In the case where the right screen d2 (second display area) is selected to display the object information, it is not always necessary to display all the object information at the same time, and it is only necessary to scroll the object information in the selected divided screen (display area) according to a user operation, and thereby display all the object information at a necessary timing as needed.
In the case where the left screen d1 (first display area) is selected to display the object information, it is not always necessary to display all the object information at the same time, and it is only necessary to display all the object information at a necessary timing by temporarily enlarging the selected divided screen (display area) according to the user operation.
When the left screen d1 (first display area) is temporarily enlarged according to a user operation, an enlarged screen Gdl, which is a screen (display area) different from the left screen d1 (first display area), is temporarily displayed. In other words, the left screen d1 (first display area) is a divided screen (display area) in which the object information is not scrolled in response to a user operation, and when the amount of information of the object information is very large, all the object information cannot be displayed at the same time even if the left screen d1 (first display area) is temporarily enlarged, but all the object information can be displayed by scrolling in response to a user operation on the enlarged screen Gd 1. When scrolling of the enlarged screen is not necessary (when important information cannot be displayed on the enlarged screen), the enlarged screen Gd1 different from the right screen d2 (second display region) may be enlarged without newly displaying the enlarged screen d2 (second display region) itself.
In the learning mode [ spelling practice ] of the test form, the meaning is displayed on the left screen d1, the "example sentence (question sentence)" and the answer after the answer is received are displayed on the right screen d2, the spelling input area AE for the answer input, [ voice reproduction ] icon Cp, [ explanation ] icon Ce and [ next ] icon Cn are displayed on the lower screen d3, and the other information including the "word name (spelling)" which is the positive solution is not displayed on the left screen d1 (see fig. 2 a).
In the learning mode [ vocabulary meaning ] of the test format, the word name and the "pronunciation symbol" are displayed on the left screen d1, the "example sentence (question sentence)", the selection item, and the answer after the answer is received are displayed on the right screen d2, the answer selection icon C1 to C4, [ voice reproduction ] icon Cp, [ comment ] icon Ce, and [ next ] icon Cn are displayed on the lower screen d3, and the information including the other "meaning" that the user can determine the positive answer is not displayed on the left screen d1 of the confirmation prompt (see (B) of fig. 2).
Similarly, in the learning mode [ match-practice ] [ word class conversion ] [ word selection ] of the other test format, the various related information related to the word and the various related information related to the operation thereof are set to be displayed or not displayed on the left screen d1, the right screen d2, or the lower screen d3, respectively, based on the word-practice display control information Jm.
In the embodiment, information including any one of "word name (spelling)", "pronunciation symbol", "meaning", "basic change", "collocation (phrase)", "word class conversion (word class)", "example sentence", "question sentence)", and "pronunciation symbol", "meaning", "collocation (phrase)", and "word class conversion (word class)", among various related information related to a word, information including any one of "example sentence", "question sentence" is defined as information of a first kind, information including any one of "example sentence" and "question sentence" is defined as information of a second kind, and information including "basic change" is defined as information of a third kind.
In the vocabulary practice display control information Jm, for each of the plurality of types of related information related to the word, information defining which of the left screen d1 and the right screen d2 is displayed on may be defined as a first display condition, information defining whether the display of the left screen d1 or the right screen d2 defined in the first display condition is absent (omitted) (in the embodiment, information defining the display of the left screen d1 as absent by the inter-region movement of the "basic change" of the word learning), and information defining whether the display of the right screen d2 is defined in the other display region instead of the display of the left screen d1 or the right screen d2 defined in the second display condition is absent (in the embodiment, information defining the display of the right screen d2 by the inter-region movement of the basic change of the word learning) may be defined as a third display condition.
Fig. 6 is a diagram showing the contents of the learning information data (22 d) stored in the learning information data storage area 22d according to the learning content "university (high school) entrance examination vocabulary exercise" of the electronic dictionary 10.
The learning information data storage area 22d stores learning information indicating whether learning in each learning mode of the learning 6 mode is not performed or performed (positive solution or non-positive solution) for each word (term) to be learned (not performed (Z): performed positive solution, (a): performed non-positive solution (B)) in the learning content (here, "university (high school) entrance examination vocabulary exercise") stored in the learning content storage area 22 c.
Fig. 7 is a diagram showing a storage state of learning information for each word in the learning information data storage area 22d of the electronic dictionary 10.
