The embodiment of the present application provides a connector 100 of furniture, a connecting assembly of furniture and furniture to improve the technical problem of low versatility of the connector 100 of furniture. The furniture may include furniture used in places such as living rooms, corridors, bedrooms, dining rooms, bathrooms and study rooms. For example, furniture for living rooms may include sofas, sofa chairs, coffee tables, three-person sofas or single, corner tables, TV cabinets, wine cabinets and decorative cabinets, etc., furniture for corridors may include shoe cabinets, coat cabinets and porch cabinets, etc., and furniture for bedrooms may include beds, bedside tables, couches, pillows, wardrobes, dressing tables, dressing mirrors, clothes hangers, etc., which are not limited in the embodiment of the present application. The following will be described in detail respectively.

First, the embodiment of the present application provides a connector 100 of furniture. The connector 100 includes a first side panel 11, a first bottom panel 12, and a second side panel 13 connected in sequence. The second side panel 13 is arranged opposite to the first side panel 11. Thus, the first side panel 11, the first bottom panel 12, and the second side panel 13 can be enclosed to form a receiving space for accommodating the part to be connected of the furniture; or, the first side panel 11, the first bottom panel 12, and the second side panel 13 can be understood as forming a hook-shaped structure, so that the connector 100 can be hooked to the part to be connected of the furniture. The second side panel 13 is provided with at least two first snap-fit structures 131, and the at least two first snap-fit structures 131 are arranged in a direction away from the first bottom panel 12. Furthermore, according to different installation requirements, the connector 100 can be snap-fitted and installed through different first snap-fit structures 131 to improve the versatility of the connector 100.

For example, when the connecting piece 100 is installed with the first bottom plate 12 facing downward and the second side plate 13 extending upward, after the part of the furniture to be connected is fixed between the first side plate 11 and the second side plate 13, according to the different installation heights required for the part of the furniture to be connected, the connecting piece 100 can be connected through different first snap-fit structures 131 in the vertical direction, thereby eliminating the need to replace connecting pieces 100 of different models, thereby ultimately improving the versatility of the connecting piece 100.

The above is an overall description of the technical solution of the embodiment of the present application. The following will continue to illustrate the technical solution of the embodiment of the present application with reference to the first engaging structure 131 .

In some embodiments, at least one side of the second side panel 13 along the width direction is provided with a first engaging structure 131. Then, when the first engaging structures 131 are provided on both sides of the second side panel 13 along the width direction, the connector 100 can also be connected through the first engaging structures 131 on different sides of the second side panel 13 in the width direction according to different installation requirements of the furniture, so as to further improve the versatility of the connector 100.

In some embodiments, the first engaging structure 131 may include a locking tooth, so that the connecting member 100 can move along the width direction of the second side plate 13 to make the locking tooth move to the engaging state.

Please continue to refer to Figure 2, which is a usage scenario diagram of the connector shown in Figure 1. The second side plate 13 may also be provided with at least two first slots 132, so that the first engaging structure 131 of the first connector 100a can be engaged with different first slots 132 of the second connector 100b.

Then, taking the first engaging structure 131 as a latching tooth, the first latching groove 132 can be a corresponding tooth groove. At this time, the first connecting member 100a can move along the width direction of the second side plate 13, so that the latching tooth of the first connecting member 100a is engaged with the first latching groove 132 of the second connecting member 100b, or the latching tooth of the first connecting member 100a is withdrawn from the first latching groove 132 of the second connecting member 100b.

It can also be understood that in the manufacturing process of furniture, it is only necessary to manufacture multiple connectors 100 of the same type, and the furniture can be assembled by mutually engaging multiple connectors 100. In contrast, if at least two different connectors need to be produced to assemble furniture, it means that at least two different connectors corresponding to the production molds, production lines, production stations and operators are required. Therefore, it can be seen that the connector 100 of the embodiment of the present application can effectively reduce the production cost of furniture.

Next, the technical solution of the embodiment of the present application is explained and illustrated in conjunction with one process of the two connecting members 100 engaging with each other. The furniture includes a first part and a second part, and the two connecting members 100 include a first connecting member 100a and a second connecting member 100b.

