Abstract

本发明提出一种分配虚拟局域网(VLAN)资源的方法和基于以太网的光纤通道传输(FCF)交换机,其中方法包括:FCF交换机向相邻设备发送基于以太网的光纤通道初始化协议(FIP)报文,所述FIP报文携带相邻设备的虚拟存储局域网(VSAN)标识(ID)与VLAN ID和映射媒体访问控制(MAC)地址的对应关系,将相邻设备所属的多个VSAN映射到同一个VLAN。本发明能够节约VLAN资源。

分配虚拟局域网资源的方法和交换机
技术领域
本发明涉及FCoE技术领域,特别涉及一种分配VLAN资源的方法和FCF交换机。
背景技术
光纤通道(FC,Fibre Channel)协议是应用在存储局域网(SAN,Storage AreaNetwork)中的高性能传输协议,在FC网络中,使用虚拟结构(Virtual Fabric)技术可以将整个网络划分成多个虚拟局域网(VSAN,Virtual Storage AreaNetwork),不同的VSAN在逻辑上彼此隔离,相互之间不能进行数据访问;由于不同VSAN之间彼此隔离,故不同VSAN中设备的FC-ID地址可以重叠。
基于以太网的FC(FCoE,Fibre Channel over Ethernet)是通过Ethernet网络承载FC协议的技术,支持FCoE协议的交换机称为FCoE传输(FCF,FCoEForwarders)交换机,支持FCoE协议的通信实体设备称为以太节点(ENode),ENode包括服务器和磁盘阵列等。
参见图1,图1为现有技术中FCoE网络的结构示意图。在图1中,整个网络被划分成2个VSAN,即VSAN 1和VSAN 2,一个VSAN内的ENode只能访问位于同一VSAN中的其它ENode。FCF交换机1和FCF交换机2分别有两个F端口,两个F端口的Access VSAN ID分别配置为VSAN1、VSAN2;E端口的配置Trunk VSAN1和VSAN2。
当FCF交换机收到ENode发送的FC报文后,为了在Ethernet网进行传输,需要将FC报文封装成Ethernet报文,不同VSAN内的FC报文可能在同一条Ethernet链路上进行传输。在FC协议层面上,使用VSAN ID来区分不同VSAN内的FC报文;为了避免报文地址冲突和安全性问题,在Ethernet协议层面上,也需要对不同VSAN的FC报文进行区分。
为了实现上述目的,在目前的FCoE协议中,将FC协议中的VSAN唯一映射到Ethernet不同的VLAN中,使VSAN和VLAN形成一对一的映射关系,从而通过不同VLAN对Ethernet报文的隔离达到在Ethernet网络中对不同VSAN的FC报文隔离的目的。
然而,由于VSAN和VLAN存在一对一的映射关系,这就要求为VSAN保留专门的VLAN,造成对VLAN资源的浪费。
发明内容
本发明提出一种分配VLAN资源方法,能够节约FCoE系统中的VLAN资源。
本发明还一种FCF交换机,能够节约FCoE系统中的VLAN资源。
本发明的技术方案是这样实现的:
一种分配VLAN资源的方法,包括:
FCF交换机向相邻设备发送FIP报文,所述FIP报文携带相邻设备的VSANID与VLAN ID和映射MAC地址的对应关系,将相邻设备所属的多个VSAN映射到同一个VLAN。
一种FCF交换机,包括:
对应关系生成模块,用于生成相邻设备的VSAN ID与VLAN ID和映射MAC地址的对应关系;
FIP报文发送模块,用于向相邻设备发送携带所述对应关系的FIP报文,将相邻设备所属的多个VSAN映射到同一个VLAN。
综上可见,本发明提出的分配VLAN资源的方法和FCF交换机,在进行FCoE初始化协议(FIP,FCoE Initialization Protocol)交互的过程中,在FIP报文中携带相邻设备的VSAN ID与VLAN ID和映射MAC地址的对应关系,从而将相邻设备所属的多个VSAN映射到同一个VLAN,为多个VSAN分配同一个VLAN,节约了VLAN资源。

