Description

Technical field

The present disclosure relates generally to the technical field of containers, and more specifically to stackable containers, and even more specifically to stackable containers made from paper materials.

Background technique

Today, bottles and containers are used all over the world and come in many different sizes, shapes and materials. Today, some standard containers are made of plastic or thin paper materials. Below are a few examples of the majority found in the prior art and a few of the roadblocks.

It is convenient to use plastic materials to make containers. However, plastics are often not biodegradable or compostable, and microplastics and plastic waste are a large source of pollution that end up in nature and oceans.

Beverage containers made of paper material are often closed with plastic lids. For example, takeaway coffee cups and resealable paper containers such as some Tetra Pak containers both often have lids made of plastic that are pressed or screwed onto the container to allow The container is closed. This can also be problematic due to plastic pollution.

Many prior art containers are difficult to efficiently stack and package both when filled and when unfilled. This increases the environmental footprint of the product. Some prior art containers also require specific equipment to fill the container, making it more difficult for new businesses to use packaging containers for their products.

Accordingly, there is a need in the art to provide new containers for at least partially eliminating some of the above problems.

Contents of the invention

The inventor arrived at the insight that there was a need for a container that could be effectively sealed and suitable for containing substances, such as beverages, other types of food products such as rice or salt, or granular products, while being made of an at least partially biodegradable material production. Furthermore, the inventors have arrived at the insight that there is a need for a container having a shape that allows multiple containers to be packed compactly and efficiently both when filled and when unfilled.

More and more sustainable solutions for reducing plastic pollution are becoming available on the market. Molding pulp, fiber materials is a standard method for making containers, trays and other types of packaging. Generally, the steps are as follows: make the mold a mirror image of the finished paper product; drill holes through the mold and attach a screen to the surface of the mold; dip the mold into the pulp; The holes are evacuated so that the pulp layer adheres to the mold, and the screen prevents the pulp from clogging the holes.

The mold is removed, and the pulp adhered to the sides of the mold is removed and the pulp is dried, forming a paper product. Depending on the type of paper product, different techniques can be used to remove the product from the mold. In so-called "wet" manufacturing, a transfer mold mates with the fiber product and moves the resulting "wet part" to a heat press, which compresses and dries the fiber material to increase density and provide a smooth outer surface Finishes.

Other ways of molding pulp are available. For example, by pressing the material between a female mold and a male mold, moisture can be drained from the material and a paper product with a desired shape can be formed.

Paper-based materials such as fiber-based products are recyclable, biodegradable, compostable, and do not end up in the ocean like plastic. Therefore, paper materials are preferred as a replacement for many plastic products available today.

Paper materials are advantageous over plastic products in many ways. However, beverage containers made of paper materials may require some kind of lining or coating depending on the beverage to be served and the time the beverage is to be held inside the container. This could, for example, be some kind of water-impermeable coating along the inner surface of the container. Coatings can be made from many different materials, such as cellulose-based materials or plastics.

Other factors that may increase the environmental footprint of a product is how appropriately said product may be stacked or packaged to ensure that shipping large quantities of the product is as environmentally friendly as possible. Therefore, it is important to have a shape that allows efficient stacking. Prior art containers are generally non-stackable and include shapes that are unsuitable for stacking the containers both when unfilled and filled.

The present disclosure seeks to provide at least some embodiments of containers that overcome at least some of the disadvantages discussed above. More specifically, the present disclosure aims to provide an at least partially biodegradable container that can be used for different beverages and food products, which container can be efficiently stacked both when filled and when empty. More specifically, the present disclosure seeks to provide a stackable container that can be shipped to companies/businesses in a stacked and unassembled manner, that can be easily filled and filled by companies wishing to sell their products. seal. Furthermore, the present disclosure aims to provide a container that is at least partially biodegradable and that can be used for beverages or granular products, such as food products, such as rice, salt or beans.

In a first aspect of the present disclosure, a container configured to contain a substance and extend along an axis A is provided. The container includes a container body configured to contain a substance. The container body includes a top portion. Furthermore, the container body includes a closing section arranged in an opposite end of the container body compared to the top portion. The closed section includes a first circular cross-section having a first radius in a plane transverse to the axis A. The closed section also includes a second circular cross-section having a second radius in a plane transverse to the axis A, the second radius being greater than the first radius. The closing section also includes an annular wall extending from the second circular cross-section to the first circular cross-section such that the annular wall forms an angle α with respect to the axis A. The closing section is arranged so that the first circular cross-section faces the top portion. The container body also includes a container wall extending from the closure section to the top portion. The container also includes a sealing structure. The sealing structure includes a circular bottom plate configured to seal the container body and a sealing wall extending around the circular bottom plate. The sealing wall is inclined at an angle α relative to the axis A. The sealing wall is configured to engage the annular wall, and the sealing structure is configured to be pressed into the closure section to seal the container.

In a second aspect of the disclosure, a method for filling a container according to the first aspect is provided. The method includes arranging the container such that the closure section is arranged facing upwards. In a sequential step, the container body is then filled via the closing section. Then in a sequential step the container body is closed by pressing the sealing structure into the closing section and finally the container is arranged with the top part facing upwards.

Thus, a container and a method of filling the container are provided, which container has the first function of providing an easily sealable container for any type of substance. The advantage of the inclined annular wall is that it provides a novel and simple way of closing the container. The container can simply be filled from the closure section and the sealing structure then pressed into the closure section to achieve a tight seal. Another advantage of this container is that it is easy to stack both when unfilled and when filled. For example, containers may arrive at the customer or factory in individual stacks. One stack houses a plurality of container bodies arranged within each other, and the other stack houses a plurality of sealing structures. This is an efficient and simple way to provide stackable containers to users who want to fill multiple containers with substances, such as beverages or food, and sell these containers. Due to the stacking capabilities of the containers, it is efficient when delivering many containers to customers.