First, the first component of the furniture and the first connecting member 100a are assembled, and the first connecting member 100a is placed with the first bottom plate 12 facing upward and the second side plate 13 facing backward.

Then, the second component of the furniture and the second connecting piece 100b are assembled, and the second connecting piece 100b is placed with the first bottom plate 12 facing downward and the second side plate 13 facing backward, and the second connecting piece 100b and the first connecting piece 100a are spaced apart in the left-right direction, so that the first locking structure 131 of the first connecting piece 100a is opposite to the first locking groove 132 of the second connecting piece 100b.

Next, the first connector 100a is pushed in the left-right direction so that the first engaging structure 131 of the first connector 100a is inserted into the first engaging groove 132 of the second connector 100b, thereby achieving the engaging and fixing of the first connector 100a and the second connector 100b, and finally achieving the assembly of the first component and the second component of the furniture.

In addition, according to different actual installation requirements, before pushing the first connecting member 100a in the left and right directions, the first connecting member 100a can be moved upward or downward so that the first engaging structure 131 of the first connecting member 100a is engaged with different first engaging grooves 132 in the height direction of the second connecting member 100b, thereby adjusting the vertical spacing between the two connecting members 100 to meet different installation requirements of the furniture.

Next, the technical solution of the embodiment of the present application will be described with examples in combination with the formation method of the first card slot 132 .

In some embodiments, a first slot 132 is formed between two adjacent first engaging structures 131. Therefore, compared with manufacturing additional first slots 132 at other positions of the connector 100, on the one hand, the embodiment of the present application can prevent the connector 100 from having too many holes and slots, which may lead to insufficient overall strength of the connector 100. On the other hand, the embodiment of the present application can also form the first slot 132 while manufacturing the first engaging structure 131, thereby making the preparation of the first slot 132 simpler and more convenient.

In some embodiments, the second side plate 13 includes a main body 133 and a first extension 134 connected to each other. The first extension 134 protrudes from one end of the main body 133 away from the first bottom plate 12. A first engaging structure 131 is protruded from at least one side of the first extension 134 along the width direction. A first engaging groove 132 is formed between the main body 133 and the adjacent first engaging structure 131.

For example, a gap is formed between the side of the main body 133 facing away from the first bottom plate 12 and the first extending portion 134 , and the first engaging structure 131 may be located in the gap.

Then, taking the second side panel 13 as a sheet metal part as an example, the main body 133, the first extension part 134 and the first snap-fit structure 131 can be cut out at one time through a punching process, so that a first snap-fit groove 132 is formed between adjacent first snap-fit structures 131, and a first snap-fit groove 132 is also formed between the main body 133 and the adjacent first snap-fit structures 131, which ultimately makes the manufacture of the connecting piece 100 simpler and more suitable for industrial production.

Please continue to refer to FIG3 , which is a diagram of a use scenario of the second connector provided in an embodiment of the present application. For example, in some embodiments, an edge of one side of the first engaging structure 131 close to the first bottom plate 12 is parallel to the first bottom plate 12 .

Then, let's take the first connecting member 100a as an example, in which the first bottom plate 12 is placed upward and the second side plate 13 is placed backward, and the second connecting member 100b is placed in a posture in which the first bottom plate 12 is placed downward and the second side plate 13 is placed backward:

After the first connector 100a and the second connector 100b are engaged, the upper edge of the first engaging structure 131 of the first connector 100a and the lower edge of the second engaging structure 431 of the second connector 100b abut against each other to limit the first connector 100a and the second connector 100b from being pulled apart in the vertical direction. At this time, since the upper edge of the first engaging structure 131 of the first connector 100a is horizontally extended and the lower edge of the first engaging structure 131 of the second connector 100b is also horizontally extended, the first connector 100a and the second connector 100b have stronger tensile strength in the vertical direction, thereby improving the stability and reliability of the connection between the first connector 100a and the second connector 100b.

