Abstract
汽车方向盘的轮缘和轮辐钢筋模制于一塑料本体内,该本体呈现给驾驶员一个完整的前表面。该方向盘的塑料本体在其背面具有一容腔,该容腔由一装于转向柱上的毂板封住。容腔和毂板用作气囊存放组件,里面容纳充气器和折叠的气囊。方向盘本体的前表面最好在其隐藏侧刻痕,形成破裂线,以释放膨胀的气囊。
Description
本发明属于汽车气囊领域，尤其是涉及一种组合成单一装置的方向盘和驾驶员侧气囊存放组件。
传统的驾驶员侧气囊存放组件是设置在方向盘前方的一个凹槽中的分开的装置。因而在气囊存放组件与方向盘的剩余前表面相汇处，形成一环绕该气囊存放组件的裂缝。该裂缝容易聚集垃圾，并且很不美观。最好使方向盘呈现在驾驶员面前的是一个基本完整的表面。
1995年4月19日公开的欧洲专利公开号No.EP 0648661A1中描述了用来解决上述问题的一种装置。从专利公开揭示了一种方向盘，其与方向盘轮缘成一体的本体上具有一割开的前表面。轮缘部分与细长的轮辐相连，这些轮辐与方向盘安装轮毂相接合。气囊存放组件与方向盘的中央本体相连，并用螺钉连接于细长的轮辐。因此，为了维修和更换该气囊存放组件，需要卸掉连接气囊存放组件与轮辐的螺钉，然后再卸掉将轮缘和中央本体连接于轮辐的螺钉。这样才能使方向盘的主体及其连接的气囊存放组件卸下。而后，需要将气囊存放组件从方向盘的中央本体上卸下。这将导致过多的工作量，进而造成额外的耗费，消除这种耗费是非常必要的。
因此，本发明的主要目的是提供一种模制体形式的方向盘，该模制体具有完整的前表面，它可以一次性卸下而露出气囊存放组件。本发明的其它目的、特征和优点将从以下的描述和所附的权利要求书中变得明了。
本发明包括一个呈模制体形式的方向盘，该模制体围绕于方向盘轮缘和轮辐周围。该模制体形成一容腔，它位于与方向盘轴相连的一毂板上。该容腔用作气囊存放组件，容纳折叠起来的气囊和充气器。
图1是本发明的方向盘和气囊存放组件的前视图或驾驶员端视图；
图2是基本沿图1中的2-2线剖开的剖视图；
图3是表示出将气囊保持于方向盘中的一种方法的局部的放大剖视图；
图4是可用于本发明的一气囊保持环的平面图；
图5与图3相类似，它表示图3所示保持环的安装方式。
按照本发明，一具有中央凹陷区12的毂板10安装于轮毂14上，该轮毂用传统的装置固定于转向柱16的端部。呈轮缘钢筋18形式的方向盘安装于一条或多条轮辐钢筋20的一端，这些轮辐钢筋整体地模制于一塑料本体22中，这样就提供了一个完整的表面24，如图1所示。本体22形成有一内部容腔26。叠于容腔26上面的本体22的前表面，在其容腔侧有一部分制得较薄以形成一或多条破裂线28、30，这些破裂线按照传统方式设计成可以裂开，用来在启动时放出气囊。方向盘是利用诸如螺钉32之类的固定装置安装于毂板10上，这些螺钉32延伸穿过毂板10并插入轮辐钢筋20。如此安装后，轮辐钢筋20从毂板径向朝外延伸，轮缘钢筋位于一个在离开转向柱16的方向上与毂板10相隔开的平面内。一个传统充气器38的环形的安装凸缘36也通过螺母和螺栓34可拆地固定于毂板10上。该充气器38也向下延伸入毂板的中央凹陷区12。容腔26还封有一折叠的气囊40。由此可以看出，所揭示的综合的方向盘本身也自然地成为气囊存放组件。
当气囊或其充气器需要维修或更换时，只需拆下螺钉32，就可卸去方向盘而完全露出气囊和充气器。通常在方向盘背面侧开口的一罩盖42，或者是可以被卸下，或者是设有槽口，以便拆装螺钉32。