The container may be configured as a container for a beverage, and the substance may be a fluid or beverage. It will be understood that the substance may be any type of substance suitable for storage in a container according to the invention. For example, the substance may be any type of food or drink that is consumable by humans.

According to an embodiment, the angle α is between 2 and 8 degrees, and more preferably between 4 and 6 degrees. The advantage of this embodiment is that if the angle α is too large, the sealing structure will easily detach from the closed section. If the angle is between 2 and 8 degrees, the sealing structure can be pressed into the closing section and a tight seal will be achieved. More preferably, α is between 4 and 6 degrees, which will help achieve an even tighter seal.

According to another embodiment, the top portion includes a spout connected to the container body and configured to deliver the substance to the user. The top portion also includes a cover element configured to seal the spout. The spout includes an annular spout wall that is inclined at an angle between 2 and 8 degrees relative to the axis A, and the cover element includes a cover recess and is configured to press downwardly on the spout. This embodiment is advantageous in that the sealing structure does not have to be removed to access the substance for drinking, for example where the substance is a beverage. The user can remove the cover element which is pressed onto the spout arranged on the top part. The spout and cover element are closed in the same way as the closing section and sealing structure, but instead the cover element is pressed against the spout to achieve the seal. This embodiment is suitable for reusable and refillable containers. Users can fill the bottle through the spout. The user can also fill the bottle first through the closure section at the bottom and then sequentially by removing the cap element and filling through the spout.

According to another embodiment, the spout includes a spout sealing edge extending around the annular spout wall. The cover element includes a spout sealing recess extending around the cover recess and configured to receive the spout sealing edge when the cover element is pressed onto the spout. This embodiment is advantageous in that it creates an even tighter seal than would be the case without the spout sealing edge. The user can press the cover element onto the spout until the spout sealing edge is seated within the spout sealing recess. This structure will help create a strong seal that will prevent any spillage of substances, such as beverages.

According to another embodiment, the top portion includes a spout connected to the container body and configured to deliver the substance to the user. The spout includes a set of spout threads extending around the spout. The top portion also includes a cap element configured to seal the spout and including a set of corresponding threads configured to receive the set of spout threads when the cap element is screwed onto the spout. This embodiment has the advantage that the sealing structure does not have to be removed in order to access the substance, for example for drinking. The cap element, which is threaded onto the spout, can be removed by the user. This embodiment is suitable for reusable and refillable containers. Users can fill the bottle through the spout. The user can also fill the bottle first through the closure section at the bottom and then sequentially by removing the cap element and filling through the spout.

According to another embodiment, the container further includes a sealing surface extending across the top portion to ensure that the substance is contained within the container body. The sealing surface includes a piercing section, and the piercing section includes a material capable of being pierced by the drinking straw. This embodiment has the advantage that the sealing structure does not have to be removed in order to access the substance, for example for drinking. The user can simply pierce the piercing section with a drinking straw to access the substance, which is preferably a beverage in this embodiment. This embodiment is suitable for single use containers.

According to another embodiment, the sealing wall includes a sealing edge extending around the sealing wall and projecting therefrom in a radial direction relative to the axis A. The closure section includes a receiving recess extending around the interior of the closure section and configured to receive the sealing edge when the sealing structure is pressed into the closure section. This embodiment is advantageous in that the seal achieved can be even tighter than without the sealing edge and receiving recess. Press the sealing edge into the receiving recess and seal. Furthermore, it is advantageous that the user can know when the container is fully closed by feeling when the sealing edge is received in the receiving recess. It is understood that there may be more than one sealing edge and more than one receiving recess.

According to another embodiment, the sealing structure includes a contrasting color compared to the container body, and the sealing structure is configured to be completely enclosed by the closure section. This embodiment is advantageous in that it helps the user understand when the container is fully closed. If the sealing structure is not placed correctly, the sealing structure will protrude from the closed section and will be visible to the user due to the contrasting color. This is advantageous because the user can then correct the error and close the container correctly.

According to another embodiment, a circular bottom plate is placed at the top end of the sealing wall, so that the sealing structure includes a hollow space along the axis A facing away from the container body. An advantage of this embodiment is that the hollow space will be large enough to receive the top of another container. This is advantageous when packaging or stacking many containers and allows for tight and compact packaging. This may help reduce the environmental footprint of the product and lower transportation costs.

According to another embodiment, the container is made of paper material. This embodiment is advantageous in that the paper material is biodegradable and more environmentally friendly than plastic. It is also advantageous that the paper material can be easily made relatively hard or rigid, which is preferred. Paper material refers to any type of paper, cellulose-based or fiber-based material that is recyclable and/or biodegradable. Paper materials can be formed from different kinds of mixtures of fibrous materials used in paper making, recycled materials, or other types of materials.

According to another embodiment, the paper material is formed from a fiber-based slurry including a fiber substrate including at least 50% by weight of Old Corrugated Container (OCC), a moisture barrier agent and an oil barrier agent. . Moisture barrier and oil barrier agents are each in the range of about 1% to 4% by weight. This embodiment is advantageous in that the OCC is a recycled material, which further reduces the environmental footprint of the product.

