Abstract

A chopstick package (10) comprises a long bag (11) for accommodating a pair of chopsticks (16), and a guiding device is provided on at least a portion of the bag. The device is used to guide the user to fold at least a portion (12) of the bag (11) into a support so as to support the front end of the chopsticks (16) and place them on a plane after the chopsticks (16) are taken out of the bag.

Description

The invention relates to a chopsticks package and a chopsticks support

Chopsticks are widely used for eating and are often provided in bags for cleanliness. Chopstick holders are often used to support the front ends of a pair of chopsticks for personal hygiene when the chopsticks are not used temporarily during meals, so that they do not touch the table and put them on the table. Some restaurants or dining places do not have chopstick holders, and when chopsticks are not used, they can only be placed on other items, such as on plates or simply on the table.

The present invention seeks to alleviate this problem by providing a new packaging for chopsticks.

According to the present invention, there is provided a package for chopsticks, comprising an elongated bag containing a pair of chopsticks, at least a part of the bag has a guiding device for guiding the user to draw out the chopsticks and then fold the at least part of the bag into a support for the front end of the chopsticks stand on a surface.

Preferably, the guiding means are formed by a score line on said at least one part of the bag, whereby said part of the bag is stacked into a stand.

Preferably, the guide means is formed by imprinting on at least a part of said bag, whereby said bag is partially folded into a support.

Preferably, the guide means is formed by a perforated line in at least a part of said bag, along which line said part of the bag is folded into a frame.

In a preferred embodiment, at least part of said bag is an end of the bag which is detachable to be folded into a stand.

Preferably, the end is connected with the other parts of the bag through the perforation line extending transversely along the bag. partly separated.

In another preferred embodiment, at least a portion of said bag is formed by one of the front and rear sides of the bag, the faces being separable and folded into a frame.

In a different embodiment, the entire bag is folded into a stand.

Preferably the support, when formed, has an opposite end which is lifted to keep the front ends of said pair of chopsticks placed on the support.

The invention will be described in more detail below, by way of example only and with reference to the accompanying drawings.

Referring first to FIGS. 1 to 3 , there is shown a first chopsticks package 10 embodying the present invention in the form of a chopsticks bag 11 having a closed end 12 . The closed end 12 is defined by a transversely extending perforation line 13 which enables the end 12 to be torn separately from the remainder of the bag body 11 . As shown, at the end 12 there are fold lines 14, eg extruded, to define an intermediate interface, an elliptical central region 15 with two pointed points 15a.

During use, after taking out the chopsticks 16 prepackaged in the bag, the closed end 12 is torn from the rest of the bag body 11 . The user then folds the torn portion 12 along the fold line 14 into a chopstick holder 17 . When forming the stand, the central area 15 forms a support surface on which the front ends of the chopsticks 17 rest. Both ends 15a of the central region 15 are lifted or bent upward to prevent the tip of the chopsticks therebetween from falling off the support 17. As shown in FIG.

Figures 4 to 6 show a second chopstick package 20 embodying the present invention in the form of A long chopsticks bag 21 has some impression lines 22 at one end. The imprints 22 extend laterally along the bag body 21 and are distributed at predetermined intervals along the length of the bag body.

The chopstick bag 21 is designed to be folded along line 22 into a folded configuration (Figs. 4 and 5) and subsequently folded along its longitudinal axis (Fig. 5) to form a support 23 (Fig. 6) supporting the front ends of a pair of chopsticks 24.

7 to 9 show a third chopstick package 30 embodying the present invention in the form of a long chopstick bag 31 . The bag 31 is pre-extruded with curves 32 which resemble a chain of eight identical rings.

The chopstick bag 31 is designed to be able to be folded into a support 33 to support a pair of chopsticks or a spoon or the like. The bag 31 is first folded in half longitudinally about a printed or extruded transversely extending line 34 . Then fold down the opposite sides of the bag 31 between each pair of adjacent pre-crimping rings 32, so that the parts contained in each ring 32 are pressed down, so that the bag 31 becomes 4 hollow sections as shown in Figure 8 35 in series. Finally, the segments 35 connected in series are bent so that one end segment 35 overlaps the other end segment 35 to form a closed ring of three segments 35 , so that the segments 35 are connected together to form the bracket 33 .

Referring now to Figures 10 and 11, there is shown a fourth chopstick package 40 embodying the present invention in the form of a long chopstick bag 41 having a removable front 42. The long third of the bag face 42 is preprinted with creases 43 . First fold the bag one-third of its length, leaving crease 43 exposed, as shown in Figure 11-2. As shown in Figures 11-4 to 11-8, the bag surface 42 is further folded along the crease 43, and then the opposite ends 44 are slightly turned up (Figure 11-9), and finally the chopstick support 45 is formed. The opposite end 44 of the chopstick support 45 is used to hold the front ends of a pair of chopsticks 46 on the support 45 in use.

Referring now to Figures 12 and 13, a fifth chopstick package 50 embodying the present invention is shown. In the form of a long chopsticks pocket 51 with a removable front 52 pre-printed with creases 53 at 1/4 of its length. Fold the bag to bag length first 1/4 of the crease, and expose the crease 53 as shown in Figure 13-3. Then fold the above-mentioned folded bag surface 52 along the crease 53, so that the opposite ends 54 are stacked together to form a hollow box-like structure, as shown in Figures 13-5 and 13-6. Finally, release the end portion 54 ( FIG. 13-7 ) so that the folded structure unfolds naturally to form a chopstick support 55 . During use, the opposite end 54 of the chopstick support 55 protrudes upwards to keep a pair of chopsticks 56 or the front end of a spoon 57 placed on the support 55 .

As previously mentioned, it is understood that the lines guiding the user to fold the bag into a stand can be formed by printing or pressing. In a different embodiment, the guiding lines can be represented by perforated lines, so as to make the folding more convenient and easy.

The chopsticks packaging of the present invention provides a convenient method for storing, serving and using a pair of chopsticks, and no matter the bag or the holder is used once, it is beneficial to personal hygiene.

The present invention is described above only with examples, and those skilled in the art can make other improvements or changes to these examples without going beyond the scope defined by the claims of the present invention.
