Abstract
本发明涉及浓缩的脂肪醇硫酸盐组合物,其含有大于35重量%的脂肪醇硫酸盐(FAS)。该组合物是水性的,除了含有FAS之外,还含有多元醇和/或脂肪酸烷基酰胺和/或油溶性甜菜碱。该组合物不但适合用于制备洗涤剂和清洁剂组合物,也适合用于制备化妆用组合物,特别是牙齿护理组合物。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及浓缩的基于烷基硫酸酯盐(alkyl sulfate)表面活性剂的表面活性剂组合物,及其用途和制备。
背景技术
脂肪醇硫酸盐(fatty alcohol sulfate)是已知的阴离子型表面活性剂,其不但用于多种洗涤剂和清洁剂组合物中,也用于化妆用组合物如洗发水、皮肤用清洁组合物、皮肤用肥皂中,还用于牙膏中。
基本上通过用气态的SO3硫酸化合适的脂肪醇来大规模地制备烷基硫酸酯盐。接着,此过程中作为粗产物出现的烷基硫酸在合适碱(优选氢氧化钠水溶液)的存在下中和为烷基硫酸酯盐。在这个过程结束时,含表面活性剂的水性组合物含有最多为30重量%的阴离子型表面活性剂。
为了输送这种组合物,常常要除去水以获得干燥的产物,这种产物更易于输送。但是除去水的步骤要消耗很多能量,并因此较为昂贵。输送直接产生的水性组合物本身也并不为有利的,此时只输送了相对而言很少量的活性物质(最多30重量%),但是输送了大量的水。此外,干燥脂肪醇硫酸盐的加工步骤也是耗时的。液态脂肪醇硫酸盐的使用通常可以使洗发水、皮肤用清洁组合物、皮肤用肥皂以及牙膏的制造商一侧的批次时间减少(Batchzeitreduzierung)超过20%。
因此,为了避免上述问题,需要提供可抽送的、液态的或略成糊状的、高度浓缩的脂肪醇硫酸盐组合物。
已经发现,可以通过添加确定的添加剂获得相当高浓度的、可抽送的即、低粘度的脂肪醇硫酸盐组合物。
发明内容
因此本发明的第一个主题涉及成分如下的组合物,其含有至少
(a)基于组合物总重量为35重量%的通式(I)的一种或多种脂肪醇硫酸盐,
R1O-SO3X (I)
其中R1表示含有6至22个、优选为12至18个碳原子的直链或支链的脂肪族烷基和/或烯基,X表示碱金属和/或碱土金属、铵、烷基铵、烷醇铵或葡糖铵(Glucammonium),
(b)一种多元醇和/或甜菜碱和/或脂肪酸烷基酰胺,和
(c)水。
烷基和/或烯基硫酸酯盐通常也称为脂肪醇硫酸盐,它们为伯醇的硫酸化产物,遵循通式(I):