According to another embodiment, the paper material is formed from a fiber-based slurry including a fiber base material including at least 10% softwood (SW), a moisture barrier agent and an oil barrier agent. The moisture barrier agent and oil barrier agent are each in the range of about 1% to 4% by weight. This embodiment is advantageous in that SW such as bamboo or bagasse are preferred materials that are more environmentally friendly than plastic. Furthermore, fiber-based slurries with the above-mentioned components form good mixtures for use in beverage containers or bottles. Another advantage of this embodiment is that some SW materials are residues from other industries, and therefore are materials that do not consume too much of the earth's resources, but can help the product reduce its environmental footprint.

According to another embodiment, the paper material is formed by vacuum forming fiber-based slurry. This embodiment is advantageous in that it is a standard way of making paper products and the technology is readily available. Other types of molding are also possible, such as pressing a fiber-based slurry or mixture in a mold.

According to another embodiment, the fiber-based slurry further includes a strength additive in the range of 1.5% to 4% by weight. The advantage of this embodiment is that adding the strength additive makes the product, the bottle, more rigid because of the increased dry strength. Additionally, other benefits such as increased drainage and retention are features of the added strength additives.

According to another embodiment, at least the inner surface of the container body or the top side of the sealing structure includes an impermeable coating. An advantage of this embodiment is that different beverages affect the paper material in different ways. For some beverages, a coating may be necessary to maintain the integrity of the beverage container and prevent the beverage container from affecting the flavor of the beverage. Coatings can be made from many different materials, such as cellulose-based materials or plastics.

According to another embodiment, the cover element further comprises an annular shoulder element intended to engage with the inner wall of the spout. The annular shoulder element may provide further sealing of the container when the lid element is pressed against the beverage container and spout. Furthermore, having an annular shoulder element that engages the inner wall of the spout provides the container with greater structural integrity, which is advantageous.

It is noted that other embodiments are conceivable using all possible combinations of the features recited in the above embodiments. Therefore, the present disclosure also relates to all possible combinations of the features mentioned herein. Detailed ways

As shown in the figures, the dimensions of various elements and regions may be exaggerated for illustrative purposes, and these dimensions are therefore provided to illustrate the general structure of various embodiments. The same reference numbers always refer to the same elements.

Exemplary embodiments will now be described more fully hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which currently preferred embodiments are shown. This invention may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein; rather, these embodiments are provided for thoroughness and completeness, and to fully convey the scope of the invention. To those skilled in the art.

It will be understood that the shape of the various embodiments shown in the drawings may vary depending on the intended use of the container. Different shapes are convenient in different situations, and the container may, for example, resemble a standard takeaway cup or plastic bottle available today, or the container may not be such. The drawings are not intended to narrow the scope of protection of the shape of the beverage container.

Throughout this detailed description, the container will be referred to as a beverage container, and the substance contained in the container will be referred to as a beverage. However, it will be understood that other types of containers including the features of beverage containers discussed below are equally reasonable. The substance may be, for example, rice, salt, coffee powder, beans, and other types of food products such as granular food products, and the container may then be referred to as a food container. This description is not intended to narrow the scope of protection, but merely to provide an example in which a container according to the invention can be used.

Referring to Figure 1, an illustration of a beverage container 100 according to an embodiment of the invention is disclosed.

140。Beverage container 100 is configured to contain a beverage and extends along axis A. Beverage container 100 includes a container body 110 configured to contain a beverage. The container body 110 includes a top portion 120 and a closing section 130 which is arranged in an opposite end of the container body compared to the top portion. The closed section 130 includes a first circular cross-section having a first radius r1 in a plane transverse to the axis A. The closed section also includes a second circular cross-section having a second radius r2 in a plane transverse to the axis A. The second radius r2 is larger than the first radius r1. Furthermore, the closing section includes an annular wall extending from the second circular cross-section to the first circular cross-section, such that the annular wall forms an angle α with respect to the axis A. The closing section 130 is arranged so that the first circular cross-section faces the top portion 120 . Beverage container 100 also includes a container wall 140 extending from closure section 130 to top portion 120 .

Beverage container 100 also includes sealing structure 150 . The sealing structure includes a circular bottom plate 160 configured to seal the container body 110 . The sealing structure 150 also includes a sealing wall 170 extending around the circular bottom plate 160 and inclined at an angle α relative to the axis A. The sealing wall 170 is configured to engage the annular wall. The sealing structure 150 is configured to be pressed into the closure section 130 to seal the beverage container 100 .

The closure section 130 is arranged such that the closure section 130 is at least partially conical in shape, and the sealing structure 150 is arranged such that the sealing structure 150 matches the shape of the closure section 130 such that when the sealing structure 150 is pressed into the closure section 130 At this time, the sealing structure 150 is stuck and forms a seal on the beverage container 100 . This is achieved by choosing a suitable angle α.

Angle α can be between 2 and 8 degrees. The angle α can also be between 4 and 6 degrees. The angle α can be selected depending on the material of the beverage container 100 and the friction generated between the sealing wall 170 and the closing section 130 . An angle α that is too large is not preferred because the sealing structure 150 may detach from the closure section 130 . An angle α of approximately 6 degrees is preferred. However, as stated, different angles are possible with preferred materials and different embodiments.

