技术领域
本发明主要涉及燃料系统部件及其子部件(sub-component),更尤其涉及有利于将燃料系统部件附连至燃料箱的子部件。
本文说明书及权利要求中所用术语“燃油系统部件”,被用来表示通常被连接到燃料箱内的各种装置/配件中的任意一个,如不同类型的阀(通风阀、翻转阀(roll-over valve)、过量灌装中断阀等)、集液器、计量器、过滤器等。
背景技术
各种阀及各种其他装置通常被装配到车辆的燃料箱内。通过以下方式将燃料配件连接到燃料箱内是常见的做法,即通过形成在尺寸上可以充裕容纳阀外壳的孔,且通过借助各种方式(焊接、热焊接、不同的紧固件等)固定附连该阀。
一种做法是在燃料箱中尽可能少地(理想地只有一个)形成开口,并且因此通风系统及其相关阀和连接被尽可能远地重新部署在燃料箱内。
车辆燃料箱所涉及另一个重要的考虑因素是与环境有关的组织和官方对从油箱燃料及其相关配件的燃料渗透率最小化的日益增加的要求。此要求的成果是目前要求新的连接装置确保燃料配件与燃料箱间基本无渗透的连接。
因此,制造多层塑性燃料箱将成为标准做法,所述燃料箱对燃料烃具有非常低的渗透率,并且其中阀借助适合的密封布置被装配到这样的燃料箱上或被热焊接到燃料箱的内壁表面上。
关于阀与车辆燃料箱连接的另一问题是阀的有效工作高度,也就是阀关闭的高度(有时也被称为切断或关高度)和阀重新打开的高度。控制工作高度的一个考虑是所占空间,这对于车辆意义尤其重大。因此,需要“死区”(即“最大燃料高度”与燃料箱顶壁之间的空间)被减到最小,并且必须注意不要增大死区。
几个专利与提供将阀附连至燃料箱的防燃料渗透附连相关。例如,美国专利第5,404,907号、第6,035,883号及第6,289,915号公开了不同的可焊接组件,其包括延伸通过形成在燃料箱内的开口的阀体以及与阀体固定或结合在一起的可焊接连接件部分,该可焊接连接件部分用于焊接至聚合物燃料箱外表面上。
用于将阀附连到燃料箱内的另一个方法是通过热加工成型燃料箱的两个配合的半部并且按压阀,而且在成型后立即将任意其他燃料配件压向燃料壁(此时仍有部分处于熔融态)。而后,燃料箱的两个半部便相互附连和焊接在一起。
WO专利申请第W00107806A1号中公开的不同方案也涉及最小化死区,其中公开了包括被完全接收到液体燃料箱内的外壳的燃料阀,其中根据一个应用,该阀的外壳被形成在其最上面部分处,且用于固定接收在相应插孔(receptacle)内的芯柱构件(stem member)被形成在燃料箱的顶壁处。根据第二个应用,该阀的外壳被形成在其顶部处,且适于与相应的第二连接构件接合的第一连接构件与燃料箱的顶壁是一体的,如卡扣型连接。
用于将燃料配件附连到燃料箱的另一方法被公开在序列号US20010013516A1为美国专利申请中,其涉及被称为“ship in the bottle”技术,其中在燃料箱的吹塑过程中,一个或多于一个阀以及其他燃料配件在被支撑装置(承载构件)所支撑,借此当燃料箱被形成时,它便通过热焊接与支撑装置结合在一起。
美国专利第7,204,520号涉及用于将由可熔塑性材料制成的部件,尤其是燃料管道或燃料管线的输送管连接到车辆燃料箱的装置。该装置包括加热构件,该加热构件包括被用来提供电能的末端。为了实现它,一个部件包括用于固定工具的固定体,并且加热构件的两个末端延伸到所述固定体上,在所述固定体上它们能够将接触构件接合到固定工具上。
发明内容
根据本发明的第一方面,提供有用于附连到塑性材料燃料箱内壁部分处的位置的燃料系统部件,该燃料系统部件包括外壳及预先装配到该外壳的平面可焊接承载构件,该平面可焊接承载构件包括用于将燃料系统部件附连到燃料箱内壁部分的熔焊构件。