具体实施方式
本发明提出一种分配VLAN资源的方法,该方法的主要思想是:在FIP交互的过程中,将多个VSAN映射到同一个VLAN,使不同VSAN内的报文可以在同一个VLAN内传播;由于不同VSAN中设备的FC-ID可能重叠,为了不同保证FC-ID映射出的同一个VLAN中的MAC地址不会重叠,本发明设置VSAN ID与VLAN ID和映射MAC地址(以下将“映射MAC地址”具体为“FCoE-VSAN-MAPPING MAC地址”进行举例)的对应关系。后续在将FC报文封装成Ethernet报文时,根据该FC报文中包含的VSAN ID查找对应的VLAN ID和FCoE-VSAN-MAPPING MAC地址;将FC报文的FC-ID作为MAC地址的低24位,将查找到的FCoE-VSAN-MAPPING MAC地址作为MAC地址的高24位,从而映射出48位的MAC地址。这样,即使不同VSAN中存在相同的FC-ID的设备,由于不同VSAN所对应的FCoE-VSAN-MAPPING MAC地址不同,这些VSAN中设备的FC-ID映射出的MAC地址也能够保证不同,从而避免了同一VLAN中地址重叠的问题。
以下参照附图,对本发明具体实施方式做详细介绍。
参见图2,图2为本发明实施例分配VLAN资源的方法流程图,该方法包括:在FCF交换机与ENode、或者FCF交换机与FCF交换机进行FIP交互的过程中,将VSAN ID与VLAN ID和FCoE-VSAN-MAPPING MAC地址的对应关系携带在FIP报文中,将多个VSAN映射到同一个VLAN。具体过程可以为:
步骤201:ENode或FCF交换机向相邻的FCF交换机发送FIP发现请求(FIP Discovery Solicitation)报文;
步骤202:相邻的FCF交换机收到FIP Discovery Solicitation报文后,向该ENode或FCF交换机反馈FIP发现广播(FIP Discovery Advertisement)报文,在FIP Discovery Advertisement报文中携带VSAN ID与VLAN ID和FCoE-VSAN-MAPPING MAC地址的对应关系。
为了携带VSAN ID与VLAN ID和FCoE-VSAN-MAPPING MAC地址的对应关系,本发明实施例可以在FIP报文中增加FCoE-VSAN-MAPPING描述符,参见图3,图3为本发明实施例FCoE-VSAN-MAPPING描述符的结构示意图。在图3所示的描述符中,
Type用于表示该描述符的类型,取值为0fH;
Length用于表示该描述符的长度;
Map Number用于表示该描述符所包含的对应关系的个数;
图3所示的描述符中包含了三组VSAN ID与VLAN ID和FCoE-VSAN-MAPPING MAC地址的对应关系,其中FCoE-VSAN-MAPPINGMAC地址的长度为24位。
当然,本发明也可以采用其它形式的描述符,用于携带VSAN ID与VLAN ID和FCoE-VSAN-MAPPING MAC地址的对应关系,本发明对此不做限制。
上述实施例中,VSAN ID与VLAN ID和FCoE-VSAN-MAPPING MAC地址的对应关系是携带于FIP Discovery Advertisement报文中进行发送的,本发明也可以将该对应关系携带于其他的FIP报文中进行发送。
后续相邻设备将FC报文封装成Ethernet报文时,可以根据该对应关系,将FC报文中的FC-ID映射成对应的MAC地址,采用该MAC地址作为Ethernet报文的地址。
具体的映射方式可以为:根据FC报文包含的VSAN ID查找上述对应关系,获取VSAN ID对应的FCoE-VSAN-MAPPING MAC地址,将FC-ID作为MAC地址的低24位,将FCoE-VSAN-MAPPING MAC地址作为MAC地址的高24位,从而得到映射出的MAC地址。
进一步地,该相邻设备可以根据该FC报文包含的VSAN ID查找所述对应关系,获取VSAN ID对应的VLAN ID,将该VLAN ID添加到Ethernet报文,就可以对Ethernet报文进行转发。
本发明还提出一种FCF交换机,参见图4,图4为本发明实施例FCF交换机的结构示意图,该FCF交换机包括:
对应关系生成模块401,用于生成相邻设备的VSAN ID与VLAN ID和映射MAC地址的对应关系;
FIP报文发送模块402,用于向相邻设备发送携带所述对应关系的FIP报文,将相邻设备所属的多个VSAN映射到同一个VLAN。
上述FIP报文发送模块402,具体可以用于向相邻设备发送携带预先设定的描述符的FIP报文,所述描述符包含所述对应关系。
上述FIP报文发送模块发送的FIP报文可以为FIP发现广播报文。
综上可见,本发明提出的分配VLAN资源的方法和FCF交换机,在进行FIP交互的过程中,在FIP报文中携带相邻设备的VSAN ID与VLAN ID和FCoE-VSAN-MAPPING MAC地址的对应关系,从而将相邻设备所属的多个VSAN映射到同一个VLAN,为多个VSAN分配同一个VLAN,节约了VLAN资源。同时,由于采用VLAN和FCoE-VSAN-MAPPING MAC地址的组合划分VSAN,避免了同一VLAN中MAC地址重叠的问题。
以上所述仅为本发明的较佳实施例而已,并不用以限制本发明,凡在本发明的精神和原则之内,所做的任何修改、等同替换、改进等,均应包含在本发明保护的范围之内。