The beverage container 100 disclosed in Figure 1 has further features. Top portion 120 includes a spout 180 fluidly connected to the container body and configured to deliver a beverage to a user. Beverage container 100 and top portion 120 also include a cover element 190 configured to seal spout 180 . The spout includes an annular spout wall that is inclined relative to the axis A at an angle of between 2 and 8 degrees. The cover element 190 includes a cover recess 195 and is configured to press down on the spout. This embodiment is advantageous in that the sealing structure 130 does not have to be removed for drinking. The user can remove the cover element 190 which is pressed onto the spout 180 placed on the top part. The spout 180 and the cover element 190 are closed in the same way as the closure section 130 and the sealing structure 150, but instead the cover element 190 is pressed onto the spout 180 to achieve the seal. This embodiment is suitable for a reusable and refillable beverage container 100 . The user can fill the bottle through spout 180. The user can also fill the bottle first through the bottom closure section 130 and additionally in sequence by removing the cap element 190 and filling through the spout 180 .

In the beverage container 100 of FIG. 1 , the circular bottom plate 160 is disposed at the top end of the sealing wall 170 so that the sealing structure 150 includes a hollow space 155 along axis A facing away from the container body 110 . This embodiment is advantageous in that the hollow space 155 can be large enough to enclose the top of another beverage container 100 . This is advantageous when packaging or stacking many beverage containers 100 and allows for tight and compact packaging. This may help reduce the environmental footprint and transportation costs of the product.

The sealing structure 150 may include a contrasting color compared to the container body 110 and the sealing structure 150 may be configured to be fully enclosed by the closure section 130 . This embodiment is advantageous in that it helps the user understand when the beverage container 100 is fully closed. If the sealing structure 150 is not placed correctly, the sealing structure 150 will protrude from the closure section 130 and will be visible to the user due to the contrasting color. This is advantageous in that the user can then correct the error and close the beverage container 100 correctly.

In comparison to the beverage container 100 of Figure 1, prior art beverage containers are typically inverted so that a larger circular cross-section cup is placed at the top of the container. However, this is ineffective when packaging many containers because there is no way to easily stack many containers on top of each other. This embodiment is advantageous in that it allows refillable paper beverage containers to be easily stacked in larger quantities.

Beverage container 100 is easy to stack both when filled and when unfilled. When delivering different parts of the beverage container 100, these parts can be stacked in a convenient manner. For example, a number of container bodies 110 may be stacked inside each other, and a number of sealing structures 150 may be stacked inside each other. This will allow the user to remove the container body 110 from a stack when filling many beverage containers 100 with a beverage (or with any other substance, such as rice or salt). The user then fills the container body 110 and removes the sealing structure 150 from the other stack and closes the beverage container 100 . The present invention provides customers with a simple and efficient way to fill large quantities of containers 100 without the need for specific machines or equipment.

Beverage container 100 may be made of paper material. In some embodiments, only certain portions of the beverage container may be made of paper material.

Paper material is any material made from fiber-based materials, cellulose-based materials, or similar materials that are biodegradable and recyclable.

Portions of beverage container 100 may be made of fiber-based materials, for example. For example, the fiber-based slurry can be pressed or shaped to form a paper material, cardboard material, or other biodegradable material.

Paper materials can be formed from fiber-based pulp. Fiber-based products are biodegradable, compostable, and do not end up in the ocean like plastic does. Therefore, fiber-based products are preferred as replacements for many plastic products available today.

In different embodiments, various portions of beverage container 100 may be formed from different types of fiber-based slurries. The following are several examples, however these examples are not to be considered limiting and other materials and mixtures and proportions are also contemplated.

The paper material may be formed from a fiber-based slurry that may include at least 50% by weight of old corrugated box (OCC). Additionally, the fiber-based slurry may include moisture release agents and oil release agents. The moisture barrier agent and oil barrier agent may be in the range of about 1 to 4% by weight each.

The paper material may be formed from a fiber-based pulp, which in another embodiment may include at least 10% softwood (SW). Additionally, the fiber-based slurry may include moisture release agents and oil release agents. The moisture barrier agent and oil barrier agent may be in the range of about 1 to 4% by weight each.

The fiber-based pulp may also have base fibers from any of the following groups: bagasse, bamboo, newsprint (NP). Other types of fibrous materials can also be used to form paper materials.

The fiber-based slurry may also include strength additives in the range of 1.5% to 4% by weight. The strength additives may be added to enhance structural stiffness.

Molding pulp, fiber materials is a standard method for making containers, trays and other types of packaging. Generally, the steps are as follows: Make the mold a mirror image of the finished paper product; Drill holes through the mold and attach screens to the surface of the mold; Dip the mold into the pulp; While the mold is immersed in the pulp A vacuum is drawn through the holes so that the pulp layer adheres to the mold, and the screen prevents the pulp from clogging the holes.

The mold is removed and the pulp adhering to the sides of the mold is removed and the pulp is dried, forming a paper product. Depending on the type of paper product, different techniques can be used to remove the product from the mold. In so-called "wet" manufacturing, a transfer mold is fitted to the fiber product, and the resulting "wet part" is moved to a heat press, which compresses and dries the fiber material to increase density and Provides a smooth exterior surface finish.

Portions of beverage container 100 may be formed from fiber-based slurry and a vacuum former according to the procedures described above. Beverage container 100 may be formed, for example, by a method including providing a fiber-based slurry mixture. A mold comprising a wire mesh is immersed which contains a mirror image of the parts of the beverage container to be formed. A vacuum is then drawn across the screen so that the fiber-based slurry accumulates at the surface of the screen. The mold is then removed from the fiber-based slurry mixture and the molded parts are removed from the surface of the screen. Finally the molded parts are pressed in a hot press. However, other steps of standard vacuum forming may be incorporated into the method for realizing the functional beverage container 100 and corresponding container parts.