当塑性部件(即这种情况下燃料箱的内壁部分、平面可焊接承载构件的一部分或燃料系统部件的外壳,每个都由适合的塑性材料(如热塑性)制成)彼此附连且相邻表面中至少一个的温度上升到材料的熔点以上时,就会发生焊接。在其冷却以后,部件保持被焊接至彼此。
所述外壳可以具有顶表面,并且可以通过其顶表面将可焊接承载构件预先装配到外壳。该顶表面可以适于被预先装配有平面可焊接承载构件。该顶表面可以包括具有足够高度的塑性材料,以允许通过该塑性材料的熔化将燃料系统部件附连到燃料箱,而不损坏该燃料系统部件。该外壳的顶表面可以被形成为具有与目标位置处的壁部分相符合的形状,以便与其平齐接合。
该外壳还可以包括从其顶表面横向延伸出来的侧壁,该侧壁可以是具有与燃料箱内部流体连通的外表面的单层壁,而且可以是具有与燃料系统部件的至少一个功能部件流体连通的内表面的单层壁。
因此将被领会的是,包括具有适于预先装配包括熔焊构件的平面可焊接承载构件的顶表面的外壳的燃料系统部件的优点之一可以是,这样的燃料系统部件可以包括单层壁,借此与如果使用了包含被设置为与燃料系统部件外壳的壁相邻的壁(即第二壁)的承载构件相比,其需要更少的材料和空间。
该燃料系统部件还可以包括与其顶表面相邻的输出喷嘴。该平面可焊接承载构件可以被预先装配到所述外壳的顶表面。该平面可焊接承载构件可以包括相反的上和下表面。在这样的情况下,平面可焊接承载构件的下表面可以适于被预先装配到燃料系统部件外壳的顶表面。平面可焊接承载构件的下表面可以通过与机械附连机构一起形成而适于被预先装配到外壳的顶表面。这样的机械附连机构可以从包括卡扣锁构件、螺纹构件和卡销构件组成的群组中选择。在这种情况下,燃料系统部件的顶表面可以适于通过与机械附连机构一起形成而被预先装配到所述平面可焊接承载构件的下表面,所述机械附连机构的类型符合平面可焊接承载构件的选定机械附连机构的类型。可替代地或另外地,外壳的顶表面和平面可焊接承载构件中的至少一个可以适于通过施加至其的粘合剂被装配到另一个上。该平面可焊接承载构件可以是圆盘状构件。该可焊接承载构件可以被安置在燃料系统部件的外壳与燃料箱的壁位置之间,借此熔焊构件的加热会导致承载构件的熔化从而实现其两面处的焊接并形成附连。
熔焊构件的特征直径可以小于外壳顶表面的特征直径。为了说明书和权利要求的目的,特征直径被定义为虚构内切圆的最大直径。熔焊构件可以包括细长导电部分。该细长导电部分可包括远离熔焊构件中心部分的至少第一部分,以及被设置在该至少第一远端部分与中心部分中间的至少第二部分。该细长导电部分可以包括多个大C形子部分(sub-portion),该大C形子部分由多个小C形子部分串联连接。熔焊构件还可以包括第一和第二导电末端,当熔焊构件已经被焊接到另一个物体时,第一和第二导电末端适于通过对其施加拉力而得以从熔焊构件分开。熔焊构件可以是盘绕的细丝或波浪形的细丝。熔焊构件可以呈片状材料(a sheet of material)形式。熔焊构件可以被装配有能够与施加器(applicator)相接合的电插座(electric socket)。
如将被领会的,使用平面可焊接承载构件的优点之一可以是,较之应用非平面可焊接承载构件的情况所需材料明显减少。例如,包括第一平面末端及从其中横向延伸的环形壁并且适于在其中接收将被承载物体的承载构件,相比于只包括一个平面末端的承载构件在制造过程可能需要更多材料。使用平面可焊接承载构件的另一个可能的优点是,其可以被批量生产且被装配到不同燃料系统部件上,这与适于具有附连至其的一体熔焊构件的不同燃料系统部件的定制生产相比降低了成本。
燃料系统部件还可以包括至少一个额外的平面可焊接承载构件,该构件具有预先装配至其的熔焊构件。额外的焊接构件可以被预先装配到燃料系统部件的顶表面。