The learning information of a word is composed of, for example, 1 word (16 bits), and the word is set to be "1" in each of the bit units of 6 bits from the 0 th bit to the fifth bit, thereby showing that the learning 6 mode ([ word learning ] [ word meaning ] [ word class transform ] [ word choice ]) is implemented completely ([ word learning ]) or the positive solution ([ word learning ] [ word meaning ] [ word class transform ] [ word choice ]). Further, by setting the 5-bit amount from the ninth bit to the thirteenth bit as a flag "1" in the bit unit, it is shown that the implementation in each of the learning patterns ([ spelling exercise ] [ word meaning ] [ collocation exercise ] [ word class transformation ] [ word class selection ]) of the test form is not positive.
That is, when the labels of the [ positive solution ] and the [ non-positive solution ] are both "0", it means that the learning of the word in the corresponding learning mode is not performed, and when the label of the [ positive solution ] or the [ non-positive solution ] is "1", it means that the learning of the word in the corresponding learning mode is performed positive solution or performed non-positive solution. In the learning mode [ word learning ] of the recitation form (not the test form), it is not necessary to distinguish between the positive solution and the non-positive solution, and thus a bit indicating that the non-positive solution has been completed is not set.
The job data storage area 22e temporarily stores (holds) data input in response to a user operation, various data acquired or generated by the control unit 21, and the like as necessary, in accordance with control of operations of the respective circuit units of the control unit 21 in accordance with the dictionary control program 22 a.
The electronic dictionary 10 thus configured is configured such that the control unit 21 controls the operations of the respective circuit units in accordance with the commands described in the dictionary control program 22a, and the software and hardware operate cooperatively, thereby realizing various functions including a word learning function, a display control function, a learning information updating function, and a learning information deleting function as described in the following operation description.
(Action of embodiment)
Next, the operation of the electronic dictionary 10 according to the embodiment will be described.
< Word learning function >
Fig. 8 is a flowchart showing a word learning process based on the learning content (22 c) of the electronic dictionary 10.
Here, it is assumed that the control section 21 of the electronic dictionary 10 performs word learning processing in accordance with the learning content "university (high school) entrance examination vocabulary exercise" which is detected to be specified according to the user operation.
When the specification of the learning content "university (high school) entrance examination vocabulary exercise" belonging to the category of vocabulary learning is detected by the user operation from among the plurality of types of learning content displayed in the list in the touch panel display unit 17 in accordance with the operation of the function specification key 14b [ content list ] of the key input unit 14, the control unit 21 causes the touch panel display unit 17 to display a top screen Gt for selecting (switching) the learning mode in which the specified learning content "university (high school) entrance examination vocabulary exercise" is detected by the learning mode selection tab [ word learning ] T1 to [ vocabulary selection ] T6, as shown in fig. 1 (step S1).
When the learning mode selection tab [ word learning ] T1 to [ word selection ] T6 is used to select (switch) any one of the learning 6 modes, and the target word selection menu [ learning from all words ] W1 to [ learned words ] W3 is used to select the group of the learning target words, and the [ decision ] key 14d is operated (yes) in step S2), the control unit 21 causes the touch panel display unit 17 to display a learning screen divided into a left screen d1 (first display area), a right screen d2 (second display area), and a lower screen d3 (third display area) based on the selected learning mode, for example, as shown in fig. 1 (B) or fig. 2 (a) and (B) (step S3).
In the selected learning mode, the control unit 21 extracts the learning target word (all words/non-learned word/learned word) selected from the target word selection menu [ learning all words ] W1 to [ learned word ] W3 based on the learning information (not implemented/implemented (positive or non-positive solution): referring to fig. 6 and 7) of each learning mode of all words (entries) stored in the learning information data storage area 22d, and selects the current learning target word from the extracted learning target word to specify (step S4).
Here, in the case of the learning mode [ word learning ] (T1) of the recitation form, a word is selected and designated by an arbitrary operation of the user from the list of the selected learning object words (all words/non-learned words/learned words), and in the case of the learning mode [ spelling practice ] (T2) to [ word selection ] (T6) of the test form, a word is designated which is randomly selected from the list of the selected learning object words (all words/non-learned words/learned words).