The different parts of the beverage container can also be formed in other ways. For example, female and male molds of the container body 110 may be constructed. Fiber-based slurry or other suitable material can be poured into the negative mold. The male mold can then be used to press the material against the sides of the female mold, creating the correct shape. The mold may be constructed so that moisture within the material is drained through meshes in the female and male molds during pressing.

Other ways of forming the beverage container and different parts of the beverage container are also possible, and the person skilled in the art will understand that different options are available. Different ways of forming the paper material may be preferred depending on the part and depending on the features of the embodiment.

It may also be advantageous for the beverage container to include a water-impermeable coating. The coating may be made of plastic material and may be a thin sheet covering the inside of the beverage container. For example, the coating may cover the inside portion of wall 140 and the top side of circular floor 160 . The coating may be impermeable and allow the beverage to be stored without penetrating the coating and contacting the walls of the beverage container. The coating may be made of plastic material or any other suitable water-impermeable material, such as some cellulose-based materials.

The beverage container 100 may include such coatings depending on the beverage stored within the beverage container 100 and the length of time the beverage is stored. Some beverages affect or damage paper materials more than others, and therefore coatings may be necessary for some beverages. Additionally, depending on how long the beverage is stored within the beverage container 100, a coating may be preferred. The longer the beverage is kept within the beverage container 100, the higher the risk that the beverage container 100 will be affected by the beverage. Therefore, coatings may be preferred for beverage containers 100 configured to store beverages over extended periods of time. The coating can have different thicknesses depending on the material from which the coating is made and depending on the beverage to be stored.

100。In addition, parts of the beverage container can also be made of other materials. For example, cover element 190 may be made of plastic, silicon, or metal. In the event that the original beverage container 100 is damaged, the lid element 190 can then be used multiple times and on different beverage containers 100 . It may be advantageous for some portions of the beverage container 100 to be made from a material that is more durable and suitable for long-term use, and for some portions of the beverage container 100 to be made from a more environmentally friendly material, such as a fiber-based material. For example, a silicon or metal lid element 190 may be customizable and fit all beverage containers 100. The user can then have the lid element 190 with a specific color so that the user knows this is their beverage container 100 .

It is also contemplated that the cover element 190 may include an annular shoulder element intended to engage the interior wall of the spout 180 . The annular shoulder element may provide further sealing of the beverage container 100 . Additionally, the engagement of the annular shoulder element with the inner wall of the spout 180 provides greater structural integrity to the beverage container, which is advantageous. When the beverage container 100 is closed by pressing the lid element 190 onto the spout 180 , the lid element will then provide a tight seal on both the outside and the inside of the spout 180 .

A method for filling a beverage container 100 as disclosed in this application is also provided. The method includes the step of arranging the beverage container 100 so that the closing section 130 is arranged facing upwards. In a subsequent step, the container body 110 is then filled via the closing section 130 . Then in a sequential step the container body 110 is closed by pressing the sealing structure 150 into the closing section 130 and finally the beverage container 100 is arranged with the top part 120 facing upwards.

100。When filling the beverage container 100 for the first time, it may be advantageous to fill the beverage container from the closure section 130 . At sequential times, if the beverage container 100 is used as a refillable container, the user can fill the beverage container 100 via the spout 180 by removing the lid element 190 .

Referring to Figures 2a and 2b, an illustration of a lid element 190 of an exemplary beverage container 100 according to an embodiment of the invention is disclosed.

The lid element 190 disclosed in Figures 2a and 2b is configured to be placed onto the beverage container 100 as disclosed with respect to Figure 1 .

The lid element 190 includes a lid recess 195 configured to fit over the spout of a beverage container. The lid recess includes an inner wall that is inclined at an angle of 2 to 8 degrees, such that the inner wall has the same inclination as the corresponding spout of the beverage container.

In other embodiments, cover element 190 may include a spout sealing recess extending about cover recess 195 . The spout sealing recess will be configured to receive a spout sealing edge extending around the outer wall of the spout such that a tighter seal is achieved when the cover element 190 is pressed onto the spout.

It is also contemplated that the cover element 190 may include an annular shoulder element intended to engage the inner wall of the spout. The annular shoulder element may provide further sealing of the beverage container. Furthermore, the engagement of the annular shoulder element with the inner wall of the spout provides greater structural integrity to the beverage container, which is advantageous. When the beverage container is closed by pressing the lid element 190 onto the spout, the lid element will then provide a tight seal on both the outside and the inside of the spout.

Referring to Figure 3, an illustration of a container body 110 of a beverage container 100 according to an embodiment of the invention is disclosed.

The closure section 130 of the beverage container 100 in FIG. 3 also includes a receiving recess 135 extending around the interior of the annular wall of the closure section 130 . The receiving recess 135 is configured to receive a sealing edge comprised by the sealing wall of the sealing structure, more details about such sealing edge being found in Figure 4. It will be appreciated that the closure section 130 may include more than one receiving recess 135, wherein each of the receiving recesses 135 will be configured to receive a respective sealing edge.

An advantage of this embodiment is that the seal achieved can be even tighter than without the sealing edge and receiving recess 135 . The sealing edge is pressed into the receiving recess 135 and sealing is achieved. Furthermore, advantageously the user can know when the beverage container is fully closed by feeling when the sealing edge is received in the receiving recess 135 .

Referring to Figures 4a and 4b, an illustration of a sealing structure 150 of a beverage container 100 according to an embodiment of the invention is disclosed.