根据本发明的另一方面,提供有包括相反的上和下表面的平面可焊接承载构件,以及附连至其的熔焊构件。平面可焊接承载构件可以具有关于其他方面所描述的任意特征。
根据本发明的另一方面,提供用于附连到塑性材料燃料箱内壁部分处的位置的燃料系统部件,该燃料系统部件预先装配有至少两个熔焊构件。
所述至少两个焊接构件可以分别被附连到不同的平面可焊接承载构件上,并且所述将至少两个熔焊构件预先装配到燃料系统部件上可以通过平面可焊接承载构件实现。
平面可焊接承载构件或熔焊构件中的每一个都可以具有关于其他方面所描述的任意特征。
下列特征在可能的地方能够应用于本发明上述任意方面:
A)熔焊构件是按盘绕或波浪图形形成的可能被嵌入相应形状沟槽中的细丝。然而,该熔焊构件也可以是呈现不同形状的片状形式的,例如,盘状构件、扁平环构件等。
B)熔焊构件被施加于其上的电流激活,该电流流经从该熔焊构件延伸出的导线。通常所述导线可以很容易地从该熔焊构件分开。
C)熔焊构件被施加至其的电流通过感应激活。
D)燃料系统部件中的一个以及燃料箱处的位置可以被装配有可磁化部件,借此,燃料系统部件在熔焊过程中被磁力吸引到燃料箱处的位置。感应电流也可以被用来产生磁场,该磁场用于将燃料系统部件吸引并接合到壁位置,且用于熔焊燃料系统部件。
E)焊接构件由电流激活,该电流通过能够与燃料系统部件施加器的相应电流插座相接合的导电构件被应用于熔焊构件。
F)燃料系统部件被引至燃料箱的位置并可在熔焊过程中被燃料系统部件施加器固定,该施加器根据一个示例是操作器形式的,该操作器被配置为用于通过形成在燃料箱内的开口引入燃料箱内部空间的机械臂。根据其他示例,该操作器呈适合于支撑该燃料系统部件的装置形式,并且借助适当的电力供应装置使其靠着壁位置就位,且该装置的另一部分适于紧贴燃料箱的相对壁部分。可选地,该操作器包括用于连接至燃料系统部件的相应插座的电插座,以借此施加电流。
G)所述燃料系统部件可以是各种被装配在燃料箱中的此类构件中的任意一个或多于一个构件,例如,不同类型的阀(通风阀、翻转阀、过量灌装中断阀等)、集液器、计量器、过滤器。
H)燃料系统部件外壳的至少顶部和燃料箱的壁位置部位是由适当的塑性材料(例如,聚乙烯-PE)制成的,该材料应是可热焊接的,以借此使其合乎熔焊要求。

具体实施方式
首先关注图1A,该附图显示了燃料箱(非完整可见)的顶壁部分10,该燃料箱由热塑性材料制成并且具有燃料系统部件,也就是一般被标明为20的翻转阀20在被标明为22的箱壁位置处与其相连。
在下文中的附图与说明中,将涉及呈现为阀形式的燃料系统部件,应注意到的是,术语“燃料系统部件”应被按其最广泛意思理解,这指的是其包括不同类型的阀、集液器、计量器、过滤器及其它部件等。
在本文的示例中,燃料系统部件20是翻转阀,它包括由热塑性材料制成的外壳24以及保持阀部件位置处于正确位置的掀扣型闭合构件28。
图1A中还应注意的是,不需要用于将阀连接到燃料箱壁部分10的连接装置,借此死区(也就是“最大燃料高度”与燃料箱顶壁间的空间)被维持在最小,且进一步借此输出喷嘴30向右延伸到与燃料箱顶壁10的下表面32相邻的下方。在本示例中输出喷嘴30具有约为8mm的最大半径R,并且被以约为2mm的最小距离的D从顶壁10的下表面32隔开。输出喷嘴30被设计为装配有壁厚为1mm的管子(未显示),因此当该管被装配到输出喷嘴30上时,可以在顶壁10的下表面32与该管之间留出一条1mm的安全间隙。将被领会的是,该安全距离可以稍有改变,而该死区可以被减小到几毫米,这需要通过使输出喷嘴30与外壳24接合的部分31能够与壁部分相邻,即被定位于相距小于1厘米。还应注意的是,在燃料箱箱壁上未设有孔而且燃料蒸汽因此被保持在最小。
