Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of communication, in particular to a positioning method and system based on WIFI positioning and SUPL positioning and a mobile terminal.
Background
The mobile positioning service is a value-added service in which a mobile network acquires position information (latitude and longitude coordinates) of a mobile terminal through a specific positioning technology, provides the position information for a user, a communication system or a third party, and provides information related to the position of the mobile user by the support of certain electronic map information. The mobile positioning service has very wide application, which can make the mobile user more convenient when going out and help us to reach the destination in the most economic way; the user can be rescued more quickly in case of emergency; but also help us to get the position of the relatives, etc. More and more mobile location services require higher location success rates and location accuracy and shorter response times. With the help of the high-speed download capability of the 3G network, the SUPL (secure user plane) based a-GPS (assisted global positioning system) technology proposed by OMA (developed mobile alliance) will become the mainstream direction of mobile positioning development.
The basic principle of SUPL-based AGPS positioning is to use external resources (e.g. an assistance server and a GPS reference network) to transfer GPS assistance data to a GPS receiver on the mobile terminal via a wireless link to assist the GPS receiver in performing GPS positioning. The advantage of the AGPS solution is mainly in its positioning accuracy. In open areas such as outdoors and the like, the accuracy can reach about 10 meters under the normal GPS working environment, and the method can be called as a positioning technology with the highest positioning accuracy at present. Another advantage of this technique is: the time to first acquire a GPS signal typically only needs a few seconds. Although the GPS receiver reduces the requirement for the satellite signal reception quality due to the navigation messages provided by the network, the problem of positioning in the city still cannot be solved satisfactorily, particularly in the indoor environment.
In recent years, Wifi networks are gradually built, and especially in places with high buildings standing and dense population in large cities, Wifi hotspots (i.e., APs, wireless routers) are increasing. The hotspot will always transmit signals to the surroundings, as long as it is powered on, regardless of its presence or absence of encryption. The signal contains the unique global ID of the hotspot, which can be used to locate the location as long as the presence of the hotspot signal is sensed. The premise of Wifi positioning is that a mobile terminal with a Wifi function must be within a coverage range of a Wifi network, that is, a wireless signal of a surrounding Wifi wireless network access point can be searched. Just this prerequisite has made the defect of WIFI location, that is to say can not carry out WIFI location in the place that does not have WIFI wireless network to cover. At present, the deployment of the WIFI wireless network is limited to a dense place in a large city, and the WIFI positioning is ineffective compared with a remote area which does not cover the WIFI wireless network.