The above are some examples of the first engaging structure 131 in the embodiment of the present application. The following will continue to illustrate other engaging structures of the connector 100 with examples.

Please refer to Figure 2 and Figure 4, Figure 4 is a schematic diagram of the structure of the connector shown in Figure 1 from another perspective. In some embodiments, the connector 100 further includes a second extension portion 14. A second slot 15 is formed between the second extension portion 14 and the first bottom plate 12, so that the second side plate 13 of the first connector 100a can be snapped into the second slot 15 of the second connector 100b.

Thus, the first connecting member 100a and the second connecting member 100b can be fixed at a first location by the cooperation of the first locking structure 131 and the first locking groove 132, and can be fixed at a second location by the second side panel 13 and the second connecting member 400, so as to improve the stability and reliability of the connection between the first connecting member 100a and the second connecting member 100b through the double locking structure.

It can also be understood that, taking the first connecting member 100a being placed with the first bottom plate 12 facing upward and the second side plate 13 facing backward as an example, the second connecting member 100b being placed with the first bottom plate 12 facing downward and the second side plate 13 facing backward as an example:

In some embodiments, the first bottom plate 12 includes a connecting section 121 and a clamping section 122 connected to one side edge of the second side plate 13. The connecting section 121 is connected to the second side plate 13, or the second side plate 13 is connected to the connecting section 121 of the first bottom plate 12. The clamping section 122 is spaced apart from the second extension 14 to form a second clamping groove 15, so that the second side plate 13 of another connector 100 moves along the clamping section 122 toward the connecting section 121 to be clamped into the second clamping groove 15.

Thus, in the actual assembly process, by pushing the first connector 100a toward the direction close to the second connector 100b, the first engaging structure 131 of the first connector 100a can be inserted into the first engaging groove 132 of the second connector 100b, and at the same time, the second side plate 13 of the first connector 100a is inserted into the second engaging groove 15 of the second connector 100b, thereby realizing the engaging of the first connector 100a and the second connector 100b. Similarly, by pushing the first connector 100a toward the direction away from the second connector 100b, the first engaging structure 131 of the first connector 100a can be withdrawn from the first engaging groove 132 of the second connector 100b, and at the same time, the second side plate 13 of the first connector 100a is withdrawn from the second engaging groove 15 of the second connector 100b, thereby realizing the unlocking of the first connector 100a and the second connector 100b.

In some embodiments, along the direction from the connecting section 121 toward the clamping section 122 , the side of the second side plate 13 facing away from the clamping section 122 is bent and connected to the second extending portion 14 .

Therefore, it can also be understood that the second extension portion 14 is bent to the side of the second side plate 13 that is away from the first base plate 12 in the thickness direction, thereby ensuring that the gap between the second extension portion 14 and the snap-in section 122 can be inserted into another connected second side plate 13, thereby improving the reliability and ease of use of the connector 100.

In some embodiments, the second extension portion 14 may be partially connected to the main body 133 by bending, and partially connected to the first extension portion 134 by bending. Then, compared with the second extension portion 14 being only connected to the main body 133 by bending, the connection area between the second extension portion 14 and the second side plate 13 is larger, and the area of the second extension portion 14 can also be made larger, so that the second extension portion 14 can better clamp the second side plate 13 of another connector 100.

Of course, the second extension portion 14 may also be connected to only one of the main body portion 133 and the first extension portion 134 by a bend, and this embodiment of the present application does not limit this.

In some embodiments, the second extension portion 14 and the second side plate 13 may be connected by at least one of upsetting, riveting and bonding, so that the second extension portion 14 and the clamping section 122 may clamp the second side plate 13 of another connecting member 100 more firmly.

Please continue to refer to Figure 5, which is a schematic diagram of the structure of the third connector provided by the embodiment of the present application. Optionally, along the direction from the connecting section 121 to the clamping section 122, the side of the second side plate 13 close to the clamping section 122 can also be bent and connected to the second extension portion 14. Therefore, compared with the side of the second side plate 13 away from the clamping section 122 being bent and connected to the second extension portion 14, the length of the second extension portion 14 is shorter, thereby reducing the consumables and cost of the connector 100.