参考图1B,如已经提及的,阀20通过熔焊附连到燃料箱的顶壁10,盘绕的焊接构件36有利于该熔焊,该焊接构件在某些特定显示的示例中被相应的盘绕路径38所容纳,该盘绕路径38由形成在阀20的顶接合表面40内的凹槽38组成。凹槽38的尺寸足以允许焊接构件36被安置在其内。顶表面40包括塑性材料41,其高度H足以允许燃料系统部件通过塑性材料41的熔化被附连到燃料箱上,这不会损坏燃料系统部件20。高度H的大小约为1.5mm。这样,通过将其安置到凹槽38中,熔焊构件36得以被预先装配到外壳24的顶表面40。
应被理解的是,塑性材料用于熔焊的1.5mm的高度可以不完全从顶表面40获得,也可以可替换地部分或完全地从燃料箱壁部分10的下表面获得,这样的设计是十分厚的,以便不会由于焊接而受到损坏。
应注意的是,上接合表面40具有与壁位置的轮廓符合的轮廓,在本案中是平的,以确保充分的接触面。
在图1B和2A中还应注意的是,盘绕的熔焊构件36具有两个导电腿构件42A和42B,分别用于向盘绕的细丝提供电流。阀20的外壳24在其上部装配有凹槽44A和44B,导电腿通过所述凹槽伸出,借此导电腿部分可以在之后被导线或其他导电装置接合,这将在下文加以讨论。
图3A中显示了一般被标明为50的阀,其中熔焊构件52呈波浪形细丝的形式,波浪形细丝可以被相应的凹槽54接收到其内,该凹槽被构成在阀外壳56的顶壁部分上,且导电腿部分58A和58B延伸通过沿着外壳56的一部分形成的相应凹槽60A和60B,并且分别延伸至电插座62A和62B,以便与电流施加器(current applicator)接合,这将在下文参照图6A加以解释。
图3B涉及与上文关于图3A所公开的阀类似的阀50’,其区别在于,熔焊构件63呈开口的滑冰场状片状(rink-like sheet)形式并且由导电材料制成,其沿外壳的铸造外形(foundries)延伸并且可以经由突出通过外壳的外围部分65的腿64与电流源相接合。然而应领会的是,熔焊构件的呈片状(sheet)形式的其他形状也是可能的。
例如图3C显示了用于熔焊构件300A的另一个呈片状形式的形状,其被设置在接合面302上,该接合面302通过粘合剂被固定至另一个一般被标明为306的翻转阀的顶部304。熔焊构件300A包括第一导电末端308,第二导电末端310以及在二者之间延伸的细长导电部分312。第一和第二导电末端(308,310)都呈与平行于接合面40延伸的薄板形式。第一和第二导电末端(308,310)与细长导电部分312之间的连接明显相对弱,下文将解释其目的。细长导电部分312由多个大C形子部分(314A,314B,314C,314D,314E)和两个线性部分(318A和318B)组成,所述大C形子部分由多个小C形子部分(316A,316B,316C,316D)串联连接,而所述线性部分分别在大C形子部分314A的端点与第一导电末端308之间以及大C形子部分314E的端点与第二导电末端310之间延伸。
应被领会的是,图3C中焊接构件的形状可以以任意已知方式被固定到燃料系统部件上,例如,通过被装配到在燃料系统部件顶表面中形成的凹槽。此外,熔焊构件也可以是非片状形式的。熔焊构件300A可以被用在其他类型的燃料配件上,例如如图3D中所见,在一般被标明为320的燃料限制排放阀上具有其被标明为300A的熔焊构件。
暂时将注意力转到图3E,可以看到,翻转阀306和燃料限制排放阀320可以被预先装配有熔焊构件300A并且在其插入燃料箱内之前通过管322按流体接触方式相互连接。这样,图3E中所示的这两个构件(306、320)便可以同时被插入燃料箱内并与之焊接。
还应注意的是,外壳(图1和图2A中为24,而图3中为56)装配有环形突出肩70,其目的在下文中参照图6A和6B将变得十分明显。