The control unit 21 determines whether or not to display corresponding to the selected learning mode, based on the vocabulary exercise display control information Jm of the learning content "university (high school) entrance examination vocabulary exercise" shown in fig. 5, with respect to various associated information ("word name (spelling)", "pronunciation symbol", "meaning", "basic change", "collocation (phrase)", "word class conversion (word class)", "example sentence"), and various associated information ("option", "answer selection", "answer input", "speech reproduction", "comment", "next") related to the operation thereof, respectively, regarding the specified word detected as the learning target (step S5).
The control unit 21 determines, based on the vocabulary practice display control information Jm, which of the divided screens (display areas) of the learning screen (left screen d1 (first display area), right screen d2 (second display area), and lower screen d3 (third display area)) divided by 3 is to be displayed for the plurality of kinds of associated information determined to have the display in the selected learning mode (step S6).
The control unit 21 determines whether or not there is information satisfying the movement condition of the inter-region movement (see fig. 3) among the plurality of pieces of related information displayed on the divided screens (display regions) of the 3-divided learning screens (d 1, d2, d 3) based on the vocabulary exercise display control information Jm (step S7).
In the vocabulary practice display control information Jm (fig. 5) according to the embodiment, when the learning mode [ word learning ] is selected, the "basic change" of the word in the plurality of kinds of related information related to the word is determined as information satisfying the movement condition for moving and displaying from the left screen d1 to the right screen d 2.
When there is information satisfying the movement condition (yes in step S8), the control unit 21 changes the display area of the information satisfying the movement condition (step S9).
That is, in the word learning screen G1 (see fig. 1 (B)) in the case where the learning mode [ word learning ] is selected, the "basic change" of the word is displayed at the lower position of the right screen d2 on the boundary of the separation line Lb (displayed by moving from the left screen d1 to the right screen d2 between the regions), whereby the list of information related to the explanation of the word is ensured (the separation line Lb may be displayed only when the region moves, or may be displayed at the upper side of the information displayed by the movement, or may be displayed at the position where the type of information is switched regardless of the presence or absence of the region movement).
The control unit 21 causes the touch panel display unit 17 to display a learning screen corresponding to the selected learning mode in accordance with the divided screens (left screen d1, right screen d2, and lower screen d 3) determined in steps S6 to S9 and performs learning processing in which a specified word (term) is detected as a learning target (step AB).
That is, when the learning mode [ word learning ] of the recitation form is selected, for example, as shown in fig. 1 (B), the control unit 21 causes the touch panel display unit 17 to display the word learning screen G1, and in the word learning screen G1, "word name (spelling)", "pronunciation symbol", "meaning", "collocation (phrase)", and "word class conversion (word class)", and in the right screen d2, "example sentence" are displayed, and in accordance with the movement from the left screen d1 (first display area) to the right screen d2 (second display area), the "basic change" is displayed in the right screen d2, and in the lower screen d3, [ voice reproduction ] icon Cp, [ comment ] icon Ce, and [ next ] icon Cn are displayed, so that the user can learn the recitation form in which a specified word is detected.
When the learning mode [ spelling practice ] of the test form is selected, for example, as shown in fig. 2 (a), the control unit 21 causes the touch panel display unit 17 to display a spelling practice test screen G2, causes the left screen d1 to display a meaning, causes the right screen d2 to display an "example sentence (question sentence)" and an answer after the answer is received, causes the lower screen d3 to display a spelling input area AE, [ voice reproduction ] icon Cp, [ comment ] icon Ce and [ next ] icon Cn for the answer input, and causes the user to learn the test form in which the specified word is detected.
When the learning mode [ word meaning ] of the test format is selected, for example, as shown in fig. 2 (B), the control unit 21 causes the touch panel display unit 17 to display a word meaning test screen G3, and in the word meaning test screen G3, "word name (spelling)" and "pronunciation symbol" are displayed on the left screen d1, and "example sentence (question sentence)", "selection item", and "answer after answer" are displayed on the right screen d2, and the answer selection icons C1 to C4, [ voice reproduction ] icon Cp, [ explanation ] icon Ce, and [ next ] icon Cn are displayed on the lower screen d3, so that the user performs the learning of the test format in which the specified word is detected.
When the designation of the next word (term) to be learned is detected while the display screen (learning screen) Gn in the selected learning mode is displayed (step S10 (no)), the control unit 21 repeatedly executes the processing of step S4 and the following steps with each designation of the next word.