175。The sealing structure 150 of Figures 4a and 4b includes a sealing edge 175 that extends around the sealing wall 170 and protrudes from the sealing wall 170 in a radial direction relative to the axis A. The sealing edge 175 is configured to be received by the receiving recess as disclosed with respect to FIG. 3 . It should be understood that more than one sealing edge 175 may be present.

Referring to Figures 5a and 5b, an illustration of a beverage container 100 according to an embodiment of the invention is disclosed.

The beverage container 100 in Figure 5a shows the beverage container with the lid element 190 removed from the spout 180 and top portion 120. The beverage container 100 may now be suitable for filling or refilling or for drinking from.

The beverage container 100 in Figure 5b shows the beverage container with a lid element 190 placed over the spout 180 and the top portion 120. Beverage container 100 is closed and ready for packaging or storage.

Referring to Figure 6a, an illustration of a beverage container 100 according to an embodiment of the invention is disclosed.

182。Additional details regarding spout 180 and cover element 190 can be found with respect to the previous figures. However, in the embodiment of beverage container 100 in Figure 6, spout 180 includes a spout sealing edge 182 that extends about the annular spout wall. Cover element 190 includes a spout sealing recess 192 that extends around the cover recess and is configured to receive spout sealing edge 182 when cover element 190 is pressed onto spout 180 .

This embodiment is advantageous in that it creates a tighter seal than would be the case without the spout sealing edge 182 . The user may press cover element 190 onto spout 180 until spout sealing edge 182 is seated within spout sealing recess 192 . This structure will help create a strong seal, which will prevent any spillage of the drink.

Referring to Figure 6b, an illustration of a beverage container 100 according to an embodiment of the invention is disclosed.

184。In the embodiment of beverage container 100 in Figure 6b, top portion 120 includes spout 180 fluidly connected to container body 110 and configured to deliver beverage to a user. Spout 180 includes a set of spout threads 184 extending around spout 180 . Top portion 120 also includes a cap element 190 configured to seal spout 180 and including a corresponding set of threads 194 configured to receive the set of spout threads 184 when cap element 190 is screwed onto spout 180 .

This embodiment is advantageous in that the sealing structure 150 does not have to be removed for drinking. The user can remove the cap element 190 which is screwed onto the spout 180 using threads. This embodiment is suitable for a reusable and refillable beverage container 100 . The user can fill the bottle through spout 180. The user can also fill the bottle first through the bottom closure section 130 and then sequentially by removing the cap element 190 and filling through the spout 180 .

The cover element 190 of Figure 6b may be difficult to construct from paper materials. Other materials may be useful in constructing the threads of cap element 190 and spout 180 . For example, the other materials are plastic materials or other suitable materials.

It is also contemplated that the cover element 190 of FIGS. 6 a and 6 b may include an annular shoulder element intended to engage the inner wall of the spout 180 .

Referring to Figure 6c, an illustration of a beverage container 100 according to an embodiment of the invention is disclosed.

The beverage container 100 of Figure 6c also includes a sealing surface 125 extending across the top portion 120 to ensure that the beverage remains inside the container body 110. The sealing surface 125 includes a piercing section 127 and the piercing section 127 includes a material capable of being pierced by the drinking straw. This embodiment is advantageous in that the sealing structure 150 does not have to be removed for drinking. The user can simply pierce the piercing section 127 with a drinking straw to obtain a drink. This embodiment is suitable for single use beverage containers.

If the beverage container 100 is made of paper material, the piercing section 127 may be made of a thinner paper material or the like.

In the embodiment of Figure 6c, the piercing section 127 is placed on a spout-like protrusion protruding from the sealing surface 125. However, it is also contemplated that the piercing section 127 may be placed in the same plane as the sealing surface 125, thereby providing the beverage container 100 with a planar top surface.

Referring to Figure 7, an illustration of a bottle 700 according to an embodiment of the invention is disclosed.

760。Bottle 700 is configured to contain fluid or particulate matter. Bottle 700 extends along axis A and includes a container body 710 configured to contain fluid or particulate matter. The container body 710 includes a top portion 720 including a first cross-sectional area A1 and a bottom portion 730 including a second cross-sectional area A2. The second cross-sectional area A2 is larger than the first cross-sectional area A1. Bottom portion 730 includes first opening 735 . The container body 710 also includes a container wall 740 extending from the top portion 720 to the bottom portion 720 so that the container body 710 has a tapered shape. Bottle 700 also includes a sealing structure 750 configured to seal first opening 735 . Additionally, bottle 700 includes a sealed second opening 760 .

Bottle 700 in Figure 7 includes a first opening 735 extending across the entire second cross-sectional area A2. The sealing structure 750 may have the same area and be configured to be pressed into the first opening 735 . Due to the tapered shape of container body 710, friction from bottom portion 730 will hold sealing structure 750 in place. The shape of the bottle 700 may be, for example, at least partially conical to achieve a tapered shape.

The top portion 720 and the bottom portion 730 may have a circular cross-section such that areas A1, A2 define a circular area. The cross-sections of the top portion 720 and the bottom portion 730 may also define other shapes, such as elliptical shapes.

Bottles 100 may be provided to the user in an empty and stacked manner. Due to the tapered shape of the bottles 100, one bottle 100 easily fits inside another bottle 100 according to the present invention. The same is true for the sealing structure 150, which may also be delivered in a stack.

As disclosed in Figure 7, a sealed second opening 760 may be placed in the top portion. The sealed second opening 760 may also be placed on the container wall 740 or any other part of the bottle 700. The sealed second opening 760 may be configured to be opened by a person intending to drink from or access the contents of the bottle 700 . The sealed second opening 760 may, for example, be covered by a permeable surface and accessible by piercing the permeable surface with a straw. Other figures related to the application present possible other embodiments.