在图2B的图解说明中可以看到阀20是如何通过66处的熔焊而被焊接至燃料箱顶壁10的下表面32的壁位置22处的。熔焊得以实施是通过施加电流穿过熔焊构件(也就是金属线圈36),从而借此将热塑性材料加热到超过其熔点的温度,同时保持阀20紧贴着表面32并且使熔化材料能够冷却,由此实现焊接。
不同参数控制着所述熔焊过程,例如熔焊构件细丝的厚度和强度、线圈或波浪形细线的样式和强度、各构件内的容纳凹槽的深度、塑性材料的类型、可焊接部分的尺寸以及被施加通过熔焊构件的电流的大小。此外,取决于燃料系统部件的形状和尺寸,可以应用一个或多于一个熔焊焦点(welding focuse),即在承载构件较大的情况下可以执行多个焊接位置。现在进一步将注意力放到图4,其中显示了根据另一个示例的燃料阀76的示例,该燃料阀在外壳78的顶部处以盘绕熔焊构件80而被装配,而且在盘绕熔焊构件80下方提供有金属构件82(本示例中为圆盘),该构件被嵌入到外壳78的顶部分内。此布置是这样的,即在熔焊过程中流向熔焊构件80的电流被经由感应线圈构件86的感应激发,也产生作用在圆盘82上的磁力,从而将整个外壳78吸引到与燃料箱顶壁部分92的下表面90的紧密接合中来。
尽管这样对于本说明书中所描述的其他示例而言是真实的,但燃料系统部件在图4中的内部视图允许看清外壳(本示例中被标明为78)如何在其顶表面81处以熔焊构件80被预先装配,以及如何只包括从其顶表面81延伸的单个侧壁83。侧壁83为单层壁,其具有与燃料箱流体;连通的外表面85以及与燃料系统部件的内部空间96流体连通的内表面87。内部空间96被用来便于气体向输出喷嘴89的输送并且因此成为燃料系统部件的功能部件的示例。
根据对此示例(未显示)的修改,圆盘82未被嵌入到燃料系统部件的外壳78内,反而是被装配到阀的空间96内,而且可以在熔焊过程完成后被移除。
图5A和5B中所示的示例与之前燃料系统部件一般配置中的示例不同,也就是说阀100,而且燃料箱的顶壁部分102被形成为具有突出阀接收结构104,该突出阀接收结构104被装配用于贴切地接收阀100的外壳顶部,借此使其在焊接过程中不再需要支撑该阀。
在此示例中,熔焊构件是盘绕的细丝106,所述细丝与阀100的外壳顶部108同轴延伸。可选地,该顶部108被形成为具有用于接收熔焊构件106的相应盘绕路径(未显示)。
图5A和5B中所公开的布置确保了燃料箱顶壁102的下表面110与阀100内最大燃料高度之间的死区最小。
图6A显示了使用操纵器148将被标明为140的燃料系统部件熔焊至燃料箱顶壁部分144的下表面142的过程。
燃料系统部件140对应于图1B和图2A的阀20,并且包括被形成为具有环形肩150和盘绕路径154的外壳148,该盘绕路径154接收盘绕焊接构件156,其导电腿158A和158B穿过形成在外壳148顶部处的凹槽160A和160B横向突出。
在熔焊过程中,阀140被安置在操纵器148的燃料系统部件施加器168的插孔166内。
在操作中,操纵器臂被引导穿过形成在燃料箱中的开口(通常是形成在燃料箱中的燃料泵孔或任何其它适当的此类开口),该燃料箱具有被接收到插孔166内的阀140,该阀具有贴靠(bearing agaist)施加器顶表面170的环形肩150,同时导电腿部分158A和158B接合操纵器148的电插座172A和172B,电插座172A和172B进而由适当的导线176A和176B分别连接到电源180。应被领会的是,导线176A和176B也可以与操纵器148结合在一起,而且也可以处于其内部。
在将阀外壳148的顶表面施加到燃料箱顶壁144的下表面142之后,电流分别通过插座172A和172B被施加给熔焊构件156的导电腿158A和158B,借此线圈上会产生热,直到塑性材料熔化。而后,电流停止以使熔化的塑性材料得以冷却,借此实现熔焊。