< Display control function >
Fig. 9 is a flowchart showing a display control process according to a screen operation mode (fig. 3) set in advance for a display screen (learning screen) in a learning mode selected based on learning content (22 c) of the electronic dictionary 10. When the cursor key 14f (up [ ≡ ] or down [ ≡ ]) is pressed (step A1 (up-down key)) in a state where the display screen (learning screen: word learning screen G1 shown in fig. 1 (B), spelling practice test screen G2 shown in fig. 2 (a), vocabulary meaning test screen G3 shown in fig. 2 (B), etc.) in the selected learning mode is displayed, the control unit 21 scrolls the display of the right screen d2 (second display area) up or down according to the pressed state of the cursor key 14f (step A2).
On the other hand, when the cursor key 14f is pressed (left [ ≡ ] or right [ → ]) (step A1 (left-right key)), the control unit 21 does not scroll both the left screen d1 (first display area) and the right screen d2 (second display area) to the left or right (step A3). Further, when the right screen d2 (second display area) is touched (step A4 (second display area)), the control unit 21 scrolls the display of the right screen d2 (second display area) upward or downward according to the state of the touch (step A2).
The user can scroll up and down information related to the word displayed on the right screen d2 in accordance with the selected learning mode appropriately in response to the operation of the cursor key 14f (up [ ≡ ] or down [ ≡ ]) or the touch on the right screen d 2. When the left screen d1 (first display area) is touched (step A4 (first display area)), the control unit 21 causes the display of the left screen d1 (first display area) to be displayed as an enlarged screen Gd1 (second display screen) enlarged on the full screen of the touch panel display unit 17, for example, as shown in fig. 10 (a) → (B), without scrolling the display of the left screen d1 (first display area) (step A5).
Fig. 10 is a diagram showing a display operation in the case where a learning mode [ collocation practice ] of a test format is selected in the learning content "university (high school) entrance examination vocabulary practice" of the electronic dictionary 10.
Fig. 10 (a) shows a collocation exercise test screen G4 in the selected learning mode [ collocation exercise ].
On the matching exercise test screen G4, the control unit 21 displays "word names" and "matching (word groups)" on the left screen d1, displays "example sentences (question sentences)", "choices" and "answers after answer" on the right screen d2, and displays answer selection icons C1 to C4, [ explanation ] icons Ce and [ next ] icons Cn on the lower screen d3 based on the vocabulary exercise display control information Jm (fig. 5), so that the user learns the test form of the specified word (steps S1 to S9, AB).
For example, in the matching training test screen G4, when the number of matches (phrases) displayed on the left screen d1 (first display area) is large and incomplete matches (phrases) are displayed, the user touches the left screen d1 (first display area) to display the left screen d1 (first display area) as an enlarged screen Gd1 enlarged on the full screen as shown in fig. 10 (B), and can confirm a list of matches (phrases).
Here, in the enlarged screen Gd1 (for example, (B) of fig. 10) in which the display of the left screen d1 (first display region) is enlarged to the full screen, when the enlarged screen Gd1 (second display screen) is touched (yes in step A6), the control unit 21 scrolls the display of the enlarged screen Gd1 (i.e. the display of the first display region) upward or downward in accordance with the touched state (step A7).
In the display screen (learning screen) Gn corresponding to the selected learning mode, the user can confirm not only a large amount of information related to the word which is not displayed on the left screen d1 as the enlarged screen Gd1 enlarged to the full screen, but also scroll up and down the display of the enlarged screen Gd1 in accordance with the operation of touching the enlarged screen Gd1, thereby confirming all the information displayed therein.
< Learning information update function >
Fig. 11 is a flowchart showing learning information update processing based on the learning content (22 c) of the electronic dictionary 10. Here, it is assumed that the control section 21 of the electronic dictionary 10 performs learning information update processing in accordance with the learning content "university (high school) entrance examination vocabulary exercise" specified in accordance with the user operation.
As shown in fig. 1a, when the learning mode [ word learning ] of the recitation form is selected by the learning mode selection tab [ word learning ] T1 of the front page screen Gt of the learning content "university (high school) entrance examination vocabulary exercise" (step B1 (1: word learning)), the control unit 21 causes the touch panel display unit 17 to display the word learning screen G1 with a word designated by the user operation among the words (all words/non-learned words/learned words) of the learning target selected from the target word selection menu [ from all word learning ] W1 to [ learned words ] W3 (step B2) as shown in fig. 1B.
