Abstract
The present invention provides a continuous process for compounding one or more polymers and finished articles thereof. The process comprises continuously feeding at least one granular elastomer optionally with one or more thermoplastic polymers having average particle sizes of about 5mm or smaller and with optionally one or more additives to a continuous mixer where the components are masticated and melted into a compound and pumping said compound through an orifice or die.

Claims (9)