760。In Figure 7, first opening 735 extends across the entire second cross-sectional area A2. And the top portion 720 is completely covered or sealed so that when filling the bottle 700 from the bottom portion 730, the bottle does not exit from the top portion 720. After filling the bottle 700, the bottle 700 is closed by pressing the sealing structure 750 into the first opening 735. When the sealing structure 750 is placed in the bottle 700, the bottle 700 is completely sealed, and in order to open the bottle 700, for example, the sealed second opening 760 can be opened.

Referring to Figure 8, an illustration of a bottle 800 according to an embodiment of the invention is disclosed.

If the bottom portion 830 and the top portion 820 have circular cross-sections, the bottle 800 may be the bottle 800 presented in FIG. 7 . However, bottle 800 may also have an oval cross-section or other shape.

Bottle 800 is configured to contain fluid or particulate matter and extends along axis A. Bottle 800 includes a container body 810 configured to contain fluid or particulate matter. The container body 810 includes a top portion 820 and a bottom portion 830, the bottom portion 830 being disposed at an end of the container body opposite the top portion. The bottom portion 830 includes a first circular cross-section having a first radius r1 in a plane transverse to the axis A. The bottom portion 830 also includes a second circular cross-section having a second radius r2 in a plane transverse to the axis A. The second radius r2 is larger than the first radius r1. Furthermore, the bottom portion 830 includes an annular wall 831 extending from the second circular cross-section to the first circular cross-section, such that the annular wall 831 is formed at an angle α relative to the axis A. The bottom portion 830 is arranged so that the first circular cross-section faces the top portion 820 . Bottle 800 also includes a container wall 840 extending from top portion 820 to bottom portion 830, thereby giving bottle 800 a tapered shape.

800。Bottle 800 also includes sealing structure 850. Sealing structure 850 includes a circular bottom plate 855 configured to seal container body 810 . The sealing structure 850 also includes a sealing wall 870 extending around the circular bottom plate 855 and inclined at an angle α relative to the axis A. Seal wall 870 is configured to engage annular wall 831 . The sealing structure 850 is configured to be pressed into the first opening 835 in the bottom portion 830 to seal the bottle 800 .

The bottom portion 830 is arranged such that the bottom portion 830 is at least partially conical in shape, and the sealing structure 850 is arranged such that the sealing structure 850 matches the shape of the bottom portion 830 such that when the sealing structure 850 is pressed into the bottom portion 830, the sealing structure 850 850 is jammed and forms a seal on the bottle 800 . This is achieved by selecting appropriate angles α and materials for each part of the bottle 800 .

Angle α can be between 2 and 8 degrees. The angle α can also be between 4 and 6 degrees. The angle α may be selected depending on the material of the bottle 800 and the friction generated between the sealing wall 870 and the bottom portion 830 . An angle α that is too large is not preferred because the sealing structure 850 may detach from the bottom portion 830 . An angle α of approximately 6 degrees is preferred. However, as stated, different angles may be preferred for different embodiments and materials.

The bottle 800 disclosed in Figure 8 has more features than the bottle 800 disclosed in Figure 7, which features may be preferred depending on the type of bottle 800 desired.

Top portion 820 includes a spout 880 fluidly connected to the container body and configured to deliver fluid or particulate matter to a user. Bottle 800 also includes a cap element 890 configured to seal spout 880 . The sealed second opening may be arranged in the spout 880 such that the sealed second opening is sealed by the cover element 890 . The spout includes an annular spout wall that is inclined relative to the axis A at an angle between 2 and 8 degrees. Cover element 890 includes cover recess 895 and is configured to press down on spout 880 such that spout 880 is enclosed by cover recess 895 . An advantage of this embodiment is that the sealing structure 850 does not have to be removed in order to access fluid or particulate matter. The spout 880 and cover element 890 in Figure 8 are closed in the same manner as the first opening 835 of the bottom portion 830 and the sealing structure 850, but instead the cover element 890 is pressed onto the spout 880 to achieve the seal. This embodiment is suitable for a reusable and refillable bottle 800. The user can fill the bottle through spout 880. The user can also fill the bottle first through the bottom portion 830 and then sequentially by removing the cap element 890 and filling through the spout 880 .

In the bottle 800 of Figure 8, the circular bottom plate 855 is placed at the top end of the sealing wall 870 so that the sealing structure 850 includes a hollow space 852 along axis A facing away from the container body 810. This embodiment is advantageous in that the hollow space 852 can be large enough to enclose the top portion 820 of the other bottle 800 . This is advantageous when packaging or stacking many bottles 800 and allows for tight and compact packaging. This can help reduce the product’s environmental footprint and transportation costs.

The sealing structure 850 may include a contrasting color compared to the container body 810 , and the sealing structure 850 may be configured to be completely enclosed by the bottom portion 830 . This embodiment is advantageous in that it helps the user understand when the bottle 800 is fully closed. If the sealing structure 850 is not placed correctly, the sealing structure 850 will protrude from the bottom portion 830 and be visible to the user due to the contrasting color. This is advantageous because the user can then correct the error and close the bottle 800 correctly.