In the case of the learning mode [ word learning ] of the recitation form, the learning of the corresponding word is regarded as being performed at the time point when the word learning screen G1 is displayed, and the control unit 21 causes the [ forward solution ] symbol Ht indicating the completion of the learning of the corresponding word to be displayed at the left end of the lower screen d3 of the word learning screen G1 (step B3).
As shown in fig. 7, the control unit 21 sets a flag "1" of [ positive solution ] (implementation) to the bit (here, the 0 th bit) of OK corresponding to the learning mode [ word learning ] of the corresponding word of the learning information data storage area 22d (step B4).
When any one of the learning modes [ spelling practice ] to [ vocabulary selection ] of the test form is selected by the learning mode selection tab [ spelling practice ] T2 to [ vocabulary selection ] T6 of the top page screen Gt (step B1 (2: spelling practice: 6: vocabulary selection)), the control unit 21 causes the touch panel display unit 17 to display the spelling practice test screen G2 of the selected learning mode [ spelling practice ] as shown in fig. 2 a, for example, with respect to randomly designated words (all words/non-learned words/learned words (positive/non-positive solution)) from among the words to be learned selected by the target word selection menu Wn (step B5).
In the spelling practice test screen G2, when the spelling of the word is input as a solution in the spelling input area AE of the lower screen d3 (step B6 (yes)), the control part 21 determines whether the input solution is a positive solution or a non-positive solution (step B7).
When it is determined that the inputted solution is a positive solution (yes in step B7), the control unit 21 displays a positive solution flag Mt in the center of the spelling practice test screen G2, and displays a [ positive solution ] symbol Ht indicating that learning of the corresponding word has been completed in the left end of the lower screen d3 (step B8 t).
As shown in fig. 7, the control unit 21 sets a flag "1" of "positive solution" to the OK bit (here, 1 st bit) corresponding to the learning mode (here, [ spelling practice ]) of the corresponding word of the learning information data storage area 22d (step B9 t). On the other hand, if it is determined that the inputted solution is not positive (no in step B7), the control unit 21 displays a non-positive solution flag Mf in the center of the spelling practice test screen G2, and displays a [ non-positive solution ] symbol Hf indicating that learning of the corresponding word has been completed in the left end of the lower screen d3 (step B8 f).
As shown in fig. 7, the control unit 21 sets a flag "1" of "non-positive solution" to a bit (here, the 9 th bit) of NG corresponding to the learning pattern (here, [ spelling practice ]) of the corresponding word of the learning information data storage area 22d (step B9 f).
When the learning mode [ vocabulary meaning ] of the test format is selected (step B1 (3: vocabulary meaning)), the control unit 21 causes the touch panel display unit 17 to display the vocabulary meaning test screen G3 of the selected learning mode [ vocabulary meaning ] as shown in fig. 2 (step B5), for example, with respect to randomly designated words among the words (all words/non-learned words/learned words (positive solution/non-positive solution)) of the learning target selected through the target word selection menu Wn, as described above.
In the vocabulary meaning test screen G3, when the answer selection icons C1 to C4 of the lower screen d3 are selected and touched (yes in step B6), the control unit 21 determines whether the inputted answer is a positive solution or a non-positive solution (step B7). When it is determined that the inputted solution is a positive solution (yes in step B7), the control unit 21 displays a positive solution flag Mt in the center of the vocabulary meaning test screen G3, and displays a "positive solution" symbol Ht indicating that learning of the corresponding word has been completed in the left end of the lower screen d3 (step B8 t).
As shown in fig. 7, the control unit 21 sets a flag "1" of "positive solution" to the OK bit (here, the 2 nd bit) corresponding to the learning mode (here, the "lexical meaning") of the corresponding word of the learning information data storage area 22d (step B9 t).
On the other hand, if it is determined that the inputted solution is not positive (no in step B7), the control unit 21 displays a non-positive solution flag Mf in the center of the vocabulary meaning test screen G3, and causes a [ non-positive solution ] symbol Hf indicating the implemented non-positive solution of the learning of the corresponding word to be displayed on the left end of the lower screen d3 (step B8 f).
As shown in fig. 7, the control unit 21 sets a flag "1" of "non-positive solution" to a bit (here, 10 th bit) of NG corresponding to the learning pattern (here, meaning of word) of the corresponding word of the learning information data storage area 22d (step B9 f).
