技术领域
本发明涉及矫形膝部支架,并且尤其涉及用于这种支架的衬垫或者支撑件。
背景技术
在矫形支架的护带以及横跨元件上使用衬垫。例如,受让于第二代美国有限公司(GENERATION II USA INC)的美国申请号No.6,969,364的主题为“Anatomically designed orthopedic knee brace”(“依据解剖学设计的矫形膝部支架”)描述了一种用于控制穿戴者膝关节的移动的矫形膝部支架。大腿和小腿接合元件由包括柔软可压缩材料、搭扣材料和亲水透气材料构成的薄层组合生产制造。适应压力分布的该柔软可压缩类型材料可提供为半椭圆形,从而适应不同腿的形状,而由柔软可压缩材料制成的大腿接合元件和小腿接合元件不会在穿戴者腿部上导致局部压力点。该说明书意于指示用该搭扣型材料将元件连接到横跨件上。但是,并没有描述或者显而易见得到各种定位能力,也没有暗示可用于小腿横跨件。

在Theodore B.Hogg发明的题为“腿支架支撑结构”的美国专利申请号No.6,524,265中,公开了一种矫形腿支架和改进的纵向支撑结构,其给穿戴者的腿部提供支撑。该专利示出了一个衬垫,其一端通过螺钉连接到横跨件,并且其另一端通过搭扣型连接而连接到护带上。该横跨件的一端具有多组孔,允许通过选择该多组孔中的特定孔来调整该横跨件在垂直支柱上的位置。但是,该衬垫是用于踝关节区域,具有平坦的轮廓,并非设计用于进行可调整的定位。
发明内容
设计本发明以允许相同的支撑垫可以用于右腿和左腿任一上,其可调整以对男性和女性不同的角度进行补偿,并允许出于每个患者的舒适度考虑而进行个体调整,以及允许支架旋转以正确地安装和接合对齐。

具体实施方式
首先,值得注意的是,附图中示出的矫形膝部支架仅仅是示意性的实例,而随后的对本发明的描述应当视为可应用于各种类型的膝部支架,例如本发明发明人的美国专利6,981,957的膝部支架。从附图中可见,通常,膝部支架1具有用于连接内侧和外侧的股骨臂5的上横跨件3、用于连接内侧和外侧的胫骨臂9的下横跨件7、以及用于连接外侧股骨臂和外侧胫骨臂且连接内侧股骨臂和内侧胫骨臂的铰链机构11。未示出上下后侧护带,所述护带连接到横跨件的内侧和外侧和/或内侧和外侧股骨臂和胫骨臂以将支架保持在穿戴者腿部。
现在将描述本发明与传统膝部支架的不同点。
可见,该下部或胫骨横跨件7具有两组孔14,在靠近相应外侧或内侧的胫骨臂9的每一侧各具有一组。但是,在横跨件的两侧都提供孔14是为了允许单个横跨件可同时用于左侧和右侧腿支架。在所给的情况下,只有位于患者腿部内侧的孔可用,因为该支撑件是用于接触胫骨前侧的平坦部分,由此最小化不必要的支架旋转。
扇形衬垫或者支撑件16由相当密度的泡沫材料制成,并具有从其前表面中心突出的安装销18。该销18的尺寸适于按压进入任意孔14,并通过摩擦配合保持在选定的一个孔14中;但是,在该支撑件由传统横跨件缓冲衬垫覆盖的情况下,该衬垫和腿将相对于该横跨件保持该支撑件,从而在支撑件和横跨件之间不需要牢固的直接连接件,例如,该销可安装在孔中而不需要摩擦配合,或者可使用双侧胶带相对于该横跨件定位和保持支撑件。该支撑件16前表面的曲率与横跨件7内侧的曲率相匹配。
该销18可通过各种方式固定到支撑件上,例如,通过粘接到板上或者具有可嵌入到支撑件的材料中的径向凸起臂。替代地,该销可以是支撑件的高密度泡沫材料的超模压的氨基甲酸乙酯覆盖物的一部分。
可由槽替换多组孔中的每个孔以允许到达更精细程度的位置调整,而不是采用摩擦配合的销连接。在这种情况下,需要固定器将支撑件16固定在合适的位置。例如,该销足够长而足以从横跨件7的相对侧凸出,其中凸出端带有螺纹以接收翼形螺母或者可紧固以将支撑件保持在合适位置上的其他固定装置。
从附图11中所见,其示出了左侧胫骨横跨件7,通过选择合适的孔14,支撑件16可以各种角度位置安装在横跨件7的内侧。在这点上,所示的位置只是示意性的并且还可获得各种其他的角度位置。如上所述,由于横跨件7的两侧均具有孔,相同的横跨件可同时用于左侧和右侧膝部支架;因而,附图11(b)-(e)代表用于左侧腿的位置,而附图11(f)-(i)代表用于右侧腿的位置。而且,支撑件位置的可调整性允许考虑男性和女性的不同角度,也允许了为了每位患者的舒适度而进行个体调整,以及最小化支架旋转用于正确地安装和接合对准。
该支撑件16的尺寸将基于支架的尺寸。虽然只有给定尺寸的支撑件可适于特定支架,但是应当理解可以向每个支架提供不同密度的支撑件,以便于协助向特定用户提供舒适的安装。

Claims (5)

1.一种膝部支架,包括:
内侧胫骨臂,
外侧胫骨臂,
内侧股骨臂,
外侧股骨臂,
连接所述内侧股骨臂和所述外侧股骨臂的上横跨件,
连接所述内侧胫骨臂和所述外侧胫骨臂的下横跨件,
连接所述外侧股骨臂和所述外侧胫骨臂的铰链机构,
连接所述内侧股骨臂和所述内侧胫骨臂的铰链机构,以及
由泡沫材料制成的扇形衬垫或支撑件,所述衬垫或支撑件具有前表面,所述前表面的曲率与所述横跨件的内侧的曲率相匹配,以及
用于相对于所述下横跨件的内侧保持所述衬垫或支撑件的装置,所述装置用于在多个角度位置中的任一角度位置中保持所述衬垫或支撑件。
2.根据权利要求1所述的膝部支架,其中用于相对于所述下横跨件的内侧保持所述支撑件的所述装置包括所述衬垫或支撑件上的销,所述销能够选择性地配合在位于所述下横跨件的内侧半部上的一组孔中的任意一个孔中。
3.根据权利要求1所述的膝部支架,其中用于相对于所述下横跨件的内侧保持所述支撑件的所述装置包括所述衬垫或支撑件上的销,所述销能够选择性地定位在沿着槽的多个位置中的任一位置中,所述槽被定位成沿所述下横跨件的内侧半部延伸,并且所述装置包括固定装置,所述固定装置用于将所述衬垫或支撑件固定在选定位置中。
4.根据权利要求1所述的膝部支架,其中用于相对于所述下横跨件的内侧保持所述支撑件的所述装置包括一片双面胶带。
5.根据权利要求1所述的膝部支架,其中所述衬垫或支撑件是具有不同密度的多个支撑件中的一个,所述多个支撑件中的每个支撑件都能够选择性地安装至所述下横跨件,以辅助对特定用户提供舒适的配合。