其中R1表示含有6至22个、优选为12至18个碳原子的直链或支链的脂肪族烷基和/或烯基,X表示碱金属和/或碱土金属、铵、烷基铵、烷醇铵或葡糖铵。在本发明的范围内,烷基硫酸酯盐的典型实例可以为下列醇的硫酸化产物:己醇、辛醇、癸醇、2-乙基己醇、月桂醇、肉豆蔻醇、鲸蜡醇、棕榈油醇(palmoleyl alcohol)、硬脂醇、异硬脂醇、油醇、反油醇、岩芹醇(petroselinyl)、花生醇、二十碳烯醇(gadoleyl alcohol)、山萮醇、瓢儿菜醇,以及它们的工业级混合物,是通过对工业级甲基酯馏分或来自罗林羰基合成反应的醛进行高压氢化得到的。这些硫酸化产物可以优选以其碱金属盐的形式以及特别优选为其钠盐的形式使用。
特别优选的是基于C16/C18牛油脂肪醇(Talgfettalkokol)的烷基硫酸酯盐和/或在它们的钠盐形式中碳链分布类似的植物脂肪醇的烷基硫酸酯盐。特别重要的基于十二烷醇的烷基硫酸酯盐,因为这种硫酸酯盐用于牙齿护理和牙齿清洁组合物中。此外,优选的还有由含12至14个碳原子的脂肪醇形成的脂肪醇混合物(Fettalkoholschnitte),其中此时特别优选使用的可以是这样的混合物:其只含有很少的C16脂肪醇,例如基于脂肪醇的量小于10重量%,优选小于5重量%,特别小于3重量%。此外,特别优选的是饱和的脂肪醇和本文上述的混合物(Schnitt)。
本发明的组合物的优势在于其为高度浓缩的,即本发明的范围内,该组合物基于全部组合物而言含有至少35重量%的脂肪醇硫酸盐。根据本发明的技术启示,该组合物以组合物总重量计含有大于35重量%、但是优选36重量%至70重量%、特别为40至60重量%和特别优选40至50重量%的脂肪醇硫酸盐。
本发明的主要特征是多元醇或甜菜碱和/或脂肪酸烷基酰胺的存在,但是在这三个类别中优选多元醇。
适合本发明的多元醇优选具有2至15个碳原子和至少两个羟基。该多元醇还可以含有其他官能团,特别是氨基,或者以氮修饰。典型的实例有:甘油;亚烷基二醇,如乙二醇、二甘醇、丙二醇、丁二醇、己二醇以及平均分子量为100至1000道尔顿的聚乙二醇;工业级寡聚甘油基混合物,其特征缩合度为1.5至10,如一缩二甘油含量为40至50重量%的工业级一缩二甘油混合物;羟甲基化合物,如具体为三羟甲基乙烷、三羟甲基丙烷、三羟甲基丁烷、季戊四醇、二季戊四醇酯;低级烷基葡糖苷,特别是烷基部分具有1至8个碳原子的低级烷基葡糖苷,如甲基葡糖苷和丁基葡糖苷;具有5至12个碳原子的糖醇,例如山梨醇或甘露醇、具有5至12个碳原子的糖,如葡萄糖或蔗糖;氨基糖,如葡糖胺;二醇胺,例如二乙醇胺或2-氨基-1,3-丙二醇。优选的多元醇选自甘油、乙二醇、丙二醇或山梨醇,其中甘油和山梨醇是特别优选的。
甜菜碱为已知的表面活性剂,其主要通过羧烷基化、优选羧甲基化胺化合物(aminishe Verbindung)来制备。优选的是使原料与卤代羧酸或其盐缩合(condense),特别是与氯代乙酸钠缩合,其中每摩尔甜菜碱由1摩尔盐形成。此外,还可以加合不饱和羧酸,如丙烯酸。特别优选的是通过油(即甘油三酸酯)的反应得到甜菜碱。作为实例有N,N-二甲基-N(椰油酰胺丙基)乙酰甜菜碱铵(N,N-dimethyl-N-(cocoamidopropyl)ammoniumacetobetaine)(Dehyton PK 45,Cognis公司)。
优选的是油溶性甜菜碱。
脂肪酸烷基酰胺同样也是已知的化合物。其在狭义上可以理解为脂肪酸烷醇酰胺,其中此处特别优选脂肪酸二乙醇酰胺或脂肪酸单乙醇酰胺。此外,此处优选这种类型的化合物:其含有具有7至21个碳原子的、饱和或不饱和的、支链或无支链的脂肪酸。例如由本申请人以名称“Comperlan”销售的化合物。特别优选的是基于椰油脂肪酸单乙醇酰胺的脂肪酸烷基酰胺。同样特别优选油溶性的脂肪酸烷基酰胺。
组合物中的多元醇以及甜菜碱和/或脂肪酸烷基酰胺的量,基于组合物的总量,为10至45重量%,优选为15至40重量%,特别为25至35重量%。优选使用的可以是多元醇、甜菜碱和/或脂肪酸烷基酰胺的混合物。
本发明的组合物必须含有脂肪醇硫酸盐、多元醇或甜菜碱或脂肪酸烷基酰胺、和水,此外,还可以含有其他成分,例如无机盐或非离子型表面活性剂。但是,特别优选的组合物是只由上述三种成分组成的组合物。
该水性组合物的pH值优选为大于8,优选pH值的范围为9至12、特别优选为10至12。该组合物可以为液态或者为糊(Paste),优选为低粘度、可抽送的糊。典型的粘度为500至10000mPas、优选为1000至8000mPas,该粘度值根据Brookfield在25℃测量(转子3或4,10rpm)。
本发明优选的组合物含有,基于组合物总重量计:(a)36至45重量%的通式(I)的烷基硫酸酯盐;(b)28至45重量%的多元醇、甜菜碱和/或脂肪酸烷基酰胺,其中多元醇优选为甘油和/或山梨醇;和(c)10至34重量%的水。
浓缩的脂肪醇组合物的制备优选通过在水/多元醇或甜菜碱混合物的存在下中和硫酸脂肪醇酯而制备。因此,本发明的另一个主题涉及制备下述组合物的方法,该组合物含有至少35重量%的上述通式(I)的烷基硫酸酯盐,其中,向由(a)水和(b)多元醇或甜菜碱形成的混合物中连续加入未经中和的通式R1-OSO3H的烷基硫酸(酯)以及一定量的碱,其中,上述混合物是将(a)比(b)的体积比调节到3∶1~1∶3的范围,上述碱的量适于充分中和烷基硫酸酯盐,并且由(a)和(b)形成的混合物与未经中和的烷基硫酸酯盐和碱的混合一直进行到经中和的通式(I)的烷基硫酸酯盐的浓度至少达到35重量%。
脂肪醇的硫酸化以已知的方式通过SO3来进行。然后,这种粗硫酸化产物计量加入(a)和(b)的混合物中,同时优选分开加入碱的水溶液、优选为氢氧化钠水溶液,这样就同时发生混合和中和反应。该过程一直持续到得到所需浓度范围的脂肪醇硫酸盐组合物。然后,如果需要的话,还可以计量加入其他添加剂或成分。然后,该方法产物还可以例如经漂白和/或与香料混合。调节(a)和(b)之间的用量比也可以是有利的,其中特别优选的体积比为3∶1至1∶1,特别为2∶1至1.5∶1。