在图6B所示的示例中,操纵器186与图6A中所见操纵器类似,其间的区别在于其不被用来施加电流,而是被用来将阀188安置在燃料箱顶壁190上适当的壁位置上并且在熔焊过程中施加适度的压力。然而,在此特定的示例中,熔焊构件194由通经感应而被施加于其上的电流加热,该感应由外部感应线圈198施加。
在图6A和6B的两个示例中,操纵器148和186在熔焊区域冷却之后被分别移除。
现在转到图6C,途中显示了一般被标明为200的燃料阀,该燃料阀装配有如根据任意其他示例所公开的熔焊构件202。为了将阀200正确地安置在焊接位置上并且确保与燃料箱内壁表面204的适当表面接触,提供有活塞组件210,其中其一端212贴靠燃料箱底壁214而其上方的可回收构件216装配有阀插孔218以及适当的电流传导装置(未显示)。此布置是这样的,即上方部件216由螺旋弹簧220弹簧偏置,从而向阀200施加轴向力,这样在焊接过程中它适当地接合燃料箱内壁表面204。该活塞装置可以通过不同方式运行如,例如,电磁、液压、气动等。
在图6D所示的示例中,具有相关熔焊构件222的阀220被接收到可延伸“剪刀型”机构228的插孔224内,其中一个腿部分具有支撑构件230,该构件贴靠燃料箱底壁部分232并且借此该机械装置的腿部分的收起使插孔224的垂直位移能够实现,以便定位阀220使其平齐地紧贴燃料箱的内壁表面236,同时施加适当的力,借此将电流施加给熔焊构件使熔焊能够实现,如上文所讨论的。
现在进一步参照图7。为了确保在焊接过程中燃料系统部件(例如阀240)与燃料箱相应的壁部分242适当且紧密地接合,可以提供有(例如应变计或微动开关形式的)压力指示器246,该指示器在本示例中被安装在操作臂250的末端。然而,这样的压力指示装置或传感器可以被安装在其其他位置处。
图8的图解说明例示了两个燃料配件(即阀260A和260B)如何被同步装配到燃料箱内壁表面264。此布置是这样的,即根据相应阀260A和260B焊接位置定位两个感应线圈构件266A和266B,而且还提供有控制器C,该控制器C用于将电流同步地施加给感应线圈构件266A和266B以及阀260A和260B。应领会的是,此布置也适合于大型燃料系统部件(而不是单独的阀),例如在承载构件附连至燃料箱内壁相连的情况下,各自的燃料配件进而附连至所述承载构件。
根据另一种选择,熔焊构件也可以被接收在平面可焊接承载构件内或或附连至该可焊接承载构件。这样的平面可焊接承载构件可以被安置在燃料系统部件的外壳与燃料箱的壁位置之间,并且被焊接到燃料箱的壁位置上。如将被理解的,在其被置于燃料箱的壁位置前该平面可焊接承载构件可以被预先装配在燃料系统部件上。
在图9A-9J中,显示有熔焊构件300A,参照图3C-3E对其进行了更为详尽的描述,其被附连至一般被标明为400的平面可焊接承载构件的一个示例。
平面可焊接承载构件400具有平面形状并且包括上表面402,相对的下表面404,以及横向机座突起405。构件400被形成为具有多个凹槽和孔408,以便熔焊构件附连至其,而且中央环形孔具有向内倾斜的边缘407。在此示例中,承载构件400被形成为具有四个卡扣锁构件(snap-lockmembers)410,该卡扣锁构件410从下表面402沿与其垂直的方向延伸,以便附连至燃料系统部件424(例如见图10A和图10B)。
多个凹槽包括深度D1大约为0.8mm的弯槽412(图9A、9C和9E;为了便于例示在图9F和9G中未显示),该深度与熔焊构件300A的形状相匹配,以便熔焊构件能够放置入其中,而且还包括用于分隔熔焊构件300A相邻部分的直槽414。孔408可以具有贯穿地插入其中的紧固构件(未显示),以保持熔焊构件300A各部分处于正确位置。