Bottle 800 is easily stackable both when filled and when unfilled. When delivering different parts of the bottle 800, these parts can be stacked in a convenient manner. For example, a number of container bodies 810 may be stacked inside each other, and a number of sealing structures 850 may be stacked inside each other. This would allow the user to remove the container body 810 from a stack when filling many bottles 800 with a beverage (or with any other substance, such as rice or salt). The container body 810 is then filled and the sealing structure 850 is removed from the other stack and the bottle 800 is closed. The present invention provides customers with a simple and efficient way to fill large quantities of bottles 800 without the need for specific machinery or equipment.

Bottle 800 may be made of paper material. In some embodiments, only certain portions of the bottle may be made of paper material.

Paper material is any material made from fiber-based materials, cellulose-based materials, or similar materials that are biodegradable and recyclable.

Portions of bottle 800 may be made of fiber-based materials, for example. For example, the fiber-based slurry can be pressed or shaped to form a paper material, cardboard material, or other biodegradable material.

Paper materials can be formed from fiber-based pulp. Fiber-based products are biodegradable, compostable, and do not end up in the ocean like plastic does. Therefore, paper materials are preferred as a replacement for many plastic products available today.

In different embodiments, portions of bottle 800 may be formed from different types of fiber-based slurries.

In so-called "wet" manufacturing, a transfer mold mates with the fiber product and moves the resulting "wet part" to a heat press, which compresses and dries the fiber material to increase density and provide Smooth exterior finish.

Portions of bottle 800 may be formed from fiber-based slurry and a vacuum former according to the procedures described above. Bottle 800 may be formed, for example, by a method including providing a fiber-based slurry mixture. Dip into a mold that includes a wire mesh that contains a mirror image of the parts of the bottle to be formed. A vacuum is then drawn across the screen so that the fiber-based slurry accumulates at the surface of the screen. The mold is then removed from the fiber-based slurry mixture and the molded parts are removed from the surface of the screen. Finally the molded parts are pressed in a hot press. However, other steps of standard vacuum forming may be incorporated into the method for achieving functional bottle 800 and corresponding container parts.

Different parts of bottle 800 may be formed in other ways as well. For example, female and male molds of container body 810 may be constructed. Fiber-based slurry or other suitable material can be poured into the negative mold. The male mold can then be used to press the material against the sides of the female mold, creating the correct shape. The mold may be constructed so that moisture within the material is drained through meshes in the female and male molds during pressing.

Other ways of forming bottle 800 and different portions of the bottle are also possible, and those skilled in the art will understand that different options are available. Different ways of forming the paper material may be preferred depending on the part and depending on the features of the embodiment.

It may also be advantageous for the bottle 800 to include a water-impermeable coating. The coating may be made of plastic material and may be a sheet covering the inside of bottle 800. For example, the coating may cover the inside portion of the container body 810 and the top side of the circular bottom plate 855 . The coating may be impermeable and allow beverages to be stored without penetrating the coating and contacting the walls of the bottle 800. The coating may be made of plastic material or any other suitable material that is impermeable to water, such as some cellulose-based materials.

The bottle 800 may include such coatings depending on the beverage or substance stored within the bottle 800 and the period of time the substance is stored. For example, some beverages affect or damage paper materials more than others, and therefore coatings may be required for some beverages. Additionally, depending on how long the beverage is stored within bottle 800, a coating may be preferred. The longer the beverage is kept within the bottle 800, the higher the risk that the bottle 800 will be affected by the beverage. Therefore, coatings may be preferred for bottles 800 configured to store beverages over longer periods of time. The coating can have different thicknesses depending on the material from which the coating is made and depending on the beverage to be stored.

800。Additionally, portions of bottle 800 may be made of other materials. For example, cover element 890 may be made of plastic, silicon, or metal. In the event that the original bottle 800 is damaged, the cap element 890 can then be used multiple times and on different bottles 800 . It may be advantageous for some portions of the bottle 800 to be made from a material that is more durable and suitable for long-term use, and for some portions of the bottle 800 to be made from a more environmentally friendly material, such as a fiber-based material. For example, a silicon or metal cap element 890 may be customizable and fit all bottles 800. The user can then have the cap element 890 with a specific color so that the user knows this is their bottle 800.

It is also contemplated that the cover element 890 may include an annular shoulder element intended to engage the interior wall of the spout 880 . The annular shoulder element may provide further sealing of the bottle 800. Additionally, the engagement of the annular shoulder element with the inner wall of spout 880 provides greater structural integrity to bottle 800, which is advantageous. When the bottle 800 is closed by pressing the cap element 890 onto the spout 880 , the cap element will then provide a tight seal on both the outside and the inside of the spout 880 .

A method for filling a bottle 800 as disclosed in this application is also provided. The method includes the steps of removing the container body from the stack of container bodies. Fill the container body with fluid or granular material. Remove the sealing structure from the stack of sealing structures. And a sealing structure is used to seal the first opening of the container body.

800。When filling bottle 800 for the first time, it may be advantageous to fill bottle 800 from first opening 835 of bottom portion 830 . At sequential times, if the bottle 800 is used as a refillable container, the user can fill the bottle 800 via the second sealed opening located in the spout 880 by removing the cap element 890 .

Although features and elements are described above in specific combinations, each feature or element may be used alone without the other features or elements or in its respective form with or without the other features or elements. used in combination.

Furthermore, from a study of the drawings, the disclosure, and the appended claims, a skilled artisan may understand and effectuate variations to the disclosed embodiments in practicing the claimed invention. In the claims, the word "comprising" does not exclude other elements and the indefinite article "a" or "an" does not exclude a plurality. The mere fact that certain features are recited in mutually different dependent claims does not indicate that a combination of these features cannot be used to advantage.
