并且还给这些木材防腐剂组合物提供了极好的防霉菌性质。
适用于本发明的木材防腐剂组合物的水溶性铜络合物很容易通过用选自氨、铵盐和胺的含氮化合物使水不溶性无机铜盐或铜氧化物增溶来形成。
适用于本发明水溶性铜络合物的水不溶性铜盐的例子包括但不限于碱式碳酸铜、碱式乙酸铜、碱式硝酸铜、碱式磷酸铜、碱式氯化铜和焦磷酸铜。碱式碳酸铜、碱式磷酸铜和焦酸铜是优选的。适用于本发明的水不溶性氧化铜的例子包括但不限于CuO。
适用于使水不溶性铜盐或铜氧化物增溶的含氮化合物包括但不限于氨;铵盐,如碳酸氢铵;和,胺如单乙醇胺、二乙醇胺、三乙醇胺、乙二胺、1,2-丙二胺、1,3-丙二胺,N,N-二甲基乙二胺和N,N-二乙基乙二胺。
通常,本发明的碱性木材防腐剂组合物的pH值应为8-13。从防腐剂的费用和有效性考虑,混合在其中的异噻唑啉酮化合物的浓度范围为10-10000ppm。当木材被饱和时,异噻唑酮的最低有效浓度为10ppm或更大、优选30-200ppm。
本发明的木材防腐剂组合物可涂覆到要处理的木材表面;在适合的加压涂覆设备中,按组合物原样或进一步稀释在水中或有机溶剂和水中后,用浸泡或浸渍的方法加到木材中。
本发明的木材防腐剂例如可用以下方法制备。首先将至少一类选自水不溶性铜盐或铜氧化物的铜化物分散在水中。然后将至少一类选自氨、铵盐或胺的含氮化合物加到铜化合物的分散液中,使无机铜化合物形成络合物,并溶于水中。然后将2-甲基-4-异噻唑啉-3-酮、2-辛基-4-异噻唑啉-3-酮或4,5-二氯-2-辛基-4-异噻唑啉-3-酮混合到生成的铜化合物的碱性水溶液中,制得木材防腐剂组合物。
如果需要的话,可将熟悉本专业的技术人员已知的辅助剂加到本发明的木材防腐剂组合物中。
以下实施例用来进一步说明本发明的各方面,但不打算以任何形式限制本发明的范围。
实施例1
以下是制备本发明的木材防腐剂组合物的方法的说明。表2中的样品3、7、9、10、14和16是本发明木材防腐剂组合物的例子;其余样品是对比样。

实施例2
现场防霉菌试验
A.样品和化学处理
将30片异叶铁杉(1×10×50厘米)放入加盖的70升加压容器中,并按以下步骤进行化学处理。
1)将异叶铁杉试验样品放入加压容器中,并将盖关闭。用真空泵将压力降到0.08兆帕,并保持30分钟。
2)继续运转真空泵的同时,将预制的化学溶液送入容器,使容器装满化学溶液。
3)将压缩空气送入容器,使容器的压力达到0.7兆帕。该压力保持3小时。此后,释放压力,取出容器中的溶液。
4)将容器中的压力降到0.08兆帕。将这一条件保持30分钟,然后取出试验样品。
B.防霉菌试验
现参考附图,图1表示本发明木材防腐剂的现场防霉菌体系的横切面图,而图2表示在现场防霉菌试验体系中试验样品的位置。
如图1所示,本发明使用的现场防霉菌试验体系10由混凝土块1a、1b、1c、1d、水槽2和聚乙烯片3a、3b组成。现场防霉菌试验使用该现场防霉菌体系10,按以下步骤进行。
混凝土块1a分开一定距离。该混凝土块被聚乙烯片3a覆盖。水槽2在聚乙烯片3a上方,并在混凝土块1a和1a之间。
将用木材防腐剂配方处理过的试验样4捆成5排×6片,并放在混凝土块1b上,离最近的捆50厘米。放上混凝土块1c,加聚乙烯片3b使整个试验体系被覆盖,以便加快霉菌的生长。然后将混凝土块1d放在聚乙烯片3b的两端上。
在1.5和3个月后,按表3所示的等级测量每一样品上霉菌的生长。用以下方程式计算防霉菌百分率,其中试验样品的总数为30。

本发明的木材防腐剂组合物对微生物引起的木材腐烂提供了极好的保护,以及保护木材表面不受霉菌污染。
Claims (6)
1.一种碱性木材防腐剂组合物,它含有:
(a)至少一种选自2-甲基-4-异噻唑啉-3-酮、2-辛基-4-异噻唑啉-3-酮和4,5-二氯-2-辛基-4-异噻唑啉-3-酮的异噻唑酮;
(b)至少一种通过用选自氨、铵盐和胺的含氮化合物使水不溶性铜盐或铜氧化物增溶形成的水溶性铜络合物;以及
(c)水。
2.根据权利要求1的组合物,其中水不溶性铜盐选自碱式碳酸铜、碱式乙酸铜、碱式硝酸铜、碱式磷酸铜、碱式氯化铜和焦磷酸铜。
3.根据权利要求2的组合物,其中水不溶性铜盐选自碱式碳酸铜、碱式磷酸铜和焦磷酸铜。
4.根据权利要求1的组合物,其中含氮化合物为含有碳酸氢铵的铵盐。
5.根据权利要求1的组合物,其中含氮化合物为选自单乙醇胺、二乙醇胺、三乙醇胺、乙二胺、1,2-丙二胺、1,3-丙二胺、N,N-二甲基乙二胺和N,N-二乙基乙二胺的胺。
6.根据权利要求1的组合物,其中异噻唑酮化合物在木材防腐剂组合物中的浓度为10-1000ppm。