每个卡扣锁构件410都被形成为具有弹性可弯曲线性部分416,该弹性可弯曲线性部分416远端处具有向外倾斜的表面418,而且具有被形成在倾斜外表面418和线性部分416之间的阶梯422。
横向机座突起405包括大小与两个线性部分(318A、318B)相符合的定位构件423,以便于熔焊构件300A以稳定的方式就位在横向机座突起405上。
该示例平面构件400的高度H2约为3.8mm(不包括卡扣锁构件)而且最大直径D2约为33.6mm。
转到图10A和10B,平面承载构件400以及与附连至其的熔焊构件300A,如图所示被装配到包括顶表面432的阀430。该阀的顶表面通过被形成为具有适于卡扣接合平面承载构件400的卡扣锁构件410的向外突起(不可见),以适于预先装配有熔焊构件300A。一旦平面承载构件400被预先装配到阀430,他们就被插入到燃料箱(不可见)内并焊接至其,在此之后附连至第一和第二导电末端(308、310)的绳索(cord)(不可见)被从燃料箱拉出,并借助定位构件423卡扣住末端(308、310)。可以被注意到的是,阀430的顶表面432的直径仅比平面承载构件400的直径略大。
相反,转到图11A和11B,平面承载构件400以及附连至其的熔焊构件300A,如图所示被装配到具有顶表面442的阀440,该阀440的直径远大于平面承载构件400的直径。
参照图12,燃料系统部件450如图所示被预先装配有两个平面承载构件400,其中每一个承载构件400都具有附连至其的熔焊构件300A。尽管所述类型的熔焊构件适于在燃料系统部件和燃料箱之间建立非常牢固的结合,但使用将多于一个熔焊构件附连至燃料系统部件的选择可以被应用在尤其需要牢固结合的地方(例如,对于阀连接强度的要求可以在一个区域内为400N而在另一个区域内为1000N)。
将注意力转到图13,图中显示了一般被标明为460的燃料系统部件以及适于被预先附连至燃料系统部件的平面承载构件462。通过与之前示例的对比,燃料系统部件460在其顶表面466处被形成为具有三个卡扣锁构件464,并借此适于被预先装配有熔焊构件300A,该预先装配是通过与平面承载构件462一起形成以用于接收和卡扣接合卡扣锁构件464的向外突起468以及插槽470实现的。还应被注意到的是,平面构件462并非必须是圆形的,并且在此示例中包括线性边缘472,这样平面构件462的形状便与燃料系统部件460的顶表面466的形状相符合。此外,熔焊构件474的形状是不同的。虽然可以使用单个圆形细长导线部分,但本示例可选地包括细长导线部分476,其具有围绕平面承载构件462外围的外部路径478,而且包括与其中心部分482更为接近的内部路径480。第二路径的使用使得承载构件462与其即将附连至的燃料箱(未显示)之间能够形成比如果仅使用单条路径更为牢固的结合。

Claims (31)
1.一种用于附连到塑性材料燃料箱内壁部分处的位置的燃料系统部件,该燃料系统部件包括具有顶表面的外壳,以及被预先装配到所述外壳的平面可焊接承载构件,该平面可焊接承载构件包括用于将所述燃料系统部件附连到所述燃料箱内壁部分的熔焊构件。
2.根据权利要求1所述的燃料系统部件,其中所述顶表面适于被预先装配有平面可焊接承载构件,并且所述平面可焊接承载构件被预先装配到所述外壳的所述顶表面。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的燃料系统部件,其中所述平面可焊接承载构件包括相反的上表面和下表面,所述下表面适于被预先装配到所述燃料系统部件的所述外壳的所述顶表面。