实施例
在SO3设备中,对定量组成(C12:65-71重量%;C14:22-28重量%;C16:3-6重量%)的脂肪醇混合物进行硫酸化。然后,在不锈钢中和反应容器中,将硫酸化的粗产物连续地计量加入由多元醇与水(重量比为3∶1)构成的混合物以及30%的NaOH水溶液中。中和反应后,排出最终产物。其含有42重量%的硫酸化的脂肪醇。pH值为11。颜色(APHA,20重量%的溶液)测量为50。

Claims (18)

(a)基于组合物总重量为至少35重量%至70重量%的通式(I)的一种或多种脂肪醇硫酸盐,

(a)36至45重量%的通式(I)的烷基硫酸酯盐,
(b)28至45重量%的多元醇,和
(c)10至34重量%的水。
15.制备下述组合物的方法,该组合物至少含有35重量%的权利要求1所述的通式(I)的烷基硫酸酯盐,其中,向由(A)水和(B)多元醇形成的混合物中连续加入未经中和的通式R1-OSO3H的烷基硫酸酯盐以及一定量的碱,其中(A)比(B)的体积比调节为3∶1至1∶3,其中碱的量适于充分中和烷基硫酸酯盐,并且由(A)和(B)形成的混合物与未经中和的烷基硫酸酯盐和碱的混合一直进行到经中和的通式(I)的烷基硫酸酯盐的浓度达到至少35重量%。
16.根据权利要求1至14中任一项的组合物的用途,为用于制备洗涤剂或清洁剂组合物,或用于制备化妆用组合物。
17.根据权利要求16的用途,用于制备洗发水或牙膏。
18.洗涤剂、清洁剂或化妆用组合物,其含有根据权利要求1的组合物。
