An aerosol-generating system according to claim 2, characterized in that the functional segments (3) are individual hollow structures or are filled with functional materials, wherein the functional materials are selected from one or more of cooling materials, flavoring materials or filtering materials, and the functional materials are in the form of one or more of bursting beads, particles, slow release gels or pastes.

An aerosol-generating system according to claim 2, wherein the second vent (71) and the first vent (31) are axially located between the end face of the functional section (3) on the side close to the filter section (4) and the end face of the aerosol-generating unit (1) on the side close to the barrier section (2).
5. An aerosol-generating system according to claim 2, characterized in that the axial position of the second ventilation aperture (71) and the first ventilation aperture (31) is located at the functional section (3) and close to one side of the barrier section (2).

An aerosol-generating system according to claim 1, wherein the outer diameter of the tube (5) is smaller than or equal to the inner diameter of the sleeve (7), the first ventilation holes (31) have a diameter of 0.01-3.5 mm and a number of 1-35, and the second ventilation holes (71) have a diameter of 0.01-3.5 mm and a number of 1-35.

An aerosol-generating system according to claim 1, characterized in that the first ventilation holes (31) are made by laser or mechanical perforation, punching through the tube (5), the ventilation holes (31) being pre-perforated before filling segments of the tube (5) or perforated after filling is completed.
8. An aerosol-generating system according to claim 1, wherein the outer layer of the tube (5) is further covered with a layer of decal for the purpose of aesthetic appearance and preventing leakage of aerosol-generating material in the tube (5) to the outside of the tube (5).
9. An aerosol-generating system according to claim 1, characterized in that the closure (6) is selected from a gas-permeable material, which by itself is gas-permeable, is selected from a paper material or an inorganic porous material, which is selected from alumina, silicon carbide, silicon nitride or diatomaceous earth.