When any one of the other learning modes [ collocation practice ] (T4) to [ vocabulary selection ] (T6) of the test format is selected, the control unit 21 displays the learning screen Gn corresponding to each corresponding learning mode (step B5) similarly to the vocabulary meaning test screen G3 in the learning mode [ vocabulary meaning ] shown in fig. 2 (B), and executes the learning information update processing similar to the above (steps B6 to B9T or steps B6 to B9 f).
In this way, the electronic dictionary 10 stores and manages learning information indicating whether learning in each learning mode of the learning 6 mode is not performed or performed (positive solution or non-positive solution) for each of all words (terms) that are subjects of learning in the learning content (here, "university (high-school) entrance examination vocabulary exercise").
Thus, as shown in fig. 1 a, when the learning mode [ word learning ] of the recitation form is selected (T1), the electronic dictionary 10 can easily narrow the learning target word to any one of all words (4259 words in this case), the non-learned word, and the learned word in accordance with the selection of the target word selection menu [ learn from all words ] W1, [ un-learned word ] W2, and [ learned word ] W3.
As shown in fig. 6, when the learning mode [ spelling practice ] (T2) to [ vocabulary selection ] (T6) of the test form is selected, the electronic dictionary 10 can easily narrow the learning target word to all words (4259 words here), the word not subjected to learning, the word subjected to learning and the word not subjected to learning can be any one of each of the words according to the target word selection menu [ learning from all words ] W1, [ non-learning word ] W2, [ learning-completed word ] W3T, [ learning-completed word subjected to positive solution ] W3 f.
< Function of deleting learning information >
Fig. 12 is a diagram showing a display operation according to learning information deletion processing based on learning content (22 c) of the electronic dictionary 10. Here, it is assumed that the control section 21 of the electronic dictionary 10 performs learning information deletion processing based on the learning content "university (high school) entrance examination vocabulary exercise" specified according to the user operation.
In the first page screen Gt of the learning content "university (high school) entrance examination vocabulary exercise" (see fig. 1 a), when an arbitrary learning mode (here, word learning T1) is selected, the control UNIT 21 causes the touch panel display UNIT 17 to display a learning word UNIT list screen GLu in which the words to be learned are listed separately for each UNIT (UNIT) of a textbook, for example, as shown in fig. 12 a.
In the learning word unit list screen GLu, when the cursor key 14f [ Σ ] is operated, as shown in fig. 12B, the control unit 21 causes the touch panel display unit 17 to display a learning word list screen GLw in which the words included in the unit (here, welcom UNIT) selected in the learning word unit list screen GLu are listed.
When the [ recycle bin ] icon Cd is touched or the [ delete ] key 14g is pressed on the learning word unit list screen GLu, the control unit 21 displays a learning information deletion screen (unit) GDu provided with learning information deletion menus (unit) iu1 to iu3, as shown in fig. 12C.
In the learning information deletion screen (unit cell) GDu, when "progressive information (1 item)" iul in all deletion selection of the learning information deletion menu (unit cell) is selected and the [ decision ] key 14d is pressed, the control unit 21 resets and deletes the learning information (the "1" flag of the [ positive solution ] or the "non-positive solution" shown in fig. 7) stored in the learning information data storage area 22d for all words included in one unit (one item) selected in the learning word unit cell list screen GLu shown in fig. 12 (a).
When "delete all progress information in display" iu2 of the learning information deletion menu (unit cell) is selected and [ decision ] key 14d is pressed, control unit 21 resets and deletes the learning information stored in learning information data storage area 22d with respect to all words included in all cells displayed in the learning word cell list screen GLu shown in fig. 12 (a).
When the "delete all progress information" iu3 of the learning information deletion menu (unit cell) is selected and the [ decision ] key 14d is pressed, the control unit 21 resets and deletes the learning information stored in the learning information data storage area 22d with respect to all words of the learning object included in the learning content "university (high school) study vocabulary exercise".
In the learning word list screen GLw shown in fig. 12 (B), when the [ recycle bin ] icon Cd is touched or the [ delete ] key 14g is pressed, the control unit 21 displays a learning information deletion screen (word unit) GDw provided with learning information deletion menus (word units) iw1 to iw3 as shown in fig. 12 (D).
In the learning information deletion screen (word unit) GDw, when "progress information (1 piece)" iw1 in deletion selection of the learning information deletion menu (word unit) is selected and the [ decision ] key 14d is pressed, the control unit 21 resets and deletes the learning information stored in the learning information data storage area 22d with respect to one word (term) selected in the learning word list screen GLw shown in fig. 12 (B).