Claims (10)

1.一种分配虚拟局域网VLAN资源的方法,其特征在于,所述方法包括:
基于以太网的光纤通道传输FCF交换机向相邻设备发送基于以太网的光纤通道初始化协议FIP报文,所述FIP报文携带相邻设备的虚拟存储局域网VSAN标识ID与VLAN ID和映射媒体访问控制MAC地址的对应关系,将相邻设备所属的多个VSAN映射到同一个VLAN。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述FIP报文中携带对应关系的方式为:
在FIP报文中增加预先设定的描述符,该描述符包含所述VSAN ID与VLAN ID和映射MAC地址的对应关系。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的方法,其特征在于,所述FIP报文为FIP发现广播报文。
4.根据权利要求1或2所述的方法,其特征在于,所述发送之前进一步包括:
所述FCF交换机接收来自所述相邻设备的FIP发现请求报文。
5.根据权利要求1或2所述的方法,其特征在于,所述方法进一步包括:
所述相邻设备将接收的FC报文封装成以太报文时,根据所述对应关系,将所述FC报文的FC-ID映射为MAC地址,采用所述MAC地址作为所述以太报文的地址。
6.根据权利要求5所述的方法,其特征在于,所述将FC报文的FC-ID映射为MAC地址的方式为:
根据所述FC报文包含的VSAN ID查找所述对应关系,获取所述VSAN ID对应的映射MAC地址,将所述FC报文的FC-ID作为MAC地址的低24位,将所述映射MAC地址作为MAC地址的高24位,形成MAC地址。
7.根据权利要求5所述的方法,其特征在于,所述相邻设备将接收的FC报文封装成以太报文之后,进一步包括:
根据所述FC报文包含的VSAN ID查找所述对应关系,获取所述VSAN ID对应的VLAN ID,将该VLAN ID添加到所述以太报文。
8.一种FCF交换机,其特征在于,所述FCF交换机包括:
对应关系生成模块,用于生成相邻设备的VSAN ID与VLAN ID和映射MAC地址的对应关系;
FIP报文发送模块,用于向相邻设备发送携带所述对应关系的FIP报文,将相邻设备所属的多个VSAN映射到同一个VLAN。
9.根据权利要求8所述的FCF交换机,其特征在于,所述FIP报文发送模块,用于向相邻设备发送携带预先设定的描述符的FIP报文,所述描述符包含所述对应关系。
10.根据权利要求8或9所述的FCF交换机,其特征在于,所述FIP报文发送模块发送的FIP报文为FIP发现广播报文。
