Contents of the invention

It is therefore the object of the invention to design a furniture extension of this type in such a way that a plurality of different configurations of the front subassembly can be realized with a small number of components.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the front structural assembly comprises two mounting plates approximately aligned with the side frames and at least one front element connected to each mounting plate, said mounting plate having a adapters for connection to each side frame.

The idea of the invention is to provide a wide variety of front-side structural assemblies, wherein as few as possible different components are required for this purpose. These components are, on the one hand, the above-mentioned mounting plate and the adapter fastened thereto, and also the front element itself, which in turn is connected to the mounting plate. It is easily conceivable that, in particular for the front element, a large design space for realizing different structural forms can be realized.

The front element preferably comprises a front panel, one or more rails, or a combination of a front panel and at least one rail.

A wide range of design styling for front structural components is available through the selective use of front side panels or one or more crossbars. Furthermore, it is easily conceivable to obtain further design possibilities by means of different materials or combinations of different materials for the aforementioned front elements.

An advantageous development of the invention provides that further adapters can be fastened to the mounting plate for connecting the front component to other structural elements such as railings, side wall parts, front panels or the like.

This results in a further advantageous combination variety with regard to the design of the entire furniture extension part, for which it is not necessary to stock further parts.

The mounting plate and the adapter part are each preferably produced from a one-piece plastic part.

Particularly preferably, the mounting plate and the adapter part are designed as plastic injection-molded parts.

The mounting plate is preferably equipped at least in its visible surface area with a covering element made of metal, plastic or similar material.

In this way, a high-value, elegant front-side structural component can be realized with a low material outlay.

Detailed ways

FIG. 1 shows a furniture extension 1 in the form of a drawer, here in particular an inner drawer, which has two side frames 2 , a front structural component 20 and a rear wall 4 . The aforementioned structural elements together with the base 5 form a box-like furniture extension 1 .