When "delete all progress information in display" iw2 of the learning information deletion menu (word unit) is selected and the [ decision ] key 14d is pressed, the control unit 21 resets and deletes the learning information stored in the learning information data storage area 22d with respect to all words displayed in the learning word list screen GLw shown in fig. 12 (B).
When the "delete all progress information" iw3 of the learning information deletion menu (word unit) is selected and the [ decision ] key 14d is pressed, the control unit 21 resets and deletes the learning information stored in the learning information data storage area 22d with respect to all words of the learning object included in the learning content "university (high school) study vocabulary exercise".
In this way, the electronic dictionary 10 can easily delete learning information indicating the implemented positive solution or the implemented non-positive solution of learning stored in the learning information data storage area 22d for each word (term) to be learned, for any unit or for each word.
Thus, for example, the user can easily learn repeatedly the words included in any unit, the respective words, and return the learning to an unexecuted state, or a new user can start learning the words using the same electronic dictionary 10.
(Summary of embodiments)
According to the electronic dictionary 10 (learning device) of the embodiment, when either one of the learning mode [ word learning ] of the recitation form (T1) or the learning mode [ spelling practice ] of the test form (T2) to [ word selection ] (T6) is selected, the control unit 21 divides the display screen display 3 of the touch panel display unit 17 into learning screens (first display screens) G1 to G6 of words of the left screen d1 (first display area), the right screen (second display area) d2, and the lower screen d3 (third display area) according to the selected learning mode. The learning screen Gn is set in such a manner that the left screen d1 and the lower screen d3 cannot be scrolled, the right screen d2 can be scrolled, the left screen d1 can be enlarged instead of the enlarged screen Gd1 of the learning screen Gn, the right screen d2 and the lower screen d3 cannot be enlarged, and movement of the display contents (inter-region movement) from the left screen d1 to the right screen d2 can be performed.
In the word learning screen G1 in the learning mode [ word learning ] of the recitation format, among a plurality of kinds of information related to the word designated as the learning target, a word name, a pronunciation symbol, a meaning, a basic change, a collocation, a word class conversion are displayed in the left screen d1, and example sentences are displayed in the right screen d 2. When the display of a plurality of types of information on the left screen d1 which cannot be scrolled is not completely retracted, the basic change of the word is displayed on the lower position of the right screen d2 which can be scrolled with the separation line Lb as a boundary by the inter-area movement, and the display on the left screen d1 is not (omitted).
Thus, in the word learning screen G1 of the recitation format, a list of a plurality of types of information related to the word can be ensured, and the word can be effectively learned.
The first type of information among the plurality of types of information related to the word is preferably information that always displays the entire information so that the user can refer to quickly, and is information that has relatively small information amount and small fluctuation of information amount for each word compared with (compared with) other types of information, the first type of information is always displayed by selecting the left screen d1 that does not scroll, the second type of information is information that the user cannot refer to quickly but can preferably display the entire information as needed, the second type of information is always displayed by selecting the right screen d2 that can scroll, and the third type of information is information that always displays the entire information so that the user can refer to quickly but has relatively large fluctuation of information amount for each word compared with (compared with) other types of information, and the third type of information is displayed on the left screen d1 with first priority, but is displayed on the right screen d2 by switching (moving) when the entire information cannot be displayed on the left screen d 1.
Accordingly, since the plurality of kinds of information to be displayed are appropriately classified and display control is performed in accordance with the respective characteristics, trouble such as screen selection operation and scroll operation by the user can be reduced, and in this case, the visibility of the information by the user can be improved.
In addition, in the collocation practice test screen G4 in the learning mode [ collocation practice ] of the test form, among a plurality of kinds of information related to words designated as learning objects, word names and collocations are displayed in the left screen d1, and choices of answers are displayed in the right screen d2 together with example sentences (question sentences).
When the left screen d1 is touched, the control unit 21 displays the display content of the left screen d1 as an enlarged screen Gd1 (second display screen) in place of the learning screen Gn (first display screen), and can confirm more matches, and when the enlarged screen Gd1 is touched further, the enlarged screen Gd1 is scrolled and displayed, and can confirm all matches.
For this reason, according to the electronic dictionary 10 (information processing apparatus) of the embodiment, a plurality of kinds of information can be displayed more effectively using a plurality of display areas.