由于本发明的气囊存放组件没有与方向盘本身分开的外壳，因此，在气囊的安装方式上可实现简单的结构。气囊40里面形成有一个传统的圆形开口44。围绕该开口的周边区域可安装于充气器安装凸缘36与毂板10之间。这在图3的放大细节图中示出。在图中可以看到，气囊40位于其开口44周围的织物被置于充气器安装凸缘36与毂板10之间。在这个位置，气囊由用来同时将气囊和充气器安装于毂板上的螺母和螺栓34压紧和保持，因而实现了零部件和安装工作量的经济性。
如果认为有必要增加夹持气囊40开口的摩擦，可采用图4所示、在美国专利No.5,443,284中所揭示的这种类型的保持环46。所示的环有四个安装孔48，用来容纳将充气器38装于毂板10上的螺栓34。它绕其圆周还冲有八个U形切口。每个切口中的材料向下弯折而形成八个从八个U形孔52处垂下的薄片50。如图5所示，该保持环安装在气囊40位于其开口44周围的织物顶部。毂板10上具有合适的孔54，用来容纳穿透织物的薄片50。如果需要的话，这些薄片可以更长一些，并在毂板下翻边，以实现更牢的固定。除了增加气囊上的保持力，保持环还可由一种绝热材料制成，以将气囊织物与充气器发生的一些气体所产生的强热隔离。
现在，可以说本发明的许多优点对于本技术领域的技术人员来说已经明了。同样所明白的是，在不脱离本发明的精神和范围的情况下，可以对其进行许多变化和变型。因此，以上的描述应被认为是示例性的，而不是限制性的。本发明仅由所附权利要求的范围所限制。
Claims (8)
1.一种汽车方向盘，包括：
一可直接连接于一转向柱并从那里基本沿径向朝外延伸的毂板；所述毂板具有一中央凹陷区；
一轮辐钢筋，它具有一可直接连接于所述毂板的第一端和一第二端，该第二端在第一端如此连接的情况下从所述毂板径向朝外而设置在一个在离开所述转向柱的方向上与所述毂板相隔开的平面内；
一位于所述隔开的平面内并固定于所述轮辐钢筋第二端的轮缘钢筋；
一单件式模制塑料本体，它包绕所述轮辐和轮缘钢筋并与它们形成一体，并在所述轮辐钢筋直接连接于所述毂板时形成一个位于所述毂板上方的内部容腔。
一气囊充气器，它安装于所述毂板上，并位于所述中央凹陷区内和模制塑料本体的所述内部容腔内；
一折叠于所述容腔内的气囊，所述气囊具有一从所述充气器接纳充气气体的开口；所述充气器和气囊在所述轮辐钢筋从所述毂板上拆下并且所述模制体卸去时完全暴露；
将所述轮辐钢筋第一端可拆地固定于所述毂板上的装置。
2.如权利要求1所述的方向盘，包括：
多个轮辐钢筋，每个均有一可直接连接于所述毂板的第一端和一从所述毂板径向朝外设置的第二端；
其中，所述轮缘钢筋固定于每个所述轮辐钢筋的第二端。
3.如权利要求1所述的方向盘，包括：
所述充气器上的一环状安装凸缘；
所述气囊的开口设于所述安装凸缘与所述毂板之间；
将所述安装凸缘可拆地固定于所述毂板上并同时将所述气囊的开口固定于所述凸缘与所述毂板之间的装置。
4.如权利要求3所述的方向盘，其中，所述用于可拆固定的装置另外还包括：
一在所述毂板与所述充气器之间围绕所述气囊开口的保持环；
从所述保持环上延伸出来、围绕着所述开口在诸隔开的位置穿透气囊的装置。
5.如权利要求4所述的方向盘，其中，所述穿透装置容纳于所述毂板中与其对准的开口中。
6.如权利要求3所述的方向盘，包括：
多个轮辐钢筋，每个均有一可直接连接于所述毂板的第一端和一从所述毂板径向朝外设置的第二端；
其中，所述轮缘钢筋固定于每个所述轮辐钢筋的第二端。
7.如权利要求4所述的方向盘，包括：
多个轮辐钢筋，每个均有一可直接连接于所述毂板的第一端和一从所述毂板径向朝外设置的第二端；
其中，所述轮缘钢筋固定于每个所述轮辐钢筋的第二端。
8.如权利要求5所述的方向盘，包括：
多个轮辐钢筋，每个均有一可直接连接于所述毂板的第一端和一从所述毂板径向朝外设置的第二端；
其中，所述轮缘钢筋固定于每个所述轮辐钢筋的第二端。