4.根据权利要求3所述的燃料系统部件,其中所述平面可焊接承载构件的所述下表面通过与机械接合机构一起形成而适于被预先装配到所述外壳的所述顶表面,该机械接合机构从包括卡扣锁构件、螺纹构件和卡销构件的群组中选择;并且所述燃料系统部件的所述顶表面适于通过与机械接合机构一起形成而被预先装配到所述平面可焊接承载构件的所述下表面,所述机械接合机构的类型与所述平面可焊接承载构件的选定机械接合机构相对应。
5.根据权利要求1至3中任意一项所述的燃料系统部件,其中所述外壳的所述顶表面和所述平面可焊接承载构件中的至少一个适于通过具有被施加至其的粘合剂而被预先装配到另一个。
6.根据权利要求1至5中任意一项所述的燃料系统部件,其中所述外壳还包括从所述顶表面横向延伸出来的侧壁,并且所述侧壁是具有与所述燃料箱内部流体连通的外表面的单层壁,而且是具有与所述燃料系统部件的至少一个功能部件流体连通的内表面的单层壁。
7.根据权利要求1至6中任意一项所述的燃料系统部件,其中所述熔焊构件的特征直径小于所述外壳的所述顶表面的特征直径。
8.根据权利要求1至7中任意一项所述的燃料系统部件,其中所述熔焊构件还包括细长导电部分,该细长导电部分包括远离所述熔焊构件中心部分的至少第一部分,以及被设置在所述至少第一远端部分与所述中心部分中间的至少第二部分。
9.根据权利要求1至8中任意一项所述的燃料系统部件,其中所述熔焊构件还包括细长导电部分,该细长导电部分包括多个大C形子部分,该大C形子部分由多个小C形子部分串联连接。
10.根据权利要求1至9中任意一项所述的燃料系统部件,其中所述熔焊构件还包括第一和第二导电末端,当所述熔焊构件已经被焊接到另一个物体时,所述第一和第二导电末端适于通过对其施加拉力而得以从所述熔焊构件分开。
11.根据权利要求1至10中任意一项所述的燃料系统部件,其中所述燃料系统部件还包括至少一个额外的平面可焊接承载构件,该至少一个额外的平面可焊接承载构件具有被预先装配至其的熔焊构件。
12.根据权利要求1所述的燃料系统部件,其中所述熔焊构件是盘绕的细丝。
13.根据权利要求1所述的燃料系统部件,其中所述熔焊构件是波浪形的细丝。
14.根据权利要求1所述的燃料系统部件,其中所述熔焊构件呈片状材料形式。
15.根据权利要求1所述的燃料系统部件,其中所述熔焊构件被装配有能够与施加器相接合的电插座。
16.一种平面可焊接承载构件,其包括相反的上表面和下表面,以及附连至该平面可焊接承载构件的熔焊构件。
17.根据权利要求16所述的平面可焊接承载构件,其中所述平面可焊接承载构件的所述下表面适于被预先装配到燃料系统部件的外壳。
18.根据权利要求17所述的平面可焊接承载构件,其中所述平面可焊接承载构件的所述下表面通过与机械接合机构一起形成而适于被预先装配,该机械接合机构从包括卡扣锁构件、螺纹构件和卡销构件组成的群组中选择。
19.根据权利要求17所述的平面可焊接承载构件,其中所述平面可焊接承载构件的所述下表面适于通过具有被施加至其的粘合剂而被预先装配。
20.根据权利要求16至19中任意一项所述的平面可焊接承载构件,其中所述熔焊构件还包括细长导电部分,该细长导电部分包括远离所述熔焊构件中心部分的至少第一部分,以及被设置在该至少第一远端部分与所述中心部分中间的至少第二部分。
21.根据权利要求16至19中任意一项所述的平面可焊接承载构件,其中所述熔焊构件还包括细长导电部分,该细长导电部分包括多个大C形子部分,该多个大C形子部分由多个小C形子部分串联连接。
22.根据权利要求21所述的平面可焊接承载构件,其中所述熔焊构件还包括第一和第二导电末端,当所述熔焊构件已经被焊接到另一个物体时,所述第一和第二导电末端适于通过对其施加拉力而得以从所述熔焊构件分开。