In some embodiments, along the thickness direction of the second side plate 13, the free end of the second extension portion 14 is bent in a direction away from the first bottom plate 12. Thus, a flared structure is formed between the free end of the second extension portion 14 away from the first bottom plate 12, so that the second side plate 13 of the second connector 100b can be inserted into the second slot 15 of the first connector 100a.

In some embodiments, the second extension portion 14 is provided with a protrusion 141 on one side of the second side plate in the thickness direction close to the first bottom plate 12. Thus, when the second side plate 13 of the second connector 100b is inserted into the second clamping groove 15 of the first connector 100a, the second side plate of the second connector 100b can be pressed by the protrusion 141 of the first connector 100a, so as to improve the stability and reliability of the connection between the second connector 100b and the first connector 100a.

In some embodiments, the connector 100 is a sheet metal part, so that the connector 100 has the advantages of being light, thin, easy to shape and low cost.

Please continue to refer to Figure 6, which is a schematic diagram of the structure of the furniture provided in the embodiment of the present application. The embodiment of the present application also provides a piece of furniture, which may include a first cabinet 200, a second cabinet 300 and two connectors 100 as described above.

The first cabinet 200 is provided with a first fixing groove 211 , and the second cabinet 300 is provided with a second fixing groove 311 . The notch direction of the second fixing groove 311 is opposite to the notch direction of the first fixing groove 211 .

The two connectors 100 include a first connector 100a and a second connector 100b. The first side plate 11 of the first connector 100a is slidably mounted in the first fixing groove 211. The first side plate 11 of the second connector 100b is slidably mounted in the second fixing groove 311, so that the second connector 100b can slide along the second fixing groove 311 to be engaged with the first engaging structure 131 of the first connector 100a.

Then, taking the first cabinet 200 stacked on the second cabinet 300 as an example, the notch of the first fixing groove 211 faces upward, and the notch of the second fixing groove 311 faces downward. Therefore, one way to connect and fix the first cabinet 200 and the second cabinet 300 through two connecting members 100 can be as follows:

First, the first connector 100a is moved downward with the first bottom plate 12 facing upward and the second side plate 13 facing backward, so that the first side plate 11 of the first connector 100a is inserted into the first fixing groove 211 and hooked on the first cabinet 200.

Then, the second connecting member 100 b is moved upward with the first bottom plate 12 facing downward and the second side plate 13 facing backward, so that the first side plate 11 of the second connecting member 100 b is inserted into the second fixing groove 311 , thereby being hooked on the second cabinet 300 .

Next, push the second connector 100b along the left-right direction toward the first connector 100a until the first locking structure 131 of the first connector 100a is inserted into the first locking groove 132 of the second connector 100b, thereby achieving the locking and fixing of the first connector 100a and the second connector 100b, and finally realizing the assembly of the first cabinet 200 and the second cabinet 300 of the furniture.

It can be seen that by snapping the first locking structure 131 of the first connector 100a into the second slot 15 of the second connector 100b, the distance between the two connectors 100 can be adjusted to adapt to the assembly of cabinets of more different sizes, thereby improving the versatility of the connector 100.

Of course, in some other implementations, the first cabinet 200 and the second cabinet 300 may also be arranged in the left-right direction or in the front-back direction, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present application.

In some embodiments, the first cabinet 200 includes a first plate 21 and a second plate 22. The first plate 21 is provided with a first fixing groove 211, and the second plate 22 is plugged into the first fixing groove 211. Therefore, it can also be understood that the first fixing groove 211 for plugging the second plate 22 is reused for plugging the first side plate 11, so that the slots on the first cabinet 200 can be reduced, so as to reduce the production steps of the furniture, and of course, the strength of the first cabinet 200 can also be improved.

In some embodiments, the first cabinet 200 has a first access opening (not shown in the figure) to facilitate access to items. The first fixing groove 211 can be located on the side of the first cabinet 200 away from the first access opening.
